So with that, I have Tyler. Oh, just go. Why not? Nice try. Nice try. Oh, I know. I bothered somebody in the last stream, so I thought I’d do it again. Oh, boy. Oh, yeah. Just keep bothering people. It’s great. And and Jules, who uh Hello. I got a new hat, guys. I went to San Jose a few days ago and um I got this hat and it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made in my life. Say hi to Sharky, everyone. Hi, Sharky. Anyways, I’m very tired. This is making me feel better. I’m scared. Very, very scared. This is making me feel better. the content people tune in to Tealtown for. You know, I think I hate to say it, but that’s probably the case. Uh, you know, uh, let me know how much you appreciate my hat cuz me and my friend got matching hats. Was that hack? No, me and my Okay. Me and my friend bought these hats. Uh, cuz we were in San Jose hanging out for a bit and we saw it and we immediately purchased it because um, why not? And we were not drunk. So, even scarier. Okay. Uh, all right. Here we go. Uh, looking into the chat right now off the getgo. Jesus. I know it’s only preseason, but asky looking at it all at what a starting tender should look like at this point. Hope it’s just a bad game. I think been great. Like he he he had a few like decent saves, but he he hasn’t been wonderful. Yeah. Uh, you know, and you know, Big Bird continue not panicking. It is preseason. We expected a much better outing. Uh Ricky mentioning a disgustingly sloppy defense. Well, when you’re doing, you know, Yeah, the defense today was Yeah, when you allow six goals on 23 shots, it’s uh it’s just uh ass. Yeah, it’s not good. We don’t mean Ascarov. No. So, uh but it started out well. I mean, it actually started up not too bad. Uh, like two two minutes in, Adam Goddet, you know, uh, with a nice move after after a after Ascrov breaks up a twoon and Adam Godette comes down and scores a a pretty goal to uh to get things going less than three minutes in, make it one- nothing Sharks. And Jules, I mean, you’ve liked God as so have I this this preseason. I mean, he’s slowly becoming one of my favorites. Look, like the lines we saw today are probably not going to be the lines that we see come opening night. Let’s just let me get that out there real fast. Uh cuz I already saw some stuff in the chat about that. Um that let’s just get that straight. But Godette, I have personally loved him. I think he’s been pretty good on the PK today. today. The PK I don’t think did as well, but I thought he’s been good on the PK. He’s playing on the line with Goodro and Reeves. So, I for him to do what he’s done with Goodro and Reeves, I think it’s impressive. And two of those guys had goals tonight. Yay. I love my team. Um, no, but look, I I love I’ve really liked God’s game. Um, and you know, I uh I’m excited to see what he can do because he’s one of the few players who is signed beyond this year. Tyler, I didn’t think there was like a whole level that Jules can have outside of having coffee, but that hat is now taking it a full toll. But uh I mean, Godette has looked good, but then what happened? Oh god. Oh, then we collapsed. Do you know how um when you play Jenga and you pull the wrong piece out? Mhm. That’s what happened to the sharks. Yeah. Yeah. There was a there was a period of time where I thought in the arms of the Angels are going to start playing because they abandoned Ascarov. I mean, Ascarov didn’t have a great game. Let’s be real here. But the Sharks can help. How many twoon ones did they have in that second period? How many two-on- ones did they have on the power play going the other way? Yeah. Verify that. Exactly. I mean, look, it it’s preeason and to a certain extent, like when the Sharks plates when the basically the Barracuda beat the VGK lineup last night. You don’t also want to overreact to that. It’s the same thing. You don’t want to overreact to this, right? But as fans, we have a tendency to overreact to the negative, I think, a little more to the positive at times. But look, this wasn’t a good preseason game by the Sharks. I’m not going to sugarcoat that. was awful except for like 10 minutes in the second. But game isn’t gonna change how I feel about the team overall. Like it’s one game. Like I’m not It’s so over. We’re back. We’re so It’s so over. We’re back. The rebuild’s over. The rebuild’s cooked, guys. Yeah. It It’s like Katy Perry with the hot and cold song, you know? uh you have a hot game against Vegas and their NHL squad and then you have um um let’s be honest a mostly NHL squad you you’re playing up against against Utah plus you’re having a lot of regulars. Oh by the way Mlin bringing back in the lineup uh and then you give up four goals in in a matter of six and a half minutes. They pulled the wrong Jenga piece. I’m telling you man it was a it