Good claim, I’m very happy to see him get a chance over rolling Georgiev while UPL is out.
If you also had no idea who he is, he’s 25 years old. Third round pick in 2019. No NHL experience. Has played 67 AHL games and 82 in the ECHL. Save percentages of .922 and .924 the last two seasons in Springfield.
Are we going back to 2014-15 where we dressed like 80 goalies?
I don’t know. Adams has the past 5 years to find a starting goalie and we are still relying on picking backups off waivers a week before the opener to find a starter. I don’t understand how this fan base is largely ok with this.

Lyon/Fourgiev opening night tandem is frightening.
Please free Devon Levi. I like the Sabres but I am a Northeastern alum first and I need to see my guy actually given a chance. He had phenomenal underlying numbers in 23-24, had a rough start to 2024-25 and now is the fucking 5th man in the depth chart. An all time goaltender in NCAA history and the best world juniors G ever. Free him pls.

I live in Tulsa, OK and saw Colten play here. Nice dude and CARRIED a bad Oilers team. They were in 3rd in the conference before he was called up to the AHL 3 seasons ago.
They finished out of the playoffs.

I don’t know if you know this. But he played 9 games. You think that’s enough of a sample size? Then you are proving exactly why I want him out. Clearly you agree you don’t want him as a Sabre so what’s the disagreement here.
In further news, the Sabres will be looking to sign any goalie, from anywhere, at any time. These new signings will be used to work concessions, serve as ushers, and to sit in the stands at all home games. These players will be required to be in full goalie gear at all times. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
