Victor Oladipo Shocks NBA: Not Retiring! Spoelstra FED UP with Miami Heat Stars — ‘LAZY, NO HEART!
[Music] Victor Olad Depot is back, guys. I am a huge Victor Oladipo fan. People don’t realize if Victor Oladipo panned out for the Miami Heat, it would have changed everything. We would have had a back court of Victor Oladipo and Tyler Herro. And then you’re telling me that you’re adding Jimmy Butler and Bama at the bio. Bro, people don’t understand. He was supposed to pan out. And the and the fact that he was playing on one leg the whole time and the flashes and the excitement and the scoring that he was able to do on two bad legs, he looked phenomenal last night. Now, I know he’s on the Lon Lions, a team that really no one really cares about, and he played the Spurs last night. 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, six steals, and one block. And that’s what it’s about. The fact that he’s after coming off of these crazy lower body injuries and surgeries and setbacks, swellings, and redoing surgeries. I am so excited to see Victor Oladipo back in the NBA. I know he’s not there yet, but there’s no ex if you guys really watched him last night, which like I said, he showed great flashes. He’s only going to get better, and I really do hope he continues to stay healthy, bro. He can honestly bring great value to any team off the bench. Now, this part is very concerning because I’mma say this right now. If the Miami Heat knew that Khil Wear’s motor issues was this bad, if they didn’t like him or whatever the case may be, who really knows what’s going on? I’m really hoping that it’s just spo Miami Heat are really pushing for this guy to be great because I honestly do think the talent is there. Now, Khlo Wear, he finished last night’s heat exhibition with 18 points and 13 rebounds, but Eric Spo wasn’t thrilled. He said, “I think everybody is looking at the wrong thing. It’s going to have to impact the game.” So, there was a threeminut segment where it actually impacted the game. The rest of it has to actually impact the game. I’m not looking at the statline. I think everybody is looking at the wrong thing. It has to impact the game. So, I kind of see where Spo’s coming from, but then at the same time, I just think he’s a little bit too hard on the guy because you have to look at it like this. They didn’t get blown out by 30 points to where, okay, yeah, he was playing in empty minutes. And at the end of the day, let Khil Wear get his reps in. Let him get his work in. Obviously, if there’s a motor issue, is if there’s a lack of aggression, we need to continue to put a foot in his ass because there’s no excuse. There’s no way that you’re going to be a 7 foot monster with that type of talent, that type of energy, that type of versatility and athleticism, and you’re not going to dominate the basketball. My thing is is like I said I have to see Khil Wear in the regular season 10 to 15 games with getting his full potential in in terms of minutes and opportunity then I can make my decision on Khil. Obviously we don’t see him in practice. Obviously we don’t see him behind the scenes. I just hope that this does not turn into a Hassan Weissside situation. There’s no reason why Khil shouldn’t be playing. We are getting outrebounded but our first preseason game we got outre rebounded by 20. You will lose every single game that you play. If you’re playing around and actually getting outrebounded by 20 boards, you’re going to lose. This is the NBA. Especially now when you have sevenfooters shooting threes and you know, you have sevenfooters doing the same things that guards are doing nowadays. You have to have size on every roster. Switchable, movable, athletic size. Effort, especially late in the way he plays. Yeah, there was a threeminut segment where it actually impacted the game. The rest of it, it has to impact the game. I’m not looking at the the the statline. I think everybody’s looking at the wrong thing. It it’s got to impact the game. I want him the next game to be a plus 20, right? That’s what it’s about. Um and that’s part of the maturation for a young player. He does really good things and then when you uh aren’t able to do it consistently, it doesn’t impact the game. And you don’t want to have deflating plays. You want to have inspiring plays. that that steal he had uh at half court uh was an inspiring play uh that impacted the moment and there was probably a 3minut stretch there. I guess if we I want to take that three-minut stretch and see what his his plus minus was on that because it impacted the game. Um and that’s part of him as a young player connecting the dots. I it does not matter if you have 18 and 13 if it if it’s not impacting the game really. Um, uh, Nico, I don’t have my glasses on. What was his plus minus? Haimeme. Yeah, both those guys. Haime did some, uh, I don’t know what his statline was, but they both impacted, uh, you know, the game in a in a positive way. Um, but that’s part of it. That’s part of a young player and I that’s why I enjoy coaching him because I’m my responsibility is to help teach him how to connect the dots uh and become more consistent where uh it now leads to winning. So someone asked coach Spo on what stood out to him about Kash Johnson’s development since camp started. One of the things he’s really improved is he’s able to access those physical attributes more consistently now. Yeah. But my biggest thing also is where is the skill? We know he could jump out the gym. We know he could dunk on people. We know he’s fast, strong, linebacker. Like we know the physical attributes, but where is the skill? And I’m not saying that can’t be developed because that’s how