I've been to several NFL games, but never by myself. I'm pretty chatty/friendly, so I'm hoping that sitting on the home side by myself (f) won't be too weird. My friend bailed on me but I've been to New Orleans dozens of times, so not worried about it. But is sitting alone at the game going to be awkward? I mean, if so, I'm still going. Got seats in the 300s and my swag all packed.

  1. Shouldn’t be weird at all from what I’ve seen strangers are always friendly at sports games, especially to people rooting for the same team. You might even get lucky and get really cool/chill people next to you.

  2. Partner, we as a society need to normalize doing shit on our own. I wouldn’t worry about awkward, what if you meet people you never knew, partied with them and had the time of your life? Because realistically, there is a good chance that’ll happen. I’m jealous of those 300s seats baby!

  3. I’ve been to dozens of pels games by myself and have met people. Me and this dude from Philly walked around and I showed him the city.

  4. Nah you’re good. Nobody else really gives a shit, so as long as you are comfortable with it yourself. A lot of people go solo. Who dat nation got you ☺️

  5. It’s pretty cool. It’s nice to get to commiserate or celebrate with everyone.

I have two season tix and sometimes I just don’t get anyone to go with. It’s still a good time!

  6. Hell no. People are so friendly in the Dome. I drove 12 hours each way from SW Florida by myself to go watch a playoff game, and honestly it was one of my favorite life experiences.

  7. It’s never weird I’ve been to plenty games by myself, I always shoot the shit with people around me especially if they are fans of the other team. It will be fun overall

  8. Geaux saints! Make some friends celebrate with those around you! Cheers! Have fun brother.

  9. Haha just go and have fun! I went to a Longhorns game with my best friend last year and got seats that were ten rows from the field and thought we were going to have a blast. He dipped out literally 5 minutes before kickoff as he was feeling super sick and freaked out. I almost thought about leaving but I paid for both of our tickets, said fuck it, and had a GREAT fucking time. I ended up high-5’ing people in front of me every time Texas scored and jumping up and down cheering and had more room to do so. I’m glad I stayed.

I went to the Saints game against the 49ers last month and would say I’d feel just as comfortable being there alone too.

  10. I was once in DC for work and they had some cheap seats left at a Commanders game and I was leaving Sunday night and had time to kill so I went to the game alone and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. Normalize doing things alone!

  11. No.

There is never, ever anything wrong with enjoying things by yourself. Eating alone, going to the movies alone, etc. The way I see it is – who’s better company for me than me? I enjoy my company 😂

  12. It will be great. I’ve been to dozens of Saints games by myself. You can have fun meeting people if you want and also just do your own thing/grab a beer/bathroom break/grab some food whenever you want.

  13. The coolest thing you can be is yourself. If you want to go by yourself, do it. And don’t care what anyone else thinks

  14. I’ve been to many football games (NFL and college) on my own. Sometimes you find some cool people, sometimes you are by lame people…but I never felt weird about it. You should be fine.

  15. It’s the best way imo in most ways. Your own schedule, responsible for only yourself, make new friends. Have a blast! Nothing like the Superdome on a Sunday. Enjoy!

  16. They will have people dressed up like clowns, wearing whistles on their heads, and drunk by halftime. I think you’ll be just fine.

  17. I’ll be there solo as well lol who cares enjoy the experience focus on the game get good seats

  18. Yes do it! Maybe make a friend there, maybe not. But if you like what you’re doing hell yeah.

  19. Just wanna throw out there, my dad is deaf and the absolute biggest saints fan. He’s out there screaming louder than anybody with season tickets, so go bro enjoy it
