Aaron Judge goes 2-3 against the Blue Jays
Aaron, with how good Max Freed has been for you guys, were you surprised to see him struggle against that Blue Jays offense? They got a good team over there. You know, uh, great offense. It’s going to put the ball in play, give you some tough at bats, give you some long innings. So, you know, you got to grind out those outings. Um, yeah, they’re able to get to Max, but even offensively, we’re really weren’t able to get anything going there to kind of kind of back them up early on. You mentioned the offense. How frustrating was it facing Y Savage not being able to to get anything going against him? Yeah, it was tough. First time seeing him. Um he was making his pitches, you know, kind of keeping us in between a little bit there all all night. So, um yeah, you know, we kind of got to go in there late, but at that point it’s a little little too late. But, um now we got we saw him now and now we take it back home and you know, we’ve been playing with our backs up against the wall all year long, so it’s it’s nothing new for us. What splitter made it so tough to pick up? What’s that? What about his splitter made it so tough to pick up? Uh, it’s tough to say. I saw a bunch of sliders, heaters and sliders. Um, it’s just more the arm angle. You know, he’s kind of right over the top releasing it right above his head. So, you kind of, you know, everything’s kind of coming down into the zone. You got to pick up if it’s either going to stay in the zone or kind of drop down underneath. So, you know, he did a good job kind of feeding us some in the zone and kind of feeding us some down out of the zone. And, um, we just got to, like I said, we got to pick it up, play better, and we saw him now. Hopefully we can see him again. After a loss like today, do you guys get together and and talk it over and talk about what’s next or do you guys just kind of treat it like a, you know, like like you been here before? Yeah, we’ve been here before. You know, I even go back to, you know, my rookie year in 17. You know, we had a wild wild card game and then going to Cleveland and, you know, lo lose those first two against um against them. They were, you know, division champs that year too. just coming off a, you know, appearance in the World Series. So, you know, we came back home, had another tough game three, a little pitching duel, but, you know, came out on the other side. So, um, yeah, we got experience. We got guys in here. We been to the World Series, been in some tough moments, backs against the wall, you know, especially all season long. So, we just got to show up and do our thing. For you, the tiny sample size and you’re hitting well that just hour has not come yet in the postseason. Just how do you feel at the plate right now? just trying to do my job and get on base, drive guys in when they’re out there. Uh not trying to do too much. What’s helped this team and what’s been great for us all year long is just kind of passing a time. You know, kind of what we did there late in the game where, you know, a base hit, a double, another walk, a base hit, doing little things like that, putting the pressure on the pitcher. So, got to keep that going and uh take that home. You guys have had success against them back in New York, but what makes this such a a tough building to play in? You guys have had success against the Blue Jays back home, but what makes this building such a tough place to to play? That’s tough to say. You know, we love playing here. We love coming out here. You know, they had our number this year um when we came up north, but um No, it’s tough to say. I’m not too sure. Has it has it been at all surprising with just how quickly they jumped on you guys to start back in? You know, it’s supposed to anything’s going to happen. you know, you never know if it’s going to be a a pitcher duel till the end or, you know, offenses are going to explode early on. So, uh, they’ve been able to do that both games and kind of put us at bay early when they were able to put up, you know, six, seven, eight runs, you know, the first couple innings. Makes it tough to kind of climb back as an offense, but, um, it doesn’t phase us offensively. You know, we still climb back to tonight a little bit, but, um, you know, we got to kind of take it to them. You know, when we get back to New York, you know, we got to be the ones that score first and kind of put the pressure on them and kind of flip the script. Aaron, that playing right field early just the ball took a bad angle. Is that what happened? Yeah, in that situation. I know V show’s quick. You know, I’m trying to beat it to the wall cuz I know it’s going to bounce off that wall and I know he’s going to be trying to push especially with, you know, teams are trying to test my arm a little bit. So, I wasn’t able to beat it to the wall and kind of got there at the same time. Took a tricky hop off of it, but um yeah, in that one, you know, either beat it there or played off the wall, one or two. What gives you confidence you guys could come back and win three in a row? We’ve been doing it all year long. You had our like I’ve been saying this whole this whole press. We had our backs up against the wall. We’ve been been in some tough spots. Wildcard series. You know, lose the first one and play two elimination games. You know, it’s kind of what we did even at the end of the year where we’re chasing a division. You know, we’re out there and we had to win every single game kind of going down to the wire. So just go back playing our baseball, put the pressure on them and anything can

Win or loss your my yank3es
Judge the master of the regular season. Zero postseason production.
He has no fire!
🤣 👏👏 Lets Go Yankees ⚾
Judge…. Hopefully we’ll see Yesavage again. Me responding….. you will. Next season.
It seems like the more they lose, the more he smirks 😏
What’s hilarious is that Otani posted a -0.1 WPA this postseason but gets all the love in the media 😂😂 meanwhile judge is posting a +0.17 WPA this postseason and everyone is jumping on him when he’s the best player on the team this postseason.
does he have any pride?
Jays fan here The guy is good .so good in fact the jays plan is not to let him beat you at the plate. They did this successfully all season long. Fortunately for the jays he misplaced one off the wall last night that started a rally. It happens it baseball !
FAIL.
Next Blue Jay wannabe
Home run team. Not an overall good team like the Jays.
Stop making excuses you guys are done
Let's trade judge he's not a playoff play
You are a clown judge you are a total clown you are not good in the playoffs we need to trade you you are a complete disaster on this team
Yankees are going on vacation starting tomorrow
Big changes coming in the off-season we need to blow this team up
Big changes coming in the off-season we need to blow this team up
Let's blow this team up in the off-season let's do it let's make this a better hidden team see what we can get for judge trade judge we need hitters we need hitters we don't need guys that can hit home runs and go over in the playoffs and that's what judges he's not a playoff guy release Stanton
What the heck is this guy smiling at
Ok if anyone puts the loss on Judge, then they’re just stupid. Yankees allowed 23 runs in two game. What do they want this man to do?
Man, get off Judge, MOST of you have never SNIFFED the major leagues of anything.
Babe Ruth hit .349 and slugged .733 for his postseason Yankees career.
What do Yankee fans expect judge to do when they’re down 12-0 in the blink of an eye? It’s clear as day the blue jays are simply a far better team
And this is your selling point to Yankees fans… Judge goes 2-3 hitting
Just go to the Dodgers in the off-season and join forced with Ohtani
If George were alive today, he'd apologize to Dave Winfield, call Judge Mr. May, then trade him for Trout and two more older players.
Oh yea, and remove that "captain" label.
