You got to put up points. And I know this isn’t really a key to victory. It’s just more of stating an obvious here, but with the Bills missing, Ed Oliver and Matt Milano, two of their top five defenders, Ed Oliver is their best defender. Then you could talk about either Christian Benford, you can talk about um Nick B or Joey Bosa, Gregory Rosso, but without a question, out of Oliver is their top guy. They’re missing their top defender, nose tackle. So, you got to be able to take advantage of a little bit of a rough interior defense. And when you look at the Bills defense, yes, they played the Ravens, who are the number one offense through two weeks in the NFL, but they gave up 40 points in week one and were the worst graded defense in EPA per play when you factor in overall. But when you look at EPA pass, EPA per rush, it was absolutely brutal. Now, they did bounce back in a major way and played as a top 10 defense in week two, but that was also a New York Jets team without Justin Fields as he got concussed early in that game and a team that’s not really talented offensively anyway. So, I think the Bills defense is much more close to week one than it is week two. So Miami has an opportunity to put up 2530 points today, which they will need to do because their defense is likely not going to stop Buffalo that often. Hit that thumbs up icon, folks. I actually firmly believe that because the Dolphins have given up 12 possessions resulting in a scoring drive out of the 14 possible. They got two stops last week. That’s it. And then we already know they gave up a score every time the Colts had the ball. So, if you want to win, you have to keep the Bills offense off of the field as much as possible. So, you have to run, control the clock, and dominate time of possession. Well, the good news is the Bills defense is not very good against the run. Now, most of this might be slightly skewed towards week one, but rushing yards per game, second worst. Rushing yard per play, worst. EPA player rush, they are in the top 10. But rushing yard over expectation per attempt is 29. and yards before contact before attempt is 31st. So what does that tell you? It tells you that the front of Buffalo gets blown off the ball a little bit. There should be room for you to be able to get to that second level. And I honestly believe Miami does have a decent rushing attack through two weeks. They are fourth in yards per play. They are 10th in EPA per rush, sixth in success percentage and eighth in yards per or yards before contact per attempt. Which means if Miami doesn’t fall behind early like they did against the Colts, like they did against New England, they were down 12 nothing, they were down [ __ ] excuse my language, 24 nothing or whatever it was. They will be able to maybe run the ball effectively and control the clock, but they got to be able to run it. I actually will argue this co. This is why. Reason why? Because Tua is incapable of having a big moment and your team has a bunch of dummies on it. Zack Cer with about eight minutes to go. Your defense gets a third straight stop and then he roughs the punter on fourth and seven giving them a first down and a touchdown to go up 28-21. But the Dolphins had a chance two lead a touchdown drive. He had a chance last week down three with five minutes to go as New England through a pick. Had a chance down six with under two minutes to go. Couldn’t get it done. Down seven, five minutes to go. Kind of five minutes plus leads him into the red zone. Throws a pick. two is incapable of having a big moment. He is not a franchise quarterback. That’s the reason why he lost this game alongside incompetence from Zack Seieler and the special teams. And I know that was the idea was to have that cornerback take Han in the flap. But then you also have to recognize that safe that linebacker right there is going to drift that way right to where Wadd is. Just stupid, man. That’s just stupid. Marlon Lewis with the five. And I know we have mentioned and screamed to the heavens to fire Mike McDaniel. But the truth is Mike McDaniel is not the reason you lost this football game. He is not. This Dolphins team actually came out with a lot of competitive fire. I mean, opening kickoff, return to the 50, you march down the field, pick up 50 yards, six and a half minute drive, go up 7 nothing, committing to the run. Thought Mike McDaniel actually called a good football game as well. But you lost this football game because you have bad quarterback play and your defensive captain made the most boneheaded mistake that you could possibly make. But also, you can’t let the special teams coordinator Craig Aerman escape either because why the heck is he calling a punt block in the fourth quarter? Just be happy you got off the football field. We’ll get to more on that in a second, but I want to get to QB1 because he should not be QB1 much longer. This guy is a certified scrub. He is. And I feel bad that I defended him at times throughout the past two years because that makes me look bad. I don’t want to look bad. But thinking that this guy gets overhated was maybe the most incorrect thing that I have ever said here as the host of this channel because listen, the Dolphins simply usually do win games. Coming into this year, 38-24 with two as the starter. Now they’re 0 and3 and now he’s 38 and 27. But the glaring weaknesses that Tua has, they are just shining too bright right now. his lack of creativity, his lack of arm strength, his lack of clutchness, his scared panic movements in