then we are cooked
The Anti-Clutch
No issue with that answer. Also I hope Judge keeps growing his beard, he looks very sexy with it.
How about “hit with RISP” or “walk in a run with RISP?”
Hes gonna keep that same offensive mindset in the playoffs too
Brother get a hit that matters please
ITS 1 GAME…its just 1 game…its just 1 game…at least thats what i will be whispering to myself as i fall asleep crying.
Aaron Judge needs to get out of his own head. He needs Regular Season Aaron Judge Brain.
He’s trying too hard, the way Arod did in his ’05 and ’07 MVP seasons. Shoulda passed the baton instead of swinging at slop. He’s the batting champ ffs
“We’re going to keep the same mindset we’ve had all year”
That’s what we were afraid of Aaron
Move him to 5
His at bat today with the bases loaded was pathetic.
All I want to see is this guy break his bat after a strikeout one time. He needs to get more pissed off
Just hit tomorrow and hope Fried is ace Fried.
Biggest loser of a captain in this org’s history.
WE LOST A GAME! DOOMERS GET THE FUCK IN HERE!
Can this goof be mad sometimes
He should stop smiling
Aaron Judge have to show some passion this nice guy shit is getting stale
Well shit
I’m fully expecting Max Fried to show up tomorrow. Baseball is a day to day game. Just need the bats to come alive man, and I really hope it’s tomorrow.
Or not swing at ball 4
Our offense is not that good to be punting playoff games lmao.
How about score with bases loaded? Jays sweep in 4
Hell yea go Yankees!!!!
Regular season Judge is my favorite player. Postseason Judge is the worst player ever
Mr. June
At least he’s not striking out at a 40% clip like his usual postseason. So things are looking up!
To Judge’s credit … they (the media) does ask the same thing over and over. Every game has to have a winner and a loser. Today, it was the Yankees. Tomorrows a new day/game.
That’s my low leverage captain!!
It’s funny that everyone here is on his ass while he’s opsing in the 9s while 5 of the best hitters in this lineup have an ops under .650 and one of them is under a .300
All of you doomers should get the fuck out of here. He was two for four today, and it’s one away game where their ace was pitching and our fourth pitcher was pitching. We need to win one game in their stadium and two in ours. Chill.
Why is everyone bitching about his comment of having the same mindset. Half of the comments on here are “that’s the problem”. No it’s not. They were tied for having the best record in the AL and lost today to the team that they were tied with. It’s one game.
This “the sky is falling” shit from Yankee “fans” (very loose term) is f ‘n annoying.
How about don’t keep the same loser mindset and hit when it matters
same old story with this dude
We got blown out but I think that his unwillingness to take a walk at that critical at bad pretty much ended us
Valid take, but let’s be real, the Captain’s postseason track record speaks for itself. And this October’s looking like the same tired rerun. I’d rather see a clutch grand salami when it matters than a hollow double when the game’s already gone. Love Judge, but being captain means you carry the weight, especially after that disaster inning against the Dodgers last year. Sure, Baboone’s circus act in the dugout doesn’t help, but come on, we’re the New York fucking Yankees. The pinstripes used to mean something. The Core Four and the supporting cast played smart, situational baseball, and they won. Yes, the game has evolved since, but the fundamentals remain the same. Lately? This team couldn’t buy a timely hit if their season depended on it. Remember how electric it felt spanking Boston with actual clutch hitting the other night? Yeah, that’s the standard.
Weirdos defending him so hard for his postseason don’t realize he’s not even scary to the opposing team. With guys on base they just go right at him, no fear. They know he don’t got it.
Running out of patience dude. You gotta figure this out
Judge is keeping the mindset of “swing at ball 4 that’s away and at my ankle” with the bases loaded and no outs.
“Yeah, I’m not gonna swing at ball 4 that didn’t even start in the strike zone tomorrow when we have bases loaded and no outs”
Arod figured it out in the postseason after a few years and won us a ring.
This guy consistently plays worse every postseason and I don’t know if he’ll ever look like his regular season self.
If he keepa his playoff mindset then we’re toast. Regular season dude champ over here
He was 2/4 today and is hitting .375 in the playoffs. Can we please chill
whatever mindset he has during the regular season he’s gotta figure out how to keep here in the post-season.
the bases were loaded with him at bat, and he got too eager and swung himself out unnecessarily. that seemed like a perfect example of the pressure weighing on him too much, he was over-eager to go big (understandably ofc) but if he just Bellingere’d his way through things with more chill he still could’ve made a play there.
At some point he’s going to have to deliver a big hit. And today it didn’t even need to be a hit. If he spits on ball 4 and it’s bases loaded no out I’ll bet they win the game. That was a bad swing at a horrendous pitch.
He’s going to have more chances. Maybe even tomorrow. We need a big swing out of him.
Dude hasn’t swung at a pitch that far outside the zone all year.
Yes please go back to the same mindset as during the year.
Fuck you choker.
Hoping they bounce back. Let’s go Yanks!!!
If he’s still not ready to do shit in the postszn then Im over it atp
He is Joey Gallo in crunchtime until he isn’t. Numbers don’t lie.
