Jets LIFELESS 0-5 Start To The Season Might Have Officially Killed BT
I had season tickets for a couple of the years. I was a lunatic when I used to go to these games. I’m still a lunatic to an extent, but I I just don’t know how much more I have in me. I’m not going to lie to you, man. They are they have just sucked the life out of me slowly but surely. There’s just not a whole lot more to give because they just don’t reciprocate. They just don’t give us anything. They forget about wins. Most of the time they don’t even give you a competitive four quarters. And I just I don’t I don’t know if I want to root for this team anymore. I’m just being totally forthright with you guys, you know. And then and I know that invariably somebody will say, “Well, what are you going to do when the Jets get good and if and when they ever get good?” Well, that’s why I wouldn’t root for another team because I just that that that is against that counter to who I am. I could never do that ever because we all deserve better. It is just a constant stream of pain and endless torture. And I don’t care how resilient we are or how unkillable we are. There you go. I mean, we all have a threshold where it’s just like the anger subsides and you’re just like, “Yeah, I’m I’m good. Good. I don’t I don’t really need these these guys anymore.
The Jets never ending disaster class to start this season has caused BT to reevaluate his fandom of them

Which of these teams did you actually think the Jets would beat before the season started? We all thought the Jets would be 1-4 right now, okay they're 0-5 with the Miami loss which we all thought was a toss-up game beforehand. 0-5 is a disappointment, but it's not earth shattering either.
As a Giants fan, I’m grateful for the 2 greatest SB wins a fan could ask for. But I feel you BT this is becoming unbearable.
This is the only team in professional sports that I can think of that does the same shit over and over and over again expecting a different result.
As a Dolphin fan, I feel the same way about my team. Remember decades ago when the Dolphins-Jets games were shootouts, back and forth? Both teams are so down and out. I have 1% of the interest that I used to. Can watch this garbage. Hope we both get better play down the road!

It’s just not worth it. We get nothing back. I been a Met and giants fan 40 years and the giants were great for a while but last decade now?? It’s watchable. And the Mets have just ruined life over n over. They are the bane of my existence. Endless support. And absolutely zero back for it from them. Idk how anyone does jets n Mets. God help you. Why bother watching sports at that point.

I always said I could never jump ship on my fandom for the teams I root for but I gotta say if there’s one team I think it might be acceptable for it’s the New York jets im 33 years old aside from the 2 Rex years they have been really really bad my whole life. And it’s actually gotten progressively worse every year. Which is kinda impressive in its own right.
I feel this 1,000 percent! The Jets drain you of everything you have and after a while, it just becomes to much! I would never root for another team as well but I don’t know how much longer I can deal with this BS either. I’ve been a die-hard Jets fan since 1982. Enough is enough!
I followed Darnold to the Vikes last year and the Hawks this year. It's so neat watching well coached teams.