the pocket, and his overwillingness to check the ball down. It just can’t be something that a franchise quarterback has. I mean, it is bad. Like, there was at one point in the second half, his average depth of target was what, negative half a yard. How is that possible? Seriously, how is that possible? This is now another game where he’s turned the ball over late. I mean, how about this from Barry Jackson after that interception he threw down 28-21. They were driving inside the Bills red zone. Seven touchdowns, seven interception in his career in the final five minutes of a football game down by one score. and his passer rating is in the 70s. This guy is not a franchise quarterback. Because you want to know what the truth is, a lot of people will make a lot of noise about the lack of arm strength, the lack of creativity, the lack of mobility. All that can be pushed to the wayside if you are coming up with big plays in big situations late in games. Tua is unable to do it. And he’s had that same deficiency his entire career. I mean that play where he throws the INT, he looks left to Achan quickly to try to get that corner in the flat to go to the running back to open up that hole in the zone for Wadd. But what he doesn’t realize is that the linebacker sitting in the middle of the football field when he sees Tua look left as soon as he catches the ball is going to drift that way to go gang tackle a Chan. So he’s right there for the easy interception when Tua comes back to the middle of the field for a while. It is just incompetent and bad quarterback play. It is. What is your one-word reaction to describe to it today? Ass. I don’t know if you could say that. I’m that’s what it is. Simply put, that’s my one word. Um I I just I’m running out like there’s nothing that I would like more than to fire McDaniel, fire Chris Greer, get rid of Tua and reset. Is that going to happen in the next eight months? Yes, it will. Well, say two out of three. I don’t think Tua is gonna be gone because I don’t know who would take Tua. Um, and with that contract, he’s simply gonna be here next year. Unless you cut him and have $99 million of dead cap. I find it hard to believe they’re going to do that. It’s not going to happen. But the fact that he is just shriveled in big moments time after time after time, it is exhausting. It really is. And I don’t know if it’s quarterback play. I don’t know if it’s route concepts, the offensive line. I just simply have a hard time coming to the realization and having a hard time believing that you can have an offense with the speed of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Wadd, and Devon A Chan, yet have 22 completions for 146 minutes. And like I said, I am not putting this game on Mike McDaniel because I thought he called a good game offensively. You had three touchdowns and you were driving to tie the game up at 28 before Tua makes a boneheaded throw over the middle of the field. And when you judge a head coach, you have to judge how his football team plays in terms of do they roll over and let their dad Josh Allen rub their little tummies and say, “Oh, you’re coming into my house. Little little 30 point blowout.” No, they came out and punched the Bills in the mouth with their offensive game. And then in the second half, like we’ll get to the defense here in a second. I still can’t get over how bad they are, but they did get three stops in a row in the second half. The Dolphins were going to have the football in the fourth quarter with about 10 minutes, 8 minutes to go, tied at 21. And then Zack Caler happened. But the point remains, the team did not roll over. And for that reason alone, I don’t think he could fire on just yet. Will his time come this year? Yes. this early into the season. I don’t think it’s the time. After what I said the first two weeks, seeing how hard they played and how they competed for 60 minutes against the Bills today on the road, a much superior team, I don’t know how you can come to the realization you’re just yet. You get a stop for the third straight time and then Craig Aerman calls a punt block at midfield. Why on earth are you calling a punt block? You should be thinking the heavens that this terrible defense put together by the incompetent Chris Greer was able to get off the football field three straight possessions. But Aurman calls a pump block. And then your captain, your supposed defensive leader roughs the kicker. And you could make the argument it was running instead of roughing. Whatever. It would have been fourth and two and the Bills would have went for it and they probably would have got it. So what? It doesn’t matter. The point is, if you want to consider yourself a leader of this football team, you can’t make decisions that he made running, roughing the kicker, whatever you want to call it in that situation. And if we’re going to be real here, Zack Seer got a big extension right before the season. Welld deserved off the last two years that he’s had. He has basically took that money and ran. He has been I where where’s Waldo out there? I can’t find him. Hasn’t really forced any pressures. Hasn’t made a big play in the run game. The biggest play Zack Cer has made this year through three games is for the Buffalo Bills. I’m if I’m not mistaken, he’s your highest paid defensive player now. Maybe not with the last year of his contract still on that previous deal. Um, but if you account for his extension, he might be the highest paid defensive player you have and he’s been non-existent so far. I