was a collapse. Um, but going to flip the script here for a second. They did come back. It was 4-1. It was 4-1. Uh, you had Zurgichev getting getting on the board. I thought that should have gone to Agazino first, but of course Agazino would get the would get one of the four goals because he got two. They gave him two. I don’t see two. No, I thought he got two. I thought he gotten two. I thought he got in that first one, but they only got one. Unfortunately, I got I thought he got the first and the third, but okay. I guess that’s that’s what I thought too, but they didn’t, you know. But then again, who knows? I mean, there NHL.com is showing 24 saves or 24 shots for Askarov. But, you know, was not a good night for goalies. Christ. Well, I was going to say I think the Agazino one, wasn’t that the one where it had already crossed the line before he touched it? Is that what it was? See, when I looked at the replay when I was ging it, it didn’t look like it crossed the line. I thought he had slammed it home. Okay. But but they gave it to Cirv. Then Agazino gets that beautiful pass over for the third goal to to make it 3-1. Uh and then Yamamoto. I mean, nothing Askarov can really do there to make it 4-1. But as Jules said, the Sharks got a talking in the locker room. Uh, who knows who did that, but I can’t wait for quotes to come out uh pretty soon here. Um, I bet Warski is gonna be spicy. I love spicy Warso is always um Yeah, is always fun. Um, no, look like I I am glad this team made it interesting cuz um, good god, it would been more painful to talk about this game if they didn’t. But look, good on them for coming out in the second period and and kind of making a statement there, right? Um, but you want to see some fight. Um, but yeah, I mean, the thing I wanted to see in this game, move your bloody feet. I mean, God, how many times like Oh, yeah. We weren’t skating. Like again, I’m not gonna judge him off of one game, but being that this is one of the first games that we had uh you know, Revo really being out there twice, uh he got past the puck when he’d already decided he was getting off and he just kind of let it go to the other team cuz he was like, “No, I’m going for a change again.” Oh, wait, hold up. I’m sorry. Austin Westbrook’s question is actually really funny. I kind of I’m sorry. derail. You derail this. No way. Uh, which one? Austin. Yeah. How badly do you think an under 23 shark squad could beat an over 23 shark squad? I don’t think it’d be close. It It wouldn’t be close. They would demolish them. The unders would demolish the older guys. Yeah. H. All right. So, let’s get to it. And there you can fight over it because the over 23 got the things going in the comeback. You had Tyler to Foley with the nice shot and about 2 minutes in to make it 42. Then we think we hope we who knows. We’ll we’ll get to that in the second part. I have questions to ask you guys uh a little bit later on. Uh and then Goodro to Gdet back to Goodro for the goal to to cut it to 4-3. I thought that was nice. Maybe you hope maybe you build some chemistry uh for maybe the bottom six gang. Yeah. Um that was good on good. Um again, bottom six, you’d like to see them score. Um and that was a nice play. So, good job. And I can’t I can’t disagree with uh Jules Godets at least showing why he wants to be on this team far more than several other players could be said. Yep. Uh it it’s gonna be fun. It’ll be fun. And of course, what was fun was seeing them on the power play connect to Foley to Celibbrini to freaking Will Smith. I need the noise I made was just a gas phrasing. I that was not the right terminology to use at um the I saw that pass and I was like, “Holy [ __ ] dude.” Like that’s that pass spicy after dark podcast. Um, that why it’s called After Dark for nothing, folks. Oh my god. God damn it, guys. Um, yeah. Um, no, that was that was a gross play by Celebrity and Smith with the nice finish. I I think I think Professor I think also hockey tweeted this out. I think Smith’s going to enjoy the wing just fine this year. I think he’ll be okay. I feel so bad for Cole. They made him look like an idiot out there during that pass. He’s I I got it already right through his legs. You see him turning You see him turn around and it’s just like over his shoulder and in like Yeah, I got it here. I I just I It’s so pretty. We We can’t We cannot let it watch it like I mean th this setup here and great on the goal cam here. But to fully get it over to Oh, that’s just beautiful. celebrating through him through Cole’s legs right to Smith waiting for him. Vila doesn’t have a shot. Just there’s nothing Veggie can do there. No. Um and Cole is like on his knees proposing to Veggie. So like uh for forgiveness. Yeah. So 44. Uh but unfortunately the Sharks wouldn’t be able to count it