  1. I mean even Mikolas was unquestionably working hard to get better. At the end of the day these are all elite athletes with great work ethics. I’ll wait until his results do the talking.

  2. This is a novel concept. I expect us to be World Series contenders next season since we will be working to get even better. Truly incredible

  3. Uhhh. Good? Get great and then we will trade him and wonder why we aren’t winning games

  4. I think McGreevy’s got some smarts and has a real competitor’s attitude, but I fear he’s only got 2 WAR type stuff.

  6. Fantastic news! If getting even better works for McGreevy this season, I expect other Cardinals players will try doing the same during the 2026 offseason. Over the next five years, this concept could take off like wildfire through the whole organization.

  7. I personally get worse at my job everyday. Look at this guy trying to get better! What an overachiever!

  8. Wonder if these professionals will practice a little in the offseason. Next you’ll tell me they’ll be running drills!

  9. Is this state of the Cardinals in 2025? That it’s news one of their players is working to be better next year.

Shouldn’t every player be doing that? Hell.. . Shouldn’t every person be doing this???