mean, I just still can’t get over that. That is so unbelievable. Every time it just goes off in my mind, I just can’t believe it. Um, you only held Allen to 213 passing yards, gave up three touchdowns. The run defense is unacceptable. And this goes back to Zack Cer. You gave up 157 rushing yards on 27 carries. That’s 5.8 yards per attempt for Buffalo. Your front seven, which I said was the best part of your entire football team coming into the year, has been downright embarrassing. Raandre Stevenson cooked you last week. The Daniel Jones led Colts got anything they wanted. And then now this tonight, I can’t believe I was that wrong about this defense in this front seven. I knew the secondary was going to be a [ __ ] show, but this front seven being bullied as much as it has. You’ve gotten nothing from your rookies. I think you had one good play from Kenneth Grant. Jaylen Phillips can’t tackle anyone. I think he’s missed a million tackles at the line of scrimmage where it could be a gain of nothing at this uh gain of Yeah. gain nothing. Instead, it’s a gain of four, gain of five. Jordan Brooks has been heavily disappointing like I know a lot of us are going to be upset with Tua as we should. He was terrible in the late situation again, but there’s this team is so far away from competing. It is so far away. You need a new quarterback. You need a new offensive line. And you need a pretty much top tobottom new defense. I mean, I would have thought coming into this year that if things go wrong, it’s because, all right, maybe the offensive line doesn’t hold up and the secondary is really bad. And you’re like, okay, we address O line, we address secondary and free in the draft next year. Maybe we have a chance. We are so far away. So far away. There’s not many people that I would want on this roster again next season. Wadd Achan Malik Washington Patrick Paul Aaron Brewer is Chop Robinson MIA where what is he doing? Nothing. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Who do you blame for the loss tonight? If I had to give one answer, would it be two or Zach Cer? Coup’s putting up the number one for Tua. I’m gonna go Zach Cer. I do. I really because think about this. If he doesn’t do what he did, it’s tied. It’s tied with the Dolphins have the ball. And even if Tua happens to throw the interception, the defense could either give up a score or get a stop and you get the ball back with a chance to tie or take the lead. I get it. Okay, that was not the right play. Excuse me. It was like earlier in the game it was like third and two and the Dolphins drop Zack Caler in coverage and rush three. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And he found an easy completion for six yards and a first down. What did you expect to happen? You’re going to rush three against a top five offensive line football and let Josh Allen cook. That’s just dumb decision- making. And then I well I mean it wasn’t a bad play call. I can’t blame the play call. The zone of Miami just got absolutely lit up on that Elijah Moore play. I mean you had Keon Coleman on a crosser wide open. You had Elijah Moore on the crosser wide open. Both of them would have picked up third. It didn’t matter who he threw it to. Bad man. It felt like the Dline the interior Dline was extremely soft. I mean the entire defensive line is soft. It’s it’s just bad all the way around. It’s bad all the way around. And I think most people, I mean, regardless of what happened in week one, would say the Patriots and Dolphins were in the same tier of teams coming into the year. I mean, I said that. I said that I think they’re both eight or nine win teams. So, like losing a one-sore game that you could have easily won against the Patriots and losing a close game against the Bills, like it’s not the craziest thing in the world. I’ll say this, if the Dolphins like beat the Colts in week one or lost on a one-sore game. We don’t feel as bad. I don’t think we’re saying they’re the worst team in football. I mean, it’s just hard to get that week one performance out of our brains. Simply put, the Patriots and Bills are better football teams. They’re better coach teams. There’s no question about that. I gotta be honest. I think they’re going to go three and one over the next four. Coupe. Three and one over the next four. Like they’re better team. They’re a better team than the the Jets. They just are. They are. And is what’s the field status? He’s concussed. They’ll probably be back for that week. Like they’re a better team than the Panthers and they’re a better team than the Browns. Like to me the it’s the same Mike McDaniel le Dolphins that it’s always been. The Dolphins will likely beat the teams that they’re better than and they’ll likely lose every game to a team that they’re not better than. Yep. That’s what Mike McDaniel does. Kind of who he is. No, they’re just playing bad off. And that’s actually what I think most of last season was at this point. We had the easiest schedule in football and we still went eight and nine. So, I think we played just a lot of bad teams and a lot of bad quarterbacks last year, which is why the defense was probably better than what it actually was. I will say Jack Jones after a very bad first half, I would probably argue Jack Jones was your second best or your best player defensively in the second half. He had a good second half. He had a couple PBU or couple forced incompletions. I should say not pass breakups. He had a couple big plays in the run game and just coming up and making a tackle.
