  1. Great news: We signed a QB with the same completion % and same yards per attempt as Joe Burrow

Bad news: as Joe Burrow in 2025

  2. The main advantage to picking Flacco over any of the other options out there is that it’s funnier (especially if it works out).

  3. The Bengals were determined to start a Joe at QB this week. It was either gonna be Flacco or Namath. I think they made the right choice, but only time will tell.

  4. Im not mad about it. We are trying, which is something I cant say we would have done in past years.

  5. 2025 season, thus far:

    FLACCO: C% – 58.1%, YDs- 815, TDs – 2.

    BROWNING: C% – 64.5%, YDs – 757, TDs – 6.

I’d rather we fucking pay Stabbin ‘Mark Sanchez’ bail than give anything to the Browns for their broken and benched QB that slotted us for being non-competitors 15 years ago when he was actually a threat.

I’d say we were tanking with purpose but we’re both too stupid to think that far ahead and will almost definitely fumble any top order pick anyway. We hit on Burrow and Chase, we’re due for a draft bust.

On the bright side, the NHL season starts today and Cincinnati doesn’t have a team so there’s no possible way for us to suck at that.

  6. Trading down a 5th for a 6th is not a terrible deal at all for the chance to save the season.

What were we gonna do, use that pick on the OL?
