1. Honestly, this is the most exciting thing for me in this whole deal. That Flacco can basically be a check for Taylor and maybe even get him to work on some new concepts.

4. It’s funny that so many people had strong feelings towards Jameis or Russ: what have either of those guys shown over the past few years that Flacco hasn’t? When you’re picking through guys who have been benched, you’re just looking for a guy who can come in and quickly understand your scheme. Can execute the simple tasks.

   Yes, Browning was running for his life – but he hasn’t even looked capable in executing basic elements of the offense. I don’t expect Flacco, or anyone we could have signed, to light up the world. Yet I fully expect the offense to have a noticeable improvement. We have to embrace the Wacko

6. Honestly, I would take it. Has a history of both being a winning franchise guy and a journeyman. And he’d still be older than some coaches out there nowadays.
