Their approach at the plate tonight was embarrassing. They swung at almost as many pitches outside the zone as inside. Gilbert wasn’t throwing strikes tonight, and they helped him out massively.
Seattle is a top to bottom better baseball team. Better starting pitching. Better bullpen. Better lineup.
The Mariners choke. It’s what they do. Maybe it’s tomorrow.
