  2. With all the attention surrounding that Taylor Swift song about Travis Kelce, I just realized that Andy Reid – having previously drafted both Nick Foles and Chris Jones – seems to have an uncanny ability to find guys whose private parts become subject to public scrutiny.

    Between that and Brett Veach always getting guys with hyphenated names it seems like if you’re a decently proportioned man with a bunch of last names you should just go an try out for the Chiefs.

  4. Stress free Sunday of football after watching KU win a clencher last night. I’ll probably put Texans/Ravens and Chargers/Commanders on in the background while doing chores.

  7. We were shopping at our neighborhood Whole Foods here in NYC yesterday, my 11-year-old daughter wearing a Mahomes jersey, when a well-dressed guy walked past and in an angry tone said, “Go Jaguars!” Looking at my daughter, still sounding angry, he said, “You guys are gonna get whacked.”
    In a voice full of good cheer, I said, “Good luck!” Boy did that piss him off. “Whacked!” He said again.
