  1. The Jays are just a bad matchup. They don’t strike out and they clobber balls in the zone. It is what it is. As a fan that’s been disappointed since the early 2010s I get used to this. The thing that gave me hope in this series is the Jays pitching is dog shit and no Bitchette. We’ve made Gausman and that one kid look like cy young candidates.

  2. Agreed, if they think the Jays are cheating then you’re gonna have to provide your theory there. It is a bit embarrassing to go full conspiracy mode just because the Blue Jays are our daddies this year. Just like it was embarrassing for Blue Jays fans to go full league wide conspiracy mode just because they got some shitty calls

  3. Some fans will do anything BUT acknowledge that Toronto is equal to or better than us. Embarrassing

  4. He is really talking about the YES team – those guys were all hinting around it as were the players….They Yanks have spent ALOT of time this year on the umps and crybaby stuff like this – proof it or move on

  5. I also think the Blue Jays are cheating by being a much better baseball team than the Yankees are this year. No fair!

  6. They’re connecting on practically every pitch, that’s not cheating. The Yankees are playing like these games don’t even matter and they need to get it together.

  7. I haven’t seen fans saying the Blue Jays are cheating… is it really something that’s out there? If so, I don’t get why. They’ve been a better team for us for several months now, and they also have beaten us thoroughly for most of that year. They play to a lot of our weaknesses and have a lot of talent. That’s just all there is to it

  8. I love how the Yankees cant just be worse then them instead were going to ruin there character because we cant handle being bad.

  9. If the jays were cheating, does that impact the utterly embarrassing performance by the lineup against a ROOKIE WITH 4 STARTS TO HIS NAME? The cope is just getting out of hand. Barely beat a toothless Boston lineup and now the jays are doing what they’ve done all year against us. Take the L and move on.

  10. Blue Jays are a hitting team. Apparently their hitting coach is obsessed with hitting and designs improvements based on the batter. Capitalizing on their strengths.

  11. Michael Kay is cheating by only dying the top of his head, but you don’t hear the hair around the sides complaining.

  12. Doubt they are and shitty excuse fans are using. They’re just a lot better.

Would be amazing if years later we found out they had a guy in a hotel room with a telescope spying on pitches. And then somehow relaying them to the batters.

  13. Non Yankee fans give a lot of shit to Kay for his bias toward the Yankees (duh) and some some of his takes. But this is a very level take. Good job Kay

  14. Some anonymous person on the Internet says the Blue Jays are cheating and everybody else is supposed to care?

  15. I don’t think they are cheating, but for a while there I was like “They have somehow hacked into the Yankees’ pitch-com.” Freid just doesn’t get shelled like that. I’ve actually thought about that since the whole pitch-com thing began. It’s just a matter of time before teams are gonna have hackers monitoring every frequency channels that pitch-com uses. It’s unavoidable. Yes, they are probably also encrypted. But that’s never fucking stopped anybody from trying.

  16. They’re cheating. Boone is done if we don’t win the next 3. Enough is enough.

  17. I really don’t think Fried was intimating that they were cheating by saying they “were on” his pitches. He has said that in past as well. I think he was just giving them credit for the most part and owning it. However, they were hitting pitches out of the zone, low, high, outside, I think he was just very frustrated by that as he normally gets a lot of whiffs on similar pitches.

But a few teams, not many, have figured him out over the years, primarily Dodgers and Phillies. Add BJs to that list now it seems.

  18. Wait, what “Blue Jays are cheating narrative” first I’ve heard of this lol. The fuck is he talking about, making shit up for content?

  19. Who’s saying that? Sounds completely baseless. We’re just getting our asses kicked.

  20. Jays have sign stealers in the stands (signal hack and visual) who relay the pitch selection to the batter by visual signs. Watch the eyes of the Jays batter while at bat. Eyes darting all over before the pitch arrives.

  21. I love Michael but he is wrong here. He could’ve said the exact same thing about the Astros in the past. It took years to figure out how they were cheating.

  22. I would say all these shit we talking about is because of Houston got damn light punishment for their cheating. If they got hit hard, nobody would think any other team is dare to cheating.
Otherwise, if they ever doubted the cheating, Yankees would have noticed already. We as a fan, don’t want to admit it that they can hit this better at home vs away.
For me just guessing that some swing and miss I thinkI saw was a fastball which located bad by pitcher. Otherwise, they were never biting any off-speed pitches. That’s where I’m curious. I don’t know how they can do it, maybe pitchcom can be hacked and that is relayed to the batter? Something like flashing light somewhere in the center field?

But either way, this is all fucking Houston’s fault that I’m paranoid and can’t trust shit!!!!!
