Just missed it Padres

  1. Seems a bit ungracious.
I’m glad we got the benefit of the call, glad we moved on, I hold no ill will towards the Padres.

    On to the Brewers.

  2. That’s such an egregious call. Damn when you see it like this, that’s a rough way to factor in a season ending.

  3. Everyone so focused on the bad call(it was) is missing the frame job by Kelly. Dude snapped that glove into the zone so fast.

  4. I mean, it’s low, not a strike, it happens, but it’s also over the plate. If it was outside the zone and low, ok then egregious. Pads, and their fans, are acting like it bounced up there, or was a foot outside the zone.

  5. This is being judged by the box on the screen, not where his knees were. The strike zone starts at his knees.

  6. The call was probably wrong. But down 2 in the 9th with 2 strikes, dont expect the zone to contract.

  7. Folks… This is meant to be a joke. A Ha-Ha, a meme if you will. If you think it is in bad taste, maybe go see how several Padre players physically went after the Umpires as the game ended. This pitch and the Yankees pitching lights out is the only thing being talked about on MLB radio. The Human component of the game makes it great. Just like Pete should have been safe on the steal and was called out. Shit happens.

  8. 1984’s revenge! I actually broke up with a cute guy I was dating back then, because he brought me a “Cubs crying towel” and gently made fun of the Cubs. (Plus he was a lousy kisser.)

I told him to leave. He was incredulous I was serious.