back. That That’s how the game ended. The game ended there. We’re not going to talk about the third period. The game ended. It was a four four time. No, no, no, no. We We talk What actually happened, gang. Third period. Clayton Keller’s one-time shot. It It was like I when I mentioned it on the socials, it was like the McDonald’s basketball ad. So, if you know, you know. It was like Keller one-time shot off of Muka Madan. Oh, yeah. And then a penalty on top of that. off of McBain, pass Ascarov, nothing but net. I mean, that’s just one of those heartbreak goals you hate to see happen. Uh, and then there was Brandon Tanv literally skated through Mario Ferraro. Literally, literally just living up to his nickname, Turbo. Sorry, Tyler. Go ahead. Somehow with the puck going, the Sharks won the faceoff. Puck’s going back towards Ferraro. He’s the closest guy and by the time that uh Tanv’s in the zone, the closest players to him are still took the face off and Will Smith who was on the other side of the ice. Yeah. What are we doing here? Ferraro just I think bobbled it or something, but even then like Subbrin and Smith beat him to [ __ ] use. Yeah. I You got to pick up your feet, man. Come on. Yep. Quick feet, boys. Quick feet. I mean, I I don’t know how many times you’ve you’ve heard it in Mildly Cocky. That happened to me. Yeah. Uh, we are getting some quotes from the beat reporter. So, Shang Max, thank you very much. Haven’t heard anything yet from Morskovski. We’ll be keeping posted on it. From Shang, Sharks have the next two days off. Gotet says the team will get together, go golf, get to know each other better. Um, so we’ll see on how that goes. Uh, they’ll be back on practice. So on October 7th, so Tuesday, they’ll be back to practicing and then we’ll get back into things. Uh, Celibbrini saying being able to score in the shootout. By the way, they they won the shootout, so technically it was 65, we’ll call it. Um, celebrating on being able to score in the shootout. I mean, it was something. I worked on that. I was not very good last year, so it’s nice to get one. Nice. Thank Thanks. Thanks, Mac. Appreciate it. Good quote, Mac. Solid. Good work. Yes. Uh, yeah, for the for fun shootout, guys. Uh, just before we get too far away from it, uh, Jerry did have a donation. Jerry, good to see you, buddy. That Jerry, I’m joking. Yes, Jerry. $2 super chat. Thanks. I was finally able to watch you guys live today, Jerry. Thank you. Appreciate it. Looking forward to talking to you on Thursday. Uh, is Baker. Okay. He called the Mammoth, the Jazz, and Coyotes. Okay. Uh, well, Jamie Baker is no longer with on the Sharks broadcast, so I’m guessing it was Drew Ramen, Drew, Dan, probably. Um, yeah, I I heard about that. I think he called it Utah Jazz at one point. Listen, it’s fine. It’s an adjustment. Like, yes. Yeah, you No. Yeah, it’s fine. Like, so it’ll be it’ll be interesting how many times that happens or how many times it says Utah Hockey Club or But come on, one more surprise. Desert dogs. Desert dog. There you go. I didn’t know I was supposed to My hat got stuck. No. Um, what was I going to say? No. Look, guys. Like, okay. Like in all seriousness, I’m gonna like be serious for like four seconds of my life. Um you never shut up, Tyler. Uh no, look, like did the Sharks have a great preseason? Not really. Let’s just be honest here. Two and four. Yeah, that’s that’s not great. No, but the Sharks have won went 6 and0 in one preseason, I believe, or something dumb like they might have been gone like five and one or something and then proceeded to go I think 0 and8 to start that year. Was it 2022 if I recall correctly? Something like that. The preseason doesn’t [ __ ] matter. No. Um, yes, you want to not see the defense be that bad like correct. Yes, that that is concerning. Yes, you want um Yes, you want them to move your feet. Yes, you want them to do all that [ __ ] but we we’re not like there’s no need to hit panic buttons or anything. I am curious what happens with Ascarov. And I don’t mean being sent down to the miners. He’s not going to get sent down to the miners. I’m saying do they go with Ned to start opening night just because Ned has looked super solid. Like talk about another guy I’m starting to fall in love with, not like literally, but like as a player is um uh is Alexovich single for Jews. All right, go ahead. Hey, Alex, if you’re listening to this, uh I typically don’t look this silly. Um you know, his family’s in the Midwest. No, but look, like the I’m curious what happens here. I’m curious if they go Ned to start and just kind of do a rotating 50/50. um just cuz Ascar hasn’t looked great this preseason. He’s made some really good saves. He just hasn’t looked asy if that makes sense. Like what we saw in the A um at times last year, right? So Oh, hey, but the Cuda won 3-2 in a shootout or 2-1 in a shoot, whatever. 