  1. Parker 9 and moving Riley up against the righty is the right move. Tork gotta have a big game shielded by two lefties.

  2. this gives hinch the chance to bring in wenceel in case mariners go to a lefty, if he wants to

  3. Hell yes. Upper 3rd is stacked. No more Riley at 5. Let’s fucking go! Steal game 1 let’s gets it boys

  4. I think this is our best lineup we are probably going to have to score 5-7 runs to win the non Skubal starts

  5. I want to see more out of McKinstry, I believe in him! Other than that I like sticking with the Javy-Parker-Gleyber 8-9-1.

  6. Great line-up today.

Everyone on r/baseball is calling us trash.

I love us being the underdog.

  7. I know Perez got a clutch hit last game, but I am glad he is out of the three spot. Looks like some runs to me.

  8. we scored 4 runs in 5 innings off kerby when we faced him july 12, in detroit. long time ago but have had some success. seattle hasn’t seen melton yet

  9. In the Hinch era I just read it as:

Righty, Lefty, Lefty, Righty, Lefty, Righty, Lefty, Righty, Lefty

  10. It feels like to the general baseball community, the main narrative of this series is about the Mariners and if they can make a deep run this year. But if we can win game 1, with Skubal going in game 2, they’ll be on the back foot with every pressure placed on them. Let’s win this game and flip the script of this series.

  11. Colt was 2-15 with 2 walks last year in the ALDS. Need more from him this time around, but it’s good to have him back.
