The Chicago Bulls Don’t Need Josh Giddey To be a Superstar #Nba #chicagobulls #joshgiddey
Well, 25 million a year may seem like a lot, but then again, this deal doesn’t even require Giddy to be a superstar or even close to one. And if you look at it, 25 million averages to just around 14% of next season’s salary cap. So, I think even if Giddy tops out as something like the third best player on a playoff team or only the sixth man of a contending team, his 100 million contract is still going to end up as a win for Chicago in a few years. And for context, Giddy’s deal would make him only the fifth highest paid player on next season’s Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, and New York Knicks teams, and only the sixth highest paid player on the 2027 Cleveland Cavaliers payroll. At the end of the day, the correct endgame for Chicago was securing Gideon a long-term contract at a reasonable price and hopefully generating massive surplus value out of him, especially in the final years of his contract when he’s about to enter his prime. And the Chicago Bulls are on pace to accomplish that with this transition.
The Chicago Bulls have a future NBA All-Star in Josh Giddey. But what can the Bulls do after signing him to a 100 million contract?

I think he's going to shock a lot of people next season and become the Bull's best player.
Bulls fans who hate Giddey gonna be regretting…this guy will be a star