3-2. Yeah, sorry. Go ahead. I mean, the only panic button that anybody should really be hitting is our depth players that should be playing for their position on this team. Yeah, Vinnie Dehorn, I’m sorry, you’re going on waivers. Uh, Ty Landrea, I’m sorry, you’re going on waivers. Um, Carl Grundstrom probably is going on waivers. Um, the Cud are going to have a lot of [ __ ] forwards. If you’re trying to say I belong on this team, this preseason was not a good example of it. No, I think Cardwell and Graph have proven their more reliable bottom six guys. Um I think Gresham and Dander are going to end up on the Cuda. Um I think uh I think Dearna is going to end up on the Cuda. I thought Moohead did pretty good preseason. He he’s been he’s been solid. Haven’t like that one game when Orv just like I think flopped four pucks at once. He was I don’t think Yeah, there’s not much he could do there. The high sticking penalty today was I don’t know what Moo was doing, but yeah. Um yeah, I think a lot of the guys that were on this team last year are probably going to be on the Cuda this year. And you know, it just shows that the young guys like Graph and Cardwell are are making the GM make hard decisions and and and that’s what you want, right? Well, and they’re not making the decision hard for them if Well, they’re not, but like they’ve pushed themselves, right? Because typically, you know, veterans, waiverss, exemption, whatever, blah blah blah. Um, but yeah. Okay, so Oh no, I’m scared. We have quotes. Oh no, are you scared? Ryan Warsovski on finishing the preseason. Happy to get it over with. We’ll get a couple of days to rest and recover. Big practice on Tuesday, another big practice on Wednesday, and then here we go on Thursday. We’ll just take it one day at a time and just focus on breaking film down and getting better looking at it and dissecting it and teaching our guys getting as much prepared as we can for Thursday night. Okay, that’s not great. Okay. Uh from Curtis Pashelka, uh Warsovski on the Godette Goodro Reeves line. Heavy hard. They’ve been our most consistent line and it’s not even close. Wait, on the Goodro line? On the Goodro Reeves and Godette line. heavy hard and they’ve been our most consistent line and it’s not even close. Not sure about that one, Chief. Wait, hold on. No, no, no. Hold on. Back up. Huh? Wait. So, uh, in the chat, Ian Reed, good to see you, bud. Puck is 6 PM tomorrow. Be there. You’ll love it. Uh, Ned is absolutely your opening night starter. Askroth will find his way, but if it’s meritocracy, thank you. I was like, my eyes got my eyes working out that way. You have to let Ned start the season. And I completely agree. I think Ned, he had two games and Elon led in one goal if I’m not mistaken. Yeah. And they were both against Vegas. Yeah, I think. Yeah. So, yeah, he’s your starter. Um, Asky will find his way. But right now, I think you go Ned. And he’s he’s looked good. He’s looked like that old Ned that we saw in um Carolina. Yeah. Uh Worsovski, according to Shang Pang, called the Sharks soft in the first period. I I agree. They couldn’t win a puck battle to save their life. Yeah. And you just can’t do that. Two two goals from the fourth line tonight. Uh Yep. Absolutely. Noah Collins consistently bad. I wouldn’t say they’re consistent bad, but to say that they were our most consistent line today, I think is a stretch. Uh, Warso is not going to lose the room. That’s him saying that will have nothing to do with the room. If anything, it’s trying to get his top guys going. Yeah. Big Bird saying has a final 23 bid announced. Not yet. That should be coming sometime this week. There is a certain time frame that they do have to get that in uh beforehand. So, we’ll see on we’ll see on that. Another quote just came down. Uh let’s see what we got here. By the way, uh celebrating on what worked in the second, just our puck battles. The way we were able to kill big plays in the defensive zone. That was the biggest part. They have some really skilled players on that team and when they get going in the ozone, it’s just tough to stop. And just cutting the plays and getting out of our zone as quick as possible kind of led to our success. So, I mean, I think the biggest change that I saw from the first and the second period is they did not have sticks on sticks in the first period. I mean, uh, the first goal um from I’m sorry, I’m blanking on his name. Uh, got it. The first No, no. Uh, the Utah Oh, Utah. That was Sichef. Oh, was that Serge Chefs? I thought it was uh that was the one we thought that it was Agazino that got got it in, but yeah, it was Serge in the first goal. Um maybe it wasn’t the first goal then, but there was a there was a shot that um I think it