Arizona Cardinals vs Tennessee Titans | NFL 2025 Season Week 5 | Cardinals vs Titans

State Farm Stadium here in Glendale. So, this was the scene a moment ago, the Cardinals emerging from their tunnel and we are ready for football as the Cards get set to match up with Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans. Now, on the return here, we’ve got an injured player down there while the training staff works on him. We’ll step aside and be right back to the man. That’s trash. That’s trash. On first and 10, here’s Murray sliding out of the pocket and he slides to avoid the head. Big yardage there on the scramble. It gets him a first down. Partner, he was going through his progressions. Not there. Not there. After about the third one, he decided he better pull it down and run for it. And he slides down and avoids the hit for good measure. So, one play and they’re already just shy of midfield. Throwing on first down is Murray. Fitzgerald bringing it in over the middle and he’ll get it down to the 47 here. That throw good for four. It’s second down. One thing we do know, he’s going to get his catches. So, as they move forward defensively, got to continue to focus on not giving up the big play when he does catch the ball in the secondary. Four yardds on that last completion. So, that sets up second and six. He’ll run for the first time with Johnson and he takes it down to the 425 yd line. I think that’s what they’re going to need to do here in the first half. You’ve got to take some pressure off of this young quarterback and no better way to do it than to establish the running game early. So, third and two. This quite possibly four down territory though if they’re stopped. Third and two and here’s my and he’s getting fixed. But he’s going to have the first down and about the 38. The third down conversion. Five yds on the play. Trying to get one more in here before the quarter breaks. No score after one on EA Sports. Back in Arizona. Second quarter action. It’s the Cardinals in possession as they’ve got it with a first and 10. So, here’s a first and 10 at the 38. First down. Murray throwing well, but it’s incomplete. He was looking for Charles Clay, his tight end, but it’s going to be second down. Looked like he had a couple of different options as far as who to throw to on that play. And who am I to say this, but I’m not sure he made the right decision. Well, the window of opportunity is always going to be small in the NFL. That’s why those quarterbacks who make quick decisions and have quick releases have the most success in this league to throw again on second down. Murray and this will be incomplete physical play on the football there and it’s second down. Didn’t have a receiver open downfield as it turned out. Couldn’t even find his outlet man because of the coverage. It’s way too tight. Unable to find anyone open. Now they face a third and 10 after backto back incompletions. throwing is Murray on third down on the left side. Fitzgerald given 16 yds there and it’s a Cardinals first down as well. They forget about the run to set up the pass. They’re just coming out throwing. Forget trying to set anything up. They feel like they have the advantage. They feel like they have the matchups and they’re just attacking right now. Yep. Going to the air on the opening drive. Murray now on first down. Open man. Butler complete and he will lose yardage and be backed up to the 24. This will be a two yd loss on the play and it’ll be second and 12 [Applause] again. They’ll throw in Murray over the middle. And it’s hauled in by Isabella. Only three yds on the catch. It’s third down. One of the things you’re hoping for when you run drag routes able to hit a receiver in stride and you can pick up a lot of yardage after the catch. But in this situation, the defense was effective. Able to stop him before he get a good head of steam down. They’re two for two on third down. Conversions on this drive. This one tough. They need nine yards on third down. He may try to run for this. and he nearly got the first himself, but it appears he’s going to be about a yard or two short. The Titans going to use the first of their timeouts as they get the stoppage with a little over 50 seconds to go in the first half. Now, the former Sundevil Zane Gonzalez for the field goal try. Gonzalez’s kick is good and the Cardinals have the first points. It’s three nothing. So the field goal there caps what winds up to be an 11play drive. Well partner, that’s a lot of offense to run there to only get three points. I just wonder are they going to recycle those plays because they were successful in getting three or do you go to another section of the playbook trying to find ones that get you to the end get you six? after the field goal. Here’s Gonzalez to kick it off. That’ll be taken in the end zone and no run back here. This will be a touch back and it comes out to the 25 yd line. Mariota on first down. It’s brought in by Adam Humphre and they’ll get it all the way up about five yds shy of midfield. Now Tennessee going to use the second of their timeouts as they stop it with just over 40 seconds to go in the first half. And here comes Tennessee as they get set to take the field. This one a little slow to get cooking. Just a three nothing score line as they begin with a first and 10. The big play to start him out. Has him at the 45 already. Working out of the gun. Mario and he fends him off but he can’t get away forever. And down he goes in that time for the sack. Say hello to Chammer Jones. Got to give him points for the attempt, but there’s just a wave of pressure there. A host of people in the area. Evades a few. It couldn’t have been all of them. Mariota yelling out the play call as he hustles everyone to get set. Throwing on second and Mariota. Pass called left side by Humphre and out of bounds on the other side of midfield at the 45. That one good for 17 as they’re set up better now for third down. Now we’ve got movement up front. I think this is going to be on the Titans. That’s going to go down as a loss of five and it brings up third down. Mario. He finds Henry and he is brought down but not before reaching the 30 and offensively they’ll take the timeout with 6 seconds left in the second quarter. So even though it’s first down, here’s the field goal unit on now to try to get three before halftime. It’ll be a 47 yd attempt from the left hatch and this will split the uprights. It’s right down the middle. So a big play before the end of the half to get them into this spot and they cash in with three. How about the one two to the solar plexus on that one? The big play, the field goal. Not much time left on the clock. That’s the way to go into the half. each team with a possession, each team with a field goal as the kick is away. This will be taken in at the one. So, we’ve hit halftime and what was obviously a very fastm moving first half of play. As we send you on out to our studios in Orlando, here’s Jonathan Coachman at REA Sports. Second