  1. Dude is going to be make a massive step up this year . Been loving how he has been gelling with kornet so far .

  2. The most encouraging thing to me is the lack of random 3’s. Faking the 3 and driving to get a teammate an open look is the play when you’re that big and have that good of court vision. He should only be pulling up when he’s wide open, there’s too much of an advantage to be gained getting the ball closer.

  3. Gets taller, leaner and stronger during the offseason yet his passing in traffic looks to be the biggest improvement.

    Exciting.

  4. Mama, there goes that man…

His passing is so much improved, give me more please.

  5. People keep going for the fake 3 as if they could block it if it wasnt a fake 😂 just let him shoot man save your energy

  6. Don’t think I’ve ever seen someone that big run point in the pick n roll lol

  7. Even though i was sad to see kawhi go, then see him win in canada, im glad we eventually got wemby.

  8. The word “unstoppable” has been (mis)used several times in the last 20 years of NBA. But seriously: how do you deal with this?!

  9. All those 3s people were hating on him for last year making everyone jump every time he pump fakes

  10. It’s already becoming clear you have to make him make shots before you start biting on his fakes. I’d rather have him shoot somewhat contested threes than him attacking the basket and finding his teammates.

  11. It’s funny how some people are still so confident when driving on Wemby. Like dude is 7’4 with a 7’10 wingspan and can track you like a hawk. You’re gonna have a fun time in the paint against that 🤣

  12. He looks egregiously good. Gonna be watching a lot of Spurs games this year.

One thing I really hope that comes from his career is a newfound appreciation for old centers like Wilt and Russell. It’s not that the competition has to be super inferior for guys to have that type of dominance, every once in awhile, there really are these phenomenal athletes who are giants but still somehow have the quickness and feel for the game as someone a foot shorter.

  13. Even with his insane measurables and bags of talent, what’s most impressive is his work ethic.

He’s not satisfied with being a physically imposing center. Him striving to excel in other areas of the game is downright scary for the rest of the league.

It leads me to wonder if there’s even anyone in/around his age group that’ll be capable of competing with him as he gets closer and closer to his peak.

  14. Why are people falling for the pump fake three? It’s not like they are gonna contest anyway makes no sense.
