Brotha thank you for this post because we don’t need a ring to cheer them on. Where’s the fun in that?
We just wanted some playoff home games. 😔
That poster is my childhood right there.
Last year was far worse because I really thought we had it. This year we were on the edge of something the whole year without it all ever coming together. Obviously anything can happen in the playoffs but it was more hope than expectation. Ownership issues to start the year with what we all thought was a roster with major holes in it. Tatis hot at the beginning. Manny got in the middle. Merrill never able to get going due to injuries. X coming good by the end. The starting pitching being up and down all year. The bullpen was the only thing that was constantly good.
Im optimistic for next year. Starting pitching will get better. Laureano and Freddie for a whole season. No paying for retired players anymore.
I refuse to acknowledge baseball exists until next year.
I know, we love this team because we’re gluttons for punishment.