was Dickinson just he wasn’t getting a stick on his the man that he was supposed to cover and maybe that was the Kyler Yamamoto goal. That’s what I’m remembering. Oh yeah, that was the fourth goal. But yeah, just was not getting his stick on his man. And even on the rebound that was a little funky. You got to be able to clear the sticks on that. And they were a lot better about doing that in the second. Yeah, absolutely. You got to be you got to be better on your sticks. And that one was on Dickinson, so we’ll we’ll see how it goes. Uh Ricky Barton, Sligger, Furrow absolutely got walked on that breakaway. Haven’t liked his preseason. The newborn’s got to be running ruining his sleep and they it can do that to you. Nothing against the kids and congratulations of course, but that can do that to you a few times. So, uh Jules kind of mentioned it, but the Barracuda did win 3 to2 in Bakersfield for their first preseason uh game on the night. Uh it went to the shootout. Eager turn with the uh gooding goal. Yeah. on that one. Uh Vincent got the tying goal about 6 and 12 minutes into the third. Uh I believe Chernishov also got the tying got the tying goal in the second period as well until uh uh Bakersfield took back the lead later in the period. But nice to see that Ker was in net. Uh good to good to see him get the uh get the victory there. Um, also you also had Matt, you also had Davis in there, 19 or 20 shots. They they kind of tandem it. Uh, so still, uh, each goalie let in one. That’s fine. I I you know uh I I know we were freaking out when Ascrov was losing her mind and we were talking about waiver eligibility, but I’m guessing it would be Kerier that would come into um would be the number three if anything happens to either one of our goalenders. It might be. It might go older. It would be Kier or Scaric. Yeah. So that’s that’s for for that for the CUDA here. So preseason’s done, gang. Thank goodness. Ready? Ready. Yay. Okay. Whippy. Someone clipped that. Oh my god. Um, so we have a super chat. So Darius, $5 super chat. Got some good hopes this year. Not playoff caliber yet, but I see us getting back soon. By the way, getting Reeves was big. Enforcers are a must. Um, I completely agree. Not I I’m kind of surprised it was Reeves, but Well, you know, I I hear that there might be another bruiser on the market if we really want. Oh, jeez. Going after Graves. Really? Uh, still seeing some some uh I’m screwed with that. The Graves. No, we’re not grabbing Graves. Hey guys, let’s make our defense worse. From Pashelka, Warsovski said he’ll finalize his starting goalie for the season opener Thursday against Vegas the day before. Don’t be surprised if it’s Nadulkovich. Uh still over the course of the season, I would expect a 50/50 split in starts between Nadulkovic and Ascarov. Yeah. Um 1 A1B. Yeah. Uh from Max Miller, Warsovski on Sam Dickinson. I thought Dicki was just okay. I thought he struggled a little bit moving pucks, which is to be expected. The kid has been going has been through the ringer here for three weeks and with the rookie tournament starting back in the travel, he’ll be fine. We’ll just continue to work with him. just was a little off tonight. Yeah, I mean he played, I think, what almost every preseason game but one. So, does that mean he’s at least getting nine? I think he’s get I he gets nine easily. Um like I think he has to get nine, right? I I I didn’t like the last two games he was fine, but like uh I didn’t fully watch the Vegas game, but from what I heard he didn’t do anything super atrocious. Um but like you know he he should get nine and so should Misa. I think they both have done enough to to get to get on the roster. Yeah. Um I know somebody put in chat you know with with the contract situation not being a thing uh you know between Luca Kagnon and and Dickinson. Honestly I think they both make the roster anyways. It’s going to be a very not unfortunately that roster Ricky’s right to his certain extent. Unfortunately, you know, I I Hey, Tyler, I completely agree with you. I thought Kenyon had a great training camp in preeason. I think the logistics of if Sam Dickinson was able to go down to the AHL, maybe you give him that. But because he’s not that, there’s a decision to be made. And let’s be honest here with how the fourth line contributed tonight, there’s a big decision to make going in. I mean there there will be waiver um there’ll be waiver uh they’ll be exposing to waivers is what I’m trying to say. easy for me to talk, right? Um, you know, but you’re gonna have to figure out your bottom six and figure out completely. The the tough part is is yeah, we didn’t see a full lineup, NHL lineup, right? So, we really don’t know what you’re going to have for a third and fourth line. Um, but now that the preseason’s over, let’s I’m