half ready to roll. Two field goals. The combined output in half number one. Could be first touchdown wins. Now, whistles and we’ve got a man down. A man down here following the kickoff. We’ll check on his status when we get back. The Titans offense set to begin the drive. They have a chance to break our tie here as we get a look at the first drive of quarter three. And it’s such a tone settle, isn’t it? Because both sides trying to seize momentum to begin the half. What do they have dialed up that’ll give them an advantage to move the ball downfield. Let’s find out what they have dialed up. First down yardage on the first play of the drive. Give him 14. Mario now to throw on first down and it’s complete to Tayon Taylor. A good pick up there. Eight yds on the first down completion. Nothing fancy on first down, but a very consistent type of a play. Hit that slant. A lot of people call it an extension of the running game and it can be if that pass is completed cuz you hit a guy on the run like that, the offer can go from yardage. Sets him up nicely for second down. staying ahead of schedule. Running jet sweep here, Humphre and he’ll be brought down at the 48 yd line. They get three as the drive continues. It’s a first down. It was a play that was designed to trick the defense to try and find him. They didn’t gain a huge chunk of yardage, but they did pick up a first down. Still in search of their first touchdown of the game, but they’re on the move. First and 10. Mariana hands to Henry. Tackle made there by Jordan Hicks. They tried a quick hitter inside, but that one was swallowed up because what they’re hoping those big defensive linemen will take the bait and move laterally and open up a crease that they can run through. Didn’t happen on that play. This will probably be the last play of the corner. One quarter remains here in this Thursday night matchup. We’ll return with more after this break. You’re watching the NFL on EA Sports. They’re running it again with Henry tried to find a lane, but instead he’ll get back to the line of scrimmage and no more. Officially no gain on the play and they’re left with a third and eight. Perfectly designed blitz right there. They took that one from the grease board to the field because they were able to free up their linebacker to get into the back field and spill the play. He’ll get to the line here, but remember it’s also third down. Mario, he’ll buy some time. He can right and he will try. Big yardage there on the scramble. It gets him a first down. How many times have we seen this late in the fourth quarter? Because you know the pass rush is getting after them and they get upfield, get that great push and what do they create? space and he takes off. So after the big play, look at this. All the way down at the fifth now on first and 10. Mariano gets to Henry and he was able to shed the tackle, but the reserves come in for the Cardinal going to use the first of their timeouts as they’ll talk things over prior to this upcoming second down play. LeBron only got a yard. Here’s second and nine again. It’s Henry and he goes backwards here. Losing yardage. Back to the 16. Now the Cardinals going to call another timeout, their second as they’ll talk it over here before what’ll be an important third down. [Applause] This defense has got the field defense. A shotgun hand off to Henry. And they’re going to drop him well shy of the first as he can only make it to the 11. The Cardinals forced to burn their third and final touchdown as it comes with a minute 15 left to go in the second half. So, here we go. Maybe the biggest kick of the game forthcoming. And the 10-year vet knocks it through the goal post and with a little over a minute to play, they have taken the lead. We still wait on the first touchdown of the game, but a second field goal now makes it a 6-3 score. Yeah, I know a lot of people would call this the definition of winning ugly. To me, this is gorgeous. I’m a defender, right? I love these kind of games. The tension is high. Who’s going to make the play to win it? And right now, that field goal may be the advantage that they need. [Music] Suckup now set to kick it off following the main field goal. This fielded at the two and he’ll take it up past the 25 to the 26 yd line. pick up. Look to throw. Completing it to the right side. Johnson a yard short. Nice pick up of nine yds on first down. But they picked up a little bit of yardage there. And now in this situation should be in no hurry to run a play really fast. Let the clock wind down. Cardinals got to go quickly. Hustling to the line. He’s back to throw over the middle and it’s incomplete. The intended receiver was David Johnson and it’s third and short. He’s unable to complete it there and just not the game that you would expect from him. He’s been off the mark really start to finish. Yeah, it makes you wonder what exactly is going on. Is he a little bit dinged up here or is he just off just by a bit? Maybe he can get it back in this situation. Donita back to throw and he’s got his man. It’s the tighter in play and he gets this one to midfield before he’s brought down. A little surprise pays off on third and one. Pass instead of run gets him 15 yds. First down now, but that clock rolling. Here’s Murray from midfield over the middle and caught by the tight end play and he’ll get it down to 47 here. The completion good for three at second down going into the final play of this game. They knew that they needed some type of a miracle there at the very end, but they couldn’t get it done. However, we were treated to really a spectacular affair. Even though they didn’t finish it off, you’re exactly right. They took us down to the last play. We’re still You’re wondering, could it happen? Possibly. Even though we both knew it was a long shot.

Disclaimer: This video is **not original footage of the actual event**—it is a **gameplay-based simulation** created purely for entertainment and analytical purposes.

To build this simulation, I used a combination of **data-driven models, player performance analytics, matchup statistics, recent form trends, injury reports, historical records, probability weights, and algorithmic simulations**. All of these inputs are processed and adjusted to approximate real-world outcomes as closely as possible within the limitations of my current system.

At present, my predictions focus on the **outcome (win/loss/draw)** rather than the exact scores, as my compute power is still limited. With more GPUs and an advanced desktop build, I plan to expand into higher-resolution simulations that will capture more granular details, including scorelines and advanced in-game scenarios.

So far, this method has been **91% accurate** in forecasting outcomes, and I am continually refining the process to push that even closer to 100%.

Please note: This is a **fan-made simulation** and should not be mistaken for official results. It is intended for viewers who enjoy analytical, predictive gameplay content.
