BREAKING: Steelers Witness Shocking AFC North Trade

The Pittsburgh Steelers are officially the last team in the AFC North cycle for Joe Flacco. I can’t say at this point I’d be surprised if Joe Flacco ends up in Pittsburgh at any point during his career. He right now has done three out of four of them. And yes, Aaron Rodgers is here and he’s their guy, but Joe Burrow was here and he was their guy and the Cincinnati Bengals still decided an injury happened and it’s time to make a move. For those of you who have missed the news, Joe Flacco is leaving the Cleveland Browns after getting benched for rookie Dylan Gabriel and is headed to no other than the Cincinnati Bengals, marking three of the four AFC North teams that he has officially played for. He heads to Cincinnati to replace Joe Burrow after the team tried Jake Browning. It did not work. and now they desperately need an answer to try and save their season. The terms of the deal are simple. The Browns sent Joe Flacco and a sixthround pick to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for a fifth round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. a late round swap that gives Cincinnati a quarterback after they’ve given up on Jake Browning have admitted that it is not going to work with their hopeful backup quarterback and with Joe Burrow being out for no one truly knows how long. The Bengals need an answer. They are two and three right now. They sit second place in the AFC North. They’re hoping that the Pittsburgh Steelers crumble at some point. And if the Steelers do crumble at some point, well, you want to know who could take advantage of it? Joe Flacco and the Cincinnati Bengals. This allows Jamar Chase and T. Higgins to have some sort of opportunity to do something after the Bengals paid them bonkers amount of money. And it gives the Bengals some hope that maybe at the end of all this chaos, there is light at the end of the tunnel and they could keep themselves afloat for just long enough to hold on. We’ll see if it works for the Pittsburgh Steelers. They no longer have to worry about Joe Flacco taking over for Dylan Gabriel in a game against the Cleveland Browns this weekend. And it is now Dylan Gabriel and Shadur Sanders who are the quarterbacks of the Cleveland Browns. Which means that the Steelers at this point have just as likely of a chance to play Shadur Sanders this season than they did Joe Flacco at any point this season. Now they will definitely play Joe Flacco. most likely in 5 days turnaround from Cleveland Browns or the Cleveland Browns coming to AAR Stadium to take them on in week six because Pittsburgh heads to Cincy which could very well be the first game for Joe Flacco in this season as a starter for the Bengals in week seven on a Thursday night game. absolutely bananas move that uh is rare and in division trade almost never happens but the Bengals are desperate. The Browns are saying we’ve got two quarterbacks. We don’t really need a third. They move on from Joe Flacco. The Bengals get Joe Flacco. He’s one team away from the AFC North cycle. And again, I think it would surprise nobody if by some miracle, some crazy happen stance, he ends up in the black and gold at some point in the future playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wild times. Big trade for the AFC North. And the Pittsburgh Steelers now face a new quarterback when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals just a week from now. Will it work? Only time will tell. [Music]