going to predictions. We’re going to do all kinds of predictions or prognostications here. Okay. No. So, can’t wait to hang on. Yeah. Right. So, number one, the first guy to get called up from the Cuda will be who? Cardwell. I’m sorry, who? Ethan Cardwell. Cardwell. [Music] Yeah. I mean, if he’s not already on the roster by the time the cuts are made, then yeah, absolutely. Cardwell would be the first. Yeah. All right. Who’s getting exposed to waiverss before Wednesday? I would think uh Dear, Title, Andrea, Carl Grundstrom. I don’t disagree with any of those, but uh depending on if we want to keep Jack Thompson, we still need to cut another defenseman. And that’s the big thing. And the same thing with Dickinson, too. Uh with what Ian and I were talking about last night on After Dark, if you’re keeping Dickinson, then you gota, you know, cut two demon. Yeah. And I don’t know what you’re going to do on that. Well, I mean, bring the question back up. Has Lety really shown that he deserves to stay on the Sharks? I mean, we picked him up off of waiverss already. He He might be also another one. Like, he’s a good skater, but that’s pretty much all he has is that skating ability. But when he has the puck, he makes some weird [ __ ] decisions, dude. Uh, like I’d rather have Dickinson over him most days of the week. Um, like Nick Lety could be a really good guy for the Cuda and I I don’t think anyone would pick him up. And I think if because one of the biggest issues that Dickensson really has right now is I’ve not seen this foot speed with him and if we really need somebody that can just skate to make up for that. I’m sorry, just pair him with pair him with somebody like Kagnon. Kagnon will absolutely skate people through the through the bench. Real quick, Ricky saying we need Letty’s cap and it’s fine now that we have Price. Yeah, that’s a crazy sentence to say in my head, but um Right. But at the same time, if we do another fire sale at the deadline, that could be very interesting. Fire sale. I think some of these guys are going to stick around. Some may, but I don’t I don’t know if all of them will. Not enough to I think reach the limit. That’s my point. People been talking about us trading Wenberg. I actually don’t see it. I think he stays. Uh, I think we actually extend Skinner out of everyone. And I know you’re going to hate that because for those of you who don’t know, Tyler loves Jeff Skinner. Um, sorry, Pucka. Go ahead. Anyways, all right. Finish this sentence. Mlin CBrini will blank and keep it in good taste. Both of you will be named the cat. Rocket Rashard in three years after Tofoley. Okay, Jules, see you first. Melbrini will be the captain of the seam in three years and Tyler Tofoley will give him the like they’ll do a whole thing where to gives him the captaincy in like three years and it’ll be a whole big thing and they’ll make a bobblehead out of it. Tyler, oh my god, stop it. I don’t know about the bobblehead, but To fully will be crying as like my little boy’s growing up. Every father dreams of the day he gets to pass it on to his son. They’ll bring out milk and cookies. Okay, go ahead. They’ll have a sleepover to announce it. All right. Sorry. Um I think Minbury is going to be a point per game this year. I I think it’ll easily clear a point per game. He’ll average a point per game and then three three years he’ll be the captain with a big old ceremony from Tyler to Foley. Okay. And a bobblehead and bobblehead. And a bobblehead and milk and cookies. That sounded weird. Okay. Uh I say he at least gets to 90 points this year and wears an A. I agree with the A. Yeah, he’ll be on leadership. Gotcha. He doesn’t have the C. He’s got an A. That I don’t even think that So does Eklland. My Well, is this the next question? Who’s the leadership team? No, because you just calm down, Miss Chaos. Coffee. That’s the third question. Oh my god. That’s the fourth question. I I’m just I’m just so glad I I had had a rundown and it just went with the I like to talk about my hockey team. Okay, next question. The San Jose Sharks will have between blank to blank wins this season. I’m giving you a time. I’m giving you a a range. Let’s and keep it within Let’s say let’s keep it in within five. 30. I’m going to say 32 wins. You I’m going to go 35 to 41. So, you think they could play get to 500? I think they can get to 500. They’re not going to make the playoffs. They’re not a playoff team. I’m not saying that. Don’t come at me, Ian Reed. I’m just saying 35 to 41. I would not be surprised if it was lower, though. I think we’re going to have the same issue of we’ll have like 32 wins, but oh my god, can we stop having one goal losses like in overtime? That might be the case. I think we are actually going to still have that issue of not being able to finish out games and we keep getting like overtime losses. So, we got 32 wins and then like the other 20 games are all onegoal losses. I say 22 to 27. No, I dated it back. 24 to 29 victories on the season for the Sharks. Uh kind of going off of what Tyler said because you guys are just like I didn’t even show you a script, but whatever. Uh, the Sharks will have X amount of one-goal losses. Oh my god, this is [ __ ] [ __ ] a. Okay. Um, I would have liked to prepare for this. Um, okay. Okay. Is it just losses or do you want one goal games? Onegoal losses. One goal losses. I think it’s going to be count. Sorry. Onegoal losses. Oh, [ __ ] Okay. Go ahead, Tyler. Tyler, you said what? 18. 