Now let’s beat the Bro

  1. The point differentials are amazing. We’re at the top with a -2. But the rest are (respectively) -71, -36, and -50. This division is a mess.

  2. Hard to believe the AFC North is the worst division in the NFL. So many years when it was tough, and no other division has placed 3 teams in the playoffs. So I guess as long as we win the division and (dare I hope) get a home wild card game, maybe we can win one. Finally

  3. I wouldn’t get too excited yet. The Ravens are capable of getting their shit together and the Steelers are capable of getting worse rather than better as the season progresses. The early bye is not our friend. Cautious optimism here.

  4. Have you all NOT seen the way Tomlin teams play down to inferior opponents? I bet we drop at least one the bengals this years.

  5. And look at the steelers scoring less points than we allow lol. Glad that doesmt mean much

  6. Let’s not get too cocky just yet fellas

Not to long ago we dropped games to Baily Zappe and DTR. We’re in a good spot but the Steelers are the Steelers

  7. Who remembers being 8-2 last year, then pissing it all away with 6 straight losses and getting utterly embarrassed by the Ravens in the playoffs.

    Pepperidge Farm remembers…….

  8. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, there are a ton of games yet to play. We do seem to be on a slight upward trajectory in terms of playing quality which hopefully bodes well for the rest of the seasons.

Having said that, given the thin margins among the top 25 or so teams in the NFL, I see keeping healthy as important as playing well. We almost blew the game vs the Vikings when we ran out of CBs, despite dominating the first 3 quarters. It’s just a case of luck to a great extent frankly.

  9. 3-1 and we’ve been out scored on the season lol. Jeebus the Bengals have been outscored by 71 with a 2-3 record? That’s crazy!

  10. Let’s not get cocky. We aren’t exactly lighting the league on fire or anything.

  11. Steelers never put themselves in good situations or comfy leads. I hope im wrong but i could see them fucking this up the good thing is you can prolly win this division at 9-8

  12. This is the kind of post that can really come back to haunt you. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves

  13. I will say, I did see a little bit of a spark in the offense of Cleveland that has me a bit worried for that game. Judkins can obviously play, and if Gabriel can keep turnovers down, I could see the Browns game being a classic trap game. The bengals though…nuff said.

  14. Play Renegade and twirl those terrible towels!

  15. I am enjoying the optimism around here, and trying to appreciate and live in the moment, but I can’t help feel like I’ve seen/heard this story before with the Steelers.

  16. I can’t be the only female in this sub. I was glued to my TV for all divisional games (I have NFL Sunday ticket because my Steelers are out of market), and the Bills’ meltdown.

Though I don’t mind being one of the boys, can I get a little love? Any other fanatical females out there?

  17. Unfortunately, Incoming L to the browns. Downvote me but it is what we are used to
