We don’t need another wr, we need a running back who can chip block, roll out and catch short dump off passes. in case we face a bad look on a passing play, we can dump it off for 3-5 yards consistently.

Rashee Rice’s last 17 games (incl. postseason) not counting the Chargers injury
108 catches, 1243 yards, 8 touchdowns
That includes 3-4 games in 2023 as a rookie where he still wasn’t getting more than 60% of the snap share
I think he’s an obvious WR1 candidate, and could probably get used in the same way Puka is
I don’t disagree that he will make an immediate impact. He is consistently our best player at yards after catch. And that’s what our entire offense is built around
It’s not a receiver we need, it’s a RB
