Joe B thought he knew what rock bottom felt like as a Jets fan…and then Sunday happened 😬

I thought that my football team had hit rock bottom, you know, earlier in my lifetime, but it just doesn’t get any worse. Yeah, Joe, I think the biggest thing when I watch this team, obviously, we tried to find some positives. The run game is a positive except for the fumbs are fun. It’s It’s good. It creates space. You see them running on empty air all the time, which is awesome. But to me, the thing that jumps out most is the penalties. This was this was the MMO for I think the past two regimes, maybe three now, if you conclude this one. How how can this not get better? And why is this not the emphasis? As a fan, this is what would piss me off the most. Well, it does. And I and I’ll say and and this is what gets me the most aggravated, Tiki, about Glenn, and you hit it right on the head. He came here and he said, “We are going to be a disciplined football team. We’re not going to turn the ball over. We’re not going to make the dumb penalties.” And it’s the same old, same old. And they can’t they don’t take the ball away. They’re the only team in NFL history five games into it that doesn’t have a takeaway over a hundred years. I mean, how is that possible?

  2. What coach doesn’t say those things? Aaron Glenn was a DC for a group that wasn’t special at all but his experience as a player and the Jets got him the job.

  3. The jets find ways to hurt themselves, penalties at the worst times, good drives only to fumble in the red zone, fair catches inside the 5 yard line. Hard to entice free agent talent to come to this team without any consistency at QB or HC positions.
