[Computer Cowboy on the McDuffie interception] Prepared to get roasted for this but I don’t get all the people complaining about the lack of penalty here. The WR and DB ran into each other within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage before the ball was thrown. This was a good no-call.

They’re saying it now because we lost. If we would’ve won who knows how toxic shit would be.
Just going to add if anything should have been called, it’s OPI on #11 for running a pretty obvious pick on Hicks. Trevor has the open receiver created from the pick, but he throws it to the guy setting it instead for… reasons.
Most casual fans have no idea of the 5 yard limit where a DB can handle a WR and just follow an echo chamber. It was a Lose lose situation anyways considering how the rest of the NFL fanbases hates us. Good on Mcduffie though. Just too many mistakes made on our side.
Noooo, don’t use your brain to interpret rules. If it’s good for the Chiefs the refs helped them. No other explanation
was wondering what the difference between dpi and a pick play is… where the ball goes?
Everyone is losing their minds about the no-call pass interference on the Chiefs. Using it as their own mental evidence that the Chiefs win games because they’re gifted calls.
In this particular instance, the fact that the Chiefs LOST THE GAME and were penalized a shitload for a shitload of yards doesn’t even matter.
There are even posts on Facebook with fake quotes from Mahomes saying it was “The worst officiated game he’s ever seen,” clearly fake, and people just eat it up.
It’s cool the Chiefs are the villains now, but social media has ruined people.
Aren’t the refs supposed to be explaining the calls next year? You would think that the analysts on TV would do that, but apparently it’s too much to expect them to get it right.
I fully believe Aikman has a bias opinion against the chiefs, the reason being that people used to joke about how Mahomes passed him in every career stat so early into his own career. Aikman made some social media comments that showed he was upset about those jokes. And so now he will almost always go against the chiefs on these judgment calls during his commentary, and that definitely sways the public opinion on these calls.
Is it a PI if they don’t call it? No it is not.
If that was PI wasn’t it also PI on Derwin James when he pressed kelce into worthy?
Troy Aikman literally doesn’t know the rules of football. Plus he needed a stacked super team in a pre salary cap era to do in his career ALMOST as much as Patrick has done before he’s 30. Troy is jealous of Pat and can barely hide it during the broadcast
Doesn’t matter what the rule is, chiefs haters will just move the goalposts to “well Mahomes would’ve gotten the call.” There’s no convincing them, best to just not engage. NFL is more fun when you stop letting the people who only watch for narrative drama have an impact on you.
