The Kraken have placed John Hayden on waivers for the purpose of being reassigned to the Cochella Valley Firebirds

  1. SoH posted the current practice lines this morning which shows who is still on the roster :

    >Eberle / Beniers / McCann
    Schwartz / Wright / Tolvanen
    Marchment / Stephenson / Winterton
    Kartye / Gaudreau / Nyman
    Catton / Fisker Molgaard (Extras)

    >Dunn / Larsson
    Lindgren / Fleury

    Ottavainen
    (Defense rotating)

    Assuming OFM does get re-assigned, that leaves the team with 13 Fs, 7Ds, and 3 remaining spots for the goalies.

    They might also be putting Hayden on waivers now just so Catton can get some early games in and then they recall Hayden later once they decide to send Catton back to the WHL. (edit: could also be the same thing for Winterton except he can go to the AHL without waivers)

    edit: I forgot Montour. Assuming he’s healthy, either Fleury or Ottavainen would get sent down. Since Fleury would require waivers and therefore would need to be put on waiver today, they will likely send Ottavainen + OFM/Winterton down tomorrow for the final roster.

  2. I just hope it’s finally Winterton’s time. I’ve been waiting to see what some prolonged time in the show will do for him.
