Lightning claim forward Curtis Douglas off waivers | Tampa Bay Lightning. Thoughts on the pick up?

imagine if Matt Rempe actually threw bombs
before everyone just calls him a goon, he’s put up points and not looked useless in every league he’s played – the idea he’d only be useful as a fighter might be a tad premature – especially if he still finishes checks and screens goalies, chews up clock in the other team’s zone

It’s kind of ironic because Utah’s roster construction is definitely inspired by Tampa. Which means they don’t really have an enforcer and it’s a lot of skill guys. I’m sure they would’ve loved to keep him but Tampa definitely needs to be smart about when to call him up if they do

I feel like there’s a shift in the NHL happening where the enforcer type player is coming back.
I like this pick up. Always nice too have more ammo for those physical games.
The Atlantic is going to be a bloodbath this year.
