PSA: To everybody who posts this week “this should be an easy one/Ravens are way down/cant wait to beat these guys/their team is injured/etc.” please go fuck yourself in advance.
Because you continually fail to learn your lesson about how the NFL works, and I’m tired of hearing it. The more cornered or “”counted out” a team is, the better they will play. Period.
This will be an extremely tough game to win, I don’t care if the Ravens are 0-16. They always play tough football, and Lamar Jackson is Lamar Jackson (if he plays). He has torn us a new one in the past and certainly has the ability to do it again this Sunday. I don’t care how “down” he is this year. And if he doesn’t play it will be even harder because the rest of the team will play even harder and more focused to compensate.
And then you’ll come on here afterwards with the kneejerk bullshit saying “WTF!?! We were ‘supposed’ to beat them bad! WTF is ‘wrong’ with us??” All because you set way too high expectations in your head for an NFL opponent.
Both teams coming in with something to prove. It’s still hard for me to believe the Ravens are as bad as they look. Regardless, even if they come out this week playing like they did against the Browns, it’s our game to lose.
Rams need this win but so do the ravens. Hoping they can take care of business now that there was a long rest in between.
Supposedly there is a chance Lamar comes back for this game. That would be a nightmare scenario, but the rams seem to play down to competition so I’m wonder if Lamar being there will actually force them to play better.
We can beat anybody and lose to anybody. Not much to say other than the team has to execute
BIRD GAUNTLET REDEMPTION
I know Lamar is the big one, but they are (or were) missing a lot of key players.
I always tell people, “The downside of loving a football team from a city of actors is that every play is a production.”
Let’s see if we can tone the drama down this week and just play good football.
You cannot underestimate anyone in this league and it will certainly be a tough game, with or without Lamar.
I think this game will tell us a lot about how McVay and the team respond to two tough losses in the last 2 of 3 games. Go on the road in a tough environment, clean up avoidable mistakes, and execute.
Ravens coach is tricky. Beware!
Another week where I’m desperate to wash the bad taste of a loss out of my mouth. When we win, I’m rewatching highlights all week and feeling so excited about the team. After a loss, I can’t bring myself to watch anything.
I think we should be able to handle business with Lamar in the game. Their defense is pretty bad at the moment (Ofcourse, cannot underestimate)
Idc If it’s Lamar or Cooper Rush we can lose this game Lock in rams
Let’s just support our team! Don’t expect too much but also don’t take away his good this team could be. Just enjoy the games!
