Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff on goaltending depth
On the goalending issue, it’s just organizationally you’re being consistent with Levi, right? You want him playing regularly in Rochester instead of yo-yoing him back and forth. Yeah, for sure. And we want him playing well. Um, if you if you look at, you know, with UPPL’s situation where, you know, we’re kind of don’t exactly know, you know, if he’s just going to come out of it. Uh, if he comes out of it, great. But I think at the same time, you have to protect yourself. Um, and we think the world of Levi. Um, I think he’s going to be a hell of a goalie, but we have to protect ourselves at the same time.
The Buffalo Sabres picked up Colten Ellis off waivers Monday, and put Alexandar Georgiev on waivers Tuesday.
