He just needs help with a complimentary back. He can be excellent in the screen and draw game.
O-line is rarely getting to the second level.
Admire Ben Johnson's commitment to the run game.

Didn’t the Patriots draft a good RB?
3rd and very short scares me more than 3rd and long at this point. We are so bad when we need just a small gain
Commanders one of the top rushing teams in the NFL. Yeah, I don’t see that being a problem at *all*
Hopefully the Bears cleaned up most of their pre-snap issues, run scheme, and run defense because if not, it will be difficult to win football games when you are shooting yourself in the foot with penalties and can’t stop the run or run the ball.
By “he needs help” you mean he needs to be demoted to backup and play on third downs only.

A decent run game is a young QB’s biggest advantage. Maye and Caleb have been more impressive in that context
This chart is kind of wild. Am I understanding this correctly?
* 26 of 32 teams have a negative outcome on average when rushing (not negative yards, but a negative overall situation)
* The Rams have over 50% success rushing, but still a negative EPA somehow
Sitting there with the Raiders just as expected.
Poles should’ve traded for Henderson! He would’ve—oh wait.
Funny how this graphic makes both our offense AND defense look terrible, with the Raiders on there and where they are placed
We need an RB so bad.
lol bears and raiders are similar in so many ways. theyre basically the same team just in different conferences
Bears need to go get a Breece hall or Devon Achane at the deadline.
Hard to run the ball well or often when you’re starting every drive 1st and 15.
We needed a stud RB before the draft, we still need a stud RB after the draft. Nothing has changed.
This graph is surprising to no one.
The success rate ranking is higher than I thought it would be.
Hoping bringing back TJ, Kyler, and Grady helps but wooooof… the commies may not need to pass Monday night
Breece Hall and a 5th for DJ Moore. Makes sense for both sides.
The Bears pasing offense is better than the Commanders secondary. Likewise, the Bears can contain the Commanders passing attack.
If it’s a long grind out game, then the Bears will most likely lose. But if Ben Johnson and Dennis Allen deploy a statagy similar to Dallas where Chicago can quickly put points on the board and control time of possession while doing it, then the Commanders run game will take a back seat due to having to keep up with the scoreboard.
The only reason why Im not as worried as I normally would is because Ben Johnson clearly knows the strengths and weaknesses of this team. He’s going to put the Bears in the best position to win.
Flus ass would’ve just played the game the way Washington wanted him to play it and we would’ve been screwed.
The issue is I really believe it’s an issue with RBs, not the Oline or play calling, Swift is just bad
so far! 😉
This sub will use EPA to shit on Swift but boy ooh boy don’t show them EPA for Caleb
God I hate the raiders why’d they have to take Jeanty from us now look at them.
Yeah, it’s DIRE
There are two sides to every pancake. take a look at dropback success rate. https://rbsdm.com/stats/stats/ The bears are 28th in dropback success rate ahead of only browns giants bengals and titans. So they are 27th in rushing success rate and one spot worse in dropback success rate. Not good folks!
I would blame it all on swift. Dude needs to step up like Tyrique has at DB