you get Max Juice and Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin, guys who’ve been in the Miami Heat system for years and then on year three or four, that’s when they pop. But I need to be able to see obviously lock down defense, but then also to the three-point shooting. You have to be able to shoot in the NBA. And I just feel like, yeah, he has all the phys all the physical attributes to be a good NBA player, athletic, but I want to see that applied to the defensive side of the basketball, and he has to be able to shoot on a reliable level because then why else is he out there offense? Um, what about KJ’s game? If there’s one specific thing that he’s improved on, has stood out to you throughout training camp and and through the first game. One of the things that we really liked him about him when we um uh worked him out uh uh after getting him immediately was his athleticism and all of his measurables were great. You know, fast. Uh he’s athletic. He’s got a great vertical. Uh he has he’s physical. Uh he played a great role um you know for Arizona but also San Diego State. Um played different positions defensively. He was able to do a lot of different things. He’s well coached uh in both places. Uh but the thing, you know, last year he he started off great coming off of summer league, had a really solid two months in Sou Falls and he went through what a lot of young young players go through. There’s an adjustment. Um team started to adjust on him. Uh and one of the things uh you know, I think that that he’s really improved is he’s able to access those physical attributes more consistently now. uh that speed end to end, the athleticism, uh the defensive versatility, you you just notice it a whole lot more. Uh part of that is because he’s trained for it. He’s really put in uh the time. Uh the game has slowed down for him, which has allowed him to speed up his athleticism. Uh and you know, that leads to a spark. Um you know, which uh I’ve been very encouraged about. Now, Eric’s post on his thoughts on Nicolo Yoic. I like it when he’s getting off the ball early. I like it when he’s putting his head down and attacking the paint with aggressiveness. He’s had some good stuff tonight. I’m encouraged by that. And that’s really what I’m asking. We have to be able to put Yoic in the position to win. He’s 6’11, which he has to work on the rebounder. I’m sorry. You can’t be out there with Bam getting out rebounded. Yes, he’s good in transition. Yes, he’s a better switchable, movable defender at his size and wear. Yes, he’s a playmaker and everything like that. and he can push the pace and, you know, get to the cup and all those things are great and I and I really do think he’s improved defensively, but my biggest thing is the rebounding because like I said earlier, you cannot win in today’s NBA if you’re getting outrebounded by 20. You know, some of the decision-m I like it when he’s uh getting off the ball early. I like it when he’s uh putting his head down um and attacking uh the paint with aggressiveness. Usually, good things happen um and not settling. He’s a very good three-point shooter, you know, particularly when it’s coming off of somebody else’s paint touch spray. Um, you know, we don’t necessarily need the step back threes, you know, to to generate, you know, other stuff. But, um, but he had some good stuff tonight. We are pushing to 10,000 subscribers. Dipo!
6 steals is wild
Let’s go heat
Let’s go
How can we get him is the question 😊
I think spo want ware to be a superstar he literally have the tools that’s why he so hard on him . Easy could be 22 plus points a game . He a good defender, he can shoot , Lob threat , can shoot in post a little
What they say hard work beat talent when talent doesn’t work hard .
Way too hard on Ware, that’s how you destroy a kids confidence. You said it once for the media now keep it in the locker room.
I love Vic i hope he gets another chance
Let’s talk about Bam before Ware !! FIRE 🔥 Spo
Of all of the underwhelming players on this team, why is our coach and some of our fans choosing to bad mouth Ware? Who actually has upside. He’s averaging a double double in PRESEASON with a trash lineup. What do they want him to do?
I freaking love Spo. Love the way he is coaching up Ware. He is trying to make him into a professional. If Ware does respond, its exactly what he needed.
Victor needs another shot man!

Just my take! I believe ware is better that keshad johnson!
Ware is a future superstar and Spo is acting like hes a role player. Just wait til other Teams who know how to treat talented players start noticing Ware.. Spo should let someone else coach this team and Spo can replace Riley
The truth is if Embiid was drafted by the Heat Spo would have said the same thing about Embiid that he is saying about Ware. I think this about Spo not Ware.
Ware can shoot a 3. So he a little bit better than Whiteside
Bam is the leader, and he is gonna have the lowest stats this year, Bam always gets a pass, I don't know why and I understand what Spo is saying about Ware, he does not get Assist, reminds me of Whiteside, and about Kashard, he can't shoot, he is gonna be one of our cheers leaders on the bench when Hero and Larson comes back so he needs to take this year and work on his Jumpers
5:08 Keshad gone be The Matrix 2.0 fafo!…I believe in em
I'm with Spo, Ware played in 64 games last season I believe. He also played in summer league so he should be well adjusted to the speed and physicality of the league. You can teach motor and if Coach Spo can't reach him trade him. With his size he should be a big part of the game not just 3 minutes of garbage time playing against no starters
