  1. Crazy to say this but Freeman McNeil. For a couple of years he was the best back in the NFL.

    Al Toon.

  2. TOOOOOOOON

    Moore

    Murrell

    Johnny Hector

    Fred Baxter

    Brad Baxter

Basically a lot of the late 80s Jets offense because I took for granted that I was watching the best sustained offensive success I would see in my life.

And they weren’t even that great. But at least they were watchable.

  3. Rob Moore came to my HS in 1991.

He was a Hempstead grad; I attended Port Washington.

Hempstead kicked our ass every year. But Rob Moore and Don McPherson came to tell us to stay in school, not do drugs and try to be better athletes.

  4. He wasn’t around long, but for some reason I loved Johnny Johnson. Probably had more to do with Madden than on the field.

  5. Brian Washington, Johnny Mitchell, James Hasty..3 of my favorites from that horrible mid 90s era

Ryan Yarborough and Terance Mathis too (not favorites just 2 more that popped in my head)

  6. Brian Cox? I don’t know all that much about him honestly, when I was a kid I just loved his crazy looking neck gear. He looked like a monster lol

  7. D’Brickashaw Ferguson

Honestly it was always the lesser known pass rushers that would give him the most trouble. It was more the guys built like a defensive tackle who were good at rushing the QB. The known guys like Merriman, Freeney, James Harrison, Aldon Smith even he’d do his best against; as with Julius Peppers was known for his arms being the length of his body damn near definitely was a benefit with the speed guys

Plus he literally missed just one snap his entire career. And it was because Rex Ryan subbed him out for Tim Tebow on a punt. That OL of Brick, Faneca, Mangold, Moore, Woody was damn good.
