The only one who these players should be staring down is themselves in the fucking mirror. 5 runs in our last 5 playoff games. One horrendous strike 3 call isn’t what lost this series for us. We lost the series because the vast majority of these players are mentally weak and would rather blame the umps than take accountability. This shit is straight embarrassing, and if these players have something to say then maybe next time they should let their bats do the talking

Yes, Bogey, it was horrible strike call. It may have changed the outlook of the 9th inning or the game as a whole but if this team would have hit earlier then it would have been a non issue. Tatis looked like he checked out completely.

Yeah the ump sucks but we suck too. Look at the box score for our top three. I know we won 90 games, but this was a very disappointing season for how our hitters just did not show up. It will be a long time before I can forget Tatis’ utterly shitty at-bats last night and for the second half of the season. I’m pissed at my team.
This was right after the game. Everyone was still pretty heated. So the Bogaerts reaction makes sense to me. It was a big moment and there was a lot of adrenaline running through. Ump shouting back also creates more tension.
People are gonna blame the Padres offense not showing up and they should, but this was a big call also.