18. 22. So, still close to close to half a 22. That’s like a little over a quarter. California cruiser. This podcast is scripted. I know this medium so well. I know exactly what he’s going to ask. Yes, this podcast is scripted that because they Puckeye would allow me to do this. Just wait till holiday uh stream because I know what I’m going to wear already. I open a show. I’m so glad we don’t have a Halloween game this year. Okay. Um what’s your next question, Pap? The next question is, and it is October 4th, 2025. You’re way too early. Stanley Cup final matchup. Oh [ __ ] Show. [ __ ] Um, I’m glad she’s got a sailor mouth, you know. Coming at you live from Charlotte, North Carolina. Your Carolina Hurricanes are going to make the Stanley Cup playoffs. Well, the finals against I think it’s going to be against somebody like kind of screwy from the uh the West. Um, [ __ ] This is riveting podcasting audio. Yeah, I know. I know. Okay. I think it’s going to be Edmonton again. I think they make it back against against the Carolina Hurricanes. So, Edmonton Carolina rematch of ‘ 06, Tyler, I I just love the idea. Is is Edmonton going to do the same thing to themselves they do to LA where they just get knocked out four times in a row? All my less and less games. I’m gonna say it’s going to be Carolina versus Oh, let’s go weird and say Anaheim. Real weird. Carolina Anaheim. What did you The West is a mess. It really is. Wait. Carolina Anaheim. Wait, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up. You think Anaheim is going to make the cup final? Not really, but I don’t think that there’s any team from the West that’s a guarantee. Like the West is really it’s it’s it’s in a weird space right now. You I mean I think it can be a crapshoot for anything and I’m seeing like a guy and his dogs. Dallas Tampa. I mean it could be that. Well, boy howdy. We’ll talk about Tampa, Florida in a sec. Oh yeah. Um Dallas, Detroit. I’m not high on Dallas this year. I think they’re gonna regress. They added hold. Okay, never mind. I’m just saying. I can’t I don’t I’m not gonna I mean, you could also say that like look at uh look at Colorado. They’ve added players and I still don’t think they’re going to be making it back to the finals again. Next question. Puck guy. Uh Ricky’s mentioning Dallas, Edmonton, Colorado, Vegas only contenders in my opinion. Vegas. I I I I I don’t know with like Vegas is like I think all those teams are flawed. I really do. I forgot Vegas existed when I make my cup final prediction. Um just you want you want pure chaos here. Vegas versus Toronto. Toronto. Oh my god. Maratch Steve Dangle. How would you I’m going to attack him and ask him. That’s what I was dreaming for last year was uh Ranton getting to face both of his former teams. It didn’t happen unfortunately. So, and and and of course we’re talking about teams in Pacific where it’s probably easy. You look at the Central where five teams could be in the playoffs. A six could probably be in it and they’re they’re sitting back home because of the the the three teams in the Pacific have to make the playoffs. I mean, you know, Utah’s on the up, Colorado’s on the up, you know, Dallas is already there. I mean, it’s just it’s just crazy. So, Utah could be a real sleeper, to be honest. I mean, I know we were talking about it while we were watching the game. Just adding JJ Purka did so much to that lineup. Oh, big time. All right, next question. La last question. The captain of the sharks be Tyler Tfully with Ecklund Celibbrini Ferraro. A little closer to the mic. I start Oh, sorry. The cap the future captain of the sharks will be Tyler Toi with a leadership group of Celibbrini, Ecklund, Ferraro, and Wenberg. Tyler, I’m gonna be part of the group that says that Cabbrini is going to get named captain. All right. So, you’re saying captain CBrine. Jules is saying going to get it done now. I get it. I don’t see it yet. I I think he still needs to too young. No, I don’t I don’t think it’s necessarily that he’s young because we’ve seen like Landiskog get it. And I mean, didn’t uh didn’t McDavid get it around this time? He got it within I