This is why game tape matters when drafting and not just pure measurables
He’s been living up to the hype
Someone needs to post the Will Campbell apology form so I can sign and send it.
Happy to have been wrong
He started at LT since his freshmen year at an SEC school and consistently went up against future first round NFL talent… plus his dog mentality is exactly what this team needed
Guy has been invisible the last few weeks, which is perfect
*let also not forget Jared Wilson from Georgia that moved to LG.. gotta give him
Praise
This was his toughest test yet and he pretty much aced it. Kid is becoming a stud LT week in and week out and he plays with a nasty streak I haven’t seen from a lineman on this team since Logan Mankins.
Campbell and Wilson have been awesome to start the year
Thought he allowed 0.5 sacks?
Between Maye and Campbell, our last 2 drafts are a success regardless of how the other picks pan out.
He’s better than I hoped he would be and he’s a rookie. Doug Marrone deserves a lot of credit as well and what a difference a good offensive line can make.
The dude is a stud. He will only improve. To have a left tackle and a quarterback on rookie deals to grow together is an absolute beauty.
Wow turns out the best lineman in the draft was the best lineman in the draft lmao 😂
Before the draft I preferred Travis Hunter. I’m a clown.
This goes back to the Keegan Michael-Key clip on the Edelman podcast. Look at the Lions. They draft “football” players. Players who put their heart and soul into how the play versus “players who fit specific intangibles”.
Feels like everyone was so focused on his arms that between what he was saying in interviews, how he was playing at LSU, etc. was lost.
Now all we need to solidify the line is get a right tackle to teach behind Moses who seems to be a eager mentor for the young guys. Then we are cooking with gas.
How do these stats compare to reality? Drake was scrambling all over the field from pressure, was it simply NOT coming from the left side at all?
I’m willing to die for my QB

Please submit your apology letters, ruler watchers.
That’s our t-rex!
Genuinely idk how anyone could’ve watched Campbell vs verse two years ago and thought he wouldn’t be good
T-Rex 🦖Campbell – my man!
It just occurred to me I didn’t hear Bosas name at all out there lmao
There’s still people that will pound the table that we should have got McMillan and took Ersery in the 2nd.
One of his toughest matchups of the year, Joey’s got one of the fastest bull rushes in the NFL and he was well prepared for it.
Joey Bosa isn’t exactly a great rusher though. Just being fair
I knew he was going to be good.I just didn’t think it was going to be this quickly.
T rex may be considered the most dangerous animal ever…it has tiny arms
Looking forward to the 2026 draft when either the pundits change the LT arm length metric, or, more likely, keep it with the “Unless Your Will Campbell” disclaimer.
In my 40+ years watching NFL football, this is the first time that I tend to focus on the LT when the ball is snapped.

What I imagine all the guys on here criticizing Campbells physical traits look like.
What did he say right after being drafted? “I’m gonna fight and die” .
Very likable. It’s worth noting that about half of first round picks are busts. It’s so important to hit on those picks.
Ok, but mom says i get to make the t-rex joke next week
Related — Anybody know what WR was blocking on Rhamondre’s toss touchdown? One WR was blocking a Bills DB onto the ground deep in the endzone, it was a hell of a block.
There was never any choice besides Campbell. We needed great young O-line guy like Will more than we needed anything. And he’s got a great attitude and will be a team leader for years
Guy was finishing off blocks like a beast. Not mad at the pick. Short arms ain’t nothing if you can get off fast and finish.
Dude is 6’6” and 320 lbs with a 77”+ wingspan (that’s almost 6.5 feet for those tracking)
People acted like he had tiny t-rex arms because they might be 3/8” shorter than the NFL ideal
Skill and technique can more than make up for a being less than half an inch below average.
And don’t I know it.
For those mentioning the 1/2 a sack, that is extremely harsh if not out right wrong to credit to Campbell – he doesn’t get beat and maye runs into the sack
