[Music] here tonight. They don’t even have the upper bowl even open at the United Center. Good crowd in the lower bowl and in the club level. They’ve just funneled it down as each team will play their final preseason game. Blues bring it in. Stanford centers and Casaki put it in and score. You’re going to see Otto Stenberg. He’s going to get the length of the ice. He’s going to get far blue line. Go to knock it loose. Puts it to open ice on the near wing to Mayu. Mayu fires. Score. Logan Mayu to the front of the net. It might have gone off Milan Luchich who was cutting through. Sodlum looks at the goalender as if he was touched, but he was actually bumped by his own player. And it’s a two nothing St. Louis Blues lead. 647 to go in the second. Well, it’s a great shot by Mayu. It’s a great screen by Milan Luchi’s getting to the rough area. Soda Bloom is going to want something here. This is going to be interesting there. There could be goalie contact. I thought the play actually was going to be offside and they’re going to have maybe a quick discussion with the Chicago bench. Up to the blue line, they shoot. They score. Robert Thomas deflects down a Skinner shot. Put it under the glove of the goalie. Three nothing Blues. 150 to go. Second period. Wow. This is a complete missed assignment for the Chicago Blackhawks. This looks like a preseason game. Robert Thomas is going to win the faceoff. You’re going to get some really good help from Snugaroo and Jake Neighbors. And then whenever a defending center loses the draw, you got to stay with the center, which I think speaks volumes to the quality of the coaches they’re bringing in. Robert Thomas is having himself quite a preeason faceoff win works back to Mayu. Mayu’s then going to find Thomas in the near corner. Thomas is going to look at the net. A miss assignment once again by Chicago. He sees open ice. He says, “Thank you.” He just takes it right to the cage. Brings it in there. Tucks it right between Sodor Blom’s pads. The St. Louis Blues closed out the 2025 preseason with a 4-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center on October 4, thanks to goals from Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, Milan Lucic, Robert Thomas, and Otto Stenberg.

The Blues will open the 2025-26 regular season Oct. 9 at home vs. the Minnesota Wild.
