Let’s have some good vibes by reminiscing on the last time a team came back down 0-2 in the ALDS, when the Yankees took down the 102 win Indians, including a thrilling 1-0 game 3 win, beating up on Trevor Bauer in game 4, and a team effort to take down Cy Young winner Corey Kluber in game 5

If we come back this time it will be more memorable, that’s for sure.
the only outcome i feel is unlikely is yanks lose in 4. It feels like either we roll over and die tomorrow or take the next two.
and if it goes 5, i don’t know what to expect. i could see going back to toronto and again getting waxed, or the jays choking after dropping 2 in a row.
The games we lost that series were close.
The games we’ve lost this series we’re getting dog walked:
Girardi>Boone
Judge gotta hit in the clutch… when we does, we will be champs
Might as well believe
That team had a lot of guts. Good times.
I hope the fight is there for this squad.
That team beat a much better team than what we’re facing now, but that team had more fight in them than this team does.
Bring back the old away jerseys
Where’s Greg Bird when you need him? SWING AND A DRIVE TO RIGHT!
If we do a comeback Boone is never getting fireed dawg
If the 2017 Yankees could come back against *that* Cleveland team after throwing away Game 2 in such a gut wrenching fashion, this team can come back against these Blue Jays.
Will never understand the fans who catastrophize and start attacking their own team when backs are against the wall. If this is the last Yankee game we get to watch this year, you might as well go out cheering them on.
It’s an uphill battle but it’s also an opportunity to do something memorable just like that 2017 team did. Far too many people are binary about rings and championships — win or lose, asterisk or no asterisk, that 2017 team still brings me fond memories despite not making the World Series. If you look at sports fandom in any other way, you’re basically conceding that this hobby is for the most part a waste of time. Hell, even if they get shelled tomorrow and go out on a bad note, it won’t stop me from enjoying the memories of eliminating Boston with Schlittler shoving the ball down their throats in an elimination game.
