How you doing? Hello. How are you? Good, good, good, good to see you again. I’m Jared. Nice to meet you. Obviously, not only did you get minutes playing well in the game Friday, what what was working for you uh Friday night in terms of you getting the shot? Yeah, just thought that uh guys were setting me up well and I felt like our offense had a good like continuity to say it so early and uh just Yeah, that’s about it. Were you surprised of that continuity cuz I mean I know you guys have had some time. Yeah. Together. Not really honest. Honestly, because we’ve been here all summer, it didn’t even feel like any switch from training camp to what we were doing right before that because we were just in here so much. So, it’s kind of expected a little bit. Yeah. Only thing I have was saw Jaylen in the pregame workout. Yeah, he was loud up pretty good. Uh what have you seen through him in camp and and how close you think he I think he’s super close. Yeah, I think he’s super close. Next uh next up, China. I know that the team’s been preparing for this, the sleep schedules, all of that, but what can a trip like this do just the team camaraderie, spending time together and building that chemistry off the court? Yeah, I think it’s a beautiful thing just for the experience of just like me. I’ve never been to China and I know a lot of guys haven’t been to China, so experiencing something new with your guys is going to just be a bonding moment like you said and uh I’m excited and we just get to compete out there, play the same team twice, which is like a middle mini playoff series or whatever you want to call it. So, I like it. Have you been preparing your body at all before this trip? I I am tonight. I’m going to go to sleep a little bit later tonight and uh you know when I get to China, wake up, put my eyes in the sun, get get in. Yeah, that’s about it. What What do they have you doing on on the plane just with the sleep specialists? I think they’re I think they’re treating us like babies a little bit. Cutting the lights on when we need to be up and turning lights off when we needed to sleep. So, and I’m just looking forward to it. As someone that’s been around for a few years in the league with a couple different teams, like what do you see as the next evolution for you or the next progression to try to uh make a name for yourself in the league? Um high level defender, efficient score, efficient playmaker. I rather say that just making sure I can get my guys involved and take it there when it’s my turn um efficiently. So that’s I think those three things. What’s kind of been your impression of playing with Kaman out there? you know, especially, you know, we had a few good possession there. I think he puts his personality in the game so well, and I love that about him. How long is the flight? Did they take like 13 hours? Yeah. Japan. How long is that? How long is Japan? Japan is like 9 hours, but it’s weird. And you fly over the pole, you don’t fly across the ocean. And uh you said North Pole. You didn’t say North Pole, did you? North. That’s what they do. They go down. You come and then you’re over the international date line. though the date changes and then you come back, it’s the same day. It’s like Groundhog’s Day, right? Same day over. Same day over again. It’s strange. Looking forward to it. Yeah. All right. Thanks, man. Good luck with everything. Thank you, sir.
