At the least I appreciate the recognition that there are problems.

Pretty standard template letter to fans.
Money talks John, let’s spend on a SP!
Ah the promises of a World Series. Where have we heard of that before…?
As long as they continue to spend to bring in free agents to fill those holes.

Need more people who can actually hit some balls. It’s been exhausting watching guys get stranded on base. There’s no point even cheering for base hits sometimes.
I like that it says the postseason exposed the weaknesses. If they can actually assess them correctly it should be a great 2026
Weaknesses we saw all season. 24th offensively. Sorry but we got to the playoffs almost purely off the backs of our pitching staff.
I can actually appreciate the tone of this letter and hopefully some changes are made in the coaching staff, particularly a new hitting coach and third base coach.
Manny Ramirez looking for a hitting coach job in the MLB 🤔
Throw the bag at a 1B that can slug and a frontline starting pitcher and we’ll see.
Chat gpt all the way
Note to everyone for next year. Don’t get hyped up for shit. Regardless if AJ pulls a crazy trade that looks favorable to us or not or if we magically sign that huge bat free agent.
This offseason will be the determining factor on how he is gonna be received. Here is to hoping he invests in the team now that he’s seen what we can do after the worst offseason ever
5 runs in three playoff games.
This team needs home run power to be successful in the post season. That seems to be the winning formula that we are in desperate need of.
That means one of two things or both, they start firing staff or they spend wildly this off season. Or one that I want to ignore, they do nothing.
Preller’s cooked.
It’s about as honest as these types of letters get. I like it and have faith they will do the work. LFGSD!
I think the team exposed their weaknesses two years ago, they can’t get players on base to score. This year they knew that wasn’t changing and had to star bunting, it was that and HRs the only way they would feel confident in scoring.
radio says they think padres will spend less than last year and that preller doesn’t have unanimous support of the padre execs.
