Richard Jefferson: “Seth [Curry] and Thanasis [Antetokounmpo] have some job security. I’m just gonna put it out there”

  1. Literally only in the league because of who they’re related to, meanwhile guys like Bronny James had to make it out the mud

  2. Not the same seth is an elite shooter crazy how rich disrespected him like that

  3. You get job security from being a 10year vet who plays a role disrespectful to talk like he’s getting the James Jr treatment.

  4. Idk, Curry led the league in 3pt% last season and it wasn’t Steph…

old man Steph might actually be the beneficiary from having a brother in the league /s

  5. These dudes out here on free rides while Keljin Blevins had to carve out his own path

  6. Seth is actually a solid role player lol. Thanasis is literally a cheerleader

  7. This is some wife of (insert man name) here even though she is accomplished as well type bs. Absolutely disrespectful not even close to the same shit

  8. You got Bronny on that court, man. Might want to throw him into that conversation.

  9. Richard Jefferson is insufferable. Does ESPN not know how to hire talent that aren’t dickheads?

  10. Ok, asides that Seth is playing with his brother for the first time and is a serviceable role player, go put Bronny’s job security out there then while you are at it

  11. Richard Jefferson thinks he’s funny when he’s really corny. Gonna put it out there

  12. I think he thinks he’s cute, but RJ needs to man up and speak plainly. Could be right, but If you’re gonna go after careers, grow a nutsack and don’t mince words. I’ll be waiting for him to say the same about Bronny..

  13. Seth has played in 10+ years in the NBA playing for 9 teams while shooting 43.3% of 4.0 3PA in his career.

Thanasis would not have had an NBA career without his brother Giannis and the Bucks placating him by signing and keeping his brother around for 5 straight seasons.

Seth actually has a useful NBA skill set that most teams value.

  14. This is so disrespectful to Seth Curry. Dude has game and he can shoot. Plenty of teams would be thrilled with Seth Curry on their roster. Tons.

  15. He would know. He somehow found a roster spot after disrupting spurs and warriors playoff runs and somehow still finding a spot on playoff teams.

  16. The disrespect towards Seth is crazy. He EARNED his position in the NBA and, on top of that, he has remained a super humble and chill person without an ounce of jealousy while his brother chased greatness. He’s the last person in the NBA who should be catching strays.

  17. * Thanasis washing out of the NBA after playing 3 career minutes and then barely hanging on as a rotation player in the Greek League before the Bucks bringing him back to the NBA for 6 guaranteed years of contracts

    * Seth signs with the Warriors on a preseason contract after 11 years in the league.

Jefferson: are these the same thing? (While ignoring the actual nepo case on the court because it’s his buddy’s son)

  18. Brain dead take. Seth’s played 550 games, averaged 22 MPG, started half those games, in the playoffs his MPG go up and did it all without his brother. He carved his own path and had a career he can be proud of and it’s really cool he gets to end his career playing alongside Steph.

  19. If the warriors did not get Seth there would still be teams willing to sign him for at least a vet minimum, Thanasis on the other hand… How the heck did he came up with this comparison? Haha

  20. That’s a dumb comparison, Seth has been a really good role player throughout his career…even without Steph, he’ll be in the league, can’t say the same for Thanasis

  21. This is a brain dead comparison.

Seth Curry is a fucking baller dude. Been in the league for a decade and this is the first time he’s been on Steph’s team. Started 224 games in his career for several franchises gtfo.

  22. Richard Jefferson is a dipshit and bad broadcaster. Seth has had an actual nba career

  23. Weirdly disrespectful to an accomplished NBA player like Seth Curry. Yes, he’s not his brother but he’s been a very serviceable, borderline 6th man player for most of his career. He’s not to be put in the same conversation as Thanasis or Bronny James

  24. Lumping Seth in with Thanasis is insane. Does he not know ball? Seth is a pretty decent role player. Thanasis is literally only in the league because of Giannis

  25. Seth has had seasons averaging 15/3/4 on 50/40 splits and 15 on 50/47 splits, he’s been a legitimate NBA player for ten years and at his best was a starter level player. He’d have made the NBA regardless of Steph. Comparing him to Thanasis is crazy

  26. Everyone gave shit to Doris , rightfully so but RJ was as bad imo. He’s a homer and has mega narrative bias. He won’t say shit to bronny but his lips will get at the knees for anything LBJ/bronny pulls their pants down for
