  1. I like Sasson’s game but no surprise here. He’s not waiver eligible so it was an easy choice among the forwards left.

  2. 2 cuts remain? Means forwards are set right? 2 should be d-men.

POJ may miss time wonder if he goes on IR and we just send Tommy Wills down

Willander seems the obvious one, he needs time to adjust to pro hockey like D-Petey last year. But that last cut is gonna be more challenging.

Cutting one of D-Petey or Mancini with the assumption they’ll rotate call-ups for games (until injuries inevitably hit or they force their way over Forbort) seems the logical choice to me.

  4. I’d give Sasson a slight edge over Bains or Karlson, this is purely due to waivers.

  5. Guys/girls genuine question… who is PO Joseph and how did we acquire him… I totally missed something this offseason.

  6. Understandable. I kind of knew he would get sent down because he’s exempt to being claimed by waivers. Even though I’d prefer Sasson over Karlsson and Bains

  7. I would put both Bains and PO Joseph on waivers. Both are not quite NHL ready and now is the time to get someone through. Neither would be a big loss if claimed. Their value goes up if they go unclaimed. I see both as having a future in the NHL but Bains ceiling is 3rd liner. PO at the most is 6/7 defenseman. And they both need a lot of improvement to get there.

  8. We have issues with too many good dmen? Who would have thought that for the past 20 years.

  9. I remember the brief situation we had last year where they couldn’t figure out how his name should be pronounced.