think the third year. So I I could see it down the road. So it it’s possible. I I just think he still has that that shyness to him still. You know, but then again, Sydney Cross, he had an A his second season. By season 3, he had the C. Um I I think they’re going to start with the A with Cell Brainy and then in like four years it’ll be a leadership group of Celebriny, Smith, Dickinson, Misa, Ecklund. Um yeah, I pretty much agree exactly with uh your leadership group. I do think that’s going to end up being the the general team. It’s just, you know, who exactly gets what. Yeah, I I think I think to Foley is the captain. Uh, you give an A to Ekki, you give an A to Ferraro. I think you’re probably going to give one to Good Row. Uh, if he’s still on this team, uh, you can probably give one to Cabbrini, but um, and responding to AO12345. Love it. McDavid might be McDavid, but I’m sorry, Cabbrini is the McDavid of this team. Oh, yeah. So, and I can’t wait for them announce Barkley Goodro tomorrow, Chris. Oh my god. Chris, put it in the chat. Okay, I’ll give you one I’ll give you one final one and then we’ll we’ll wrap this up. Okay. Because Conor McDavid is a member of this team at the deadline and this team come this time next year. Okay. I don’t like this. Go ahead. I I think McDavid’s going to sign a bridge. I heard somebody in the past talk about how he’s going to sign a bridge that takes until the end of Dry Cidle’s contract and then they’re both going to leave. So, you’re you’re saying he stays with Edmonton? Yeah. For more years, like two more years or something like that. McDavid signs with the Detroit Red Wings. The Detroit Red Wings. So, is he remain an Oiler at the deadline? The Oilers lose him for nothing. We’re going to see some real uh New York Islander energy. Again, I have that that’s just what like my first thought was is Detroit. I don’t know why. I just wanted something spicy and like they’re going to have a buttload of cap space. Jules, real uh dark horse Detroit Redwing fan. I’m just saying like they have ASP coming up. Uh, Simon Edmonson. Uh, like uh what’s his face? Oh my god. What’s the guy’s name? Morett Cider. Uh, Raymond Lur. Like, you’re telling me a onew punch of Lin and Nick David with playing like on Raymond Wing or I I don’t know. I just I have a weird feeling Detroit’s going to do something dumb next off season. I I like that idea, but I like it at the deadline for Detroit. But I’m gonna say, and it’s going to give PTSD to longtime Edmonton Oilers fans, they betrayed McDavid to LA. Oh, that was my other one. They can’t they can’t sign him and he becomes a San Jose Shark this time next year. So Oh, Felix, thank you. That’s my goal in life. So, hey, Elliot Freriedman, start tag guys. Start tagging Elliot Friedman with what I say, man. No. No. Oh, no. No. All right. Yes. And Felix would is saying, “Freeman would love the level of spice in of this.” Yes, dude. I bring the spice. Leave I’m going to leave that right there. In case you missed anything or you want to watch this again, check us out on tealtownusa.com or your favorite podcast uh catcher. I I I won’t I won’t be surprised if it goes at least two hours, but uh that’s probably more, but that’s my point. So with that, we will wrap things up. Final thoughts from you, Mr. Tyler. Final thoughts. Um, let’s see. The sharks. Good night, everyone. Okay. Okay. Go. My favorite. The Sharks are not going to be in the conversation for McKenna this year. I know a lot of people have been I’ve seen so many video videos talking about how they’re not going to change that much, but with the amount of teams that are truly regressing, the Sharks are going to be getting more points just because their opponents aren’t as strong as they were last year. So, I mean, as much as Yeah, the team may not be as strong as we hope at the beginning of the year, it’s not going to be as anywhere near as bad as it has been in past years. That is netfront presence for you. And and the cat’s right there. And the cat Oh, hang on. Well, it’s not Jules. Hang on. There you go. The cat’s up there. He’s asleep. No cat fight on this edition tonight. Jules, your final thoughts? Uh, I think the Sharks will be better than what people are giving them credit for. Um, I think Misa, Dickinson are all going to make the team and I think we’re going to see a pretty young team this year. Um, I don’t know how young, but um, they’re going to be young. They’re going to be fun, and I think they’ll finish higher than we think. All right, says the one who says they could get at least 41 wins on the campaign. Going to age horridly, but it’s fine. I said the Anaheim Ducks make the finals. Oh, I would do a face palm right now, but let’s not. Um, final thoughts. Hey gang, we’re ready to roll. Season number 35 for the San Jose Sharks.
