Will be interesting what will happen when Ritchie comes back. I’d be ok keeping Ritchie and setting MacLean packing. We need more skill. Getting 12 minutes a game with some pp time is not bad for Cal.
Basically exactly as expected. Did Palms have an A before? I can’t remember. I know Nelson was one so is he replacing Brock?

Schaefer’s ovation on opening night is going to be insane
I’ll be there Thursday in Pittsburgh. Can’t wait to see Schaefer and shabanov skate their rookie laps!
Not thrilled about Rittich as our backup.
Wondering if this means Schaefer makes it past the 9-game tryout. I figured he’d make the ON roster, but really unsure this is a lock for the season for him.
How many games do we expect Rittich to play this season
I would love to see Barzal w the A soon.
Probably not a cup winning roster yet, imo… but a good step forward. Time will tell… Barzy for a whole season is big. Excited for hopefully a full season of Schaefer and Shabanov as well. Also interested to see what impact Heineman, Ritchie (at some point), and a healthy Duclair can bring.
Shabanov is certainly one to watch
I *totally* forgot about Ethan Bear – did he get injured before training camp??
