If we can’t score some runs off this guy we’re truly fucked for the future.
I watched some juicy pitches yesterday become standing strikes. I dont know if stats mean anything right now
Chase him before the end of the third and give the crowd something to cheer for and a big lead… the vibes will do a total 180

No excuses about rain messed them up.
No excuses about an not best stuff day.
Find a way to win. Mariners can’t score if El Mago and Perez catch every hit ball. Maybe it’s a ton of soft singles that just pile up in an inning. I don’t care if it’s flashy. Win the game.
Honestly I hope he goes Curt Schilling bloody sock on us and Scott Harris and Chris Illitch finally have to wear it.
They’ll get it done today. We go back to Seattle and push Skubal out there and y’all know what will happen when he pitches ..bats go cold as usual
Just win the fucking game
They crushed Caleb Ferguson who is way better than this guy.
As long as they score before Munoz/Brash/Speier get in they can force a game 5.
We’re gonna get no hit is all I’m seeing
Won’t matter because this team can’t hit the broad side of a barn right now
Mariners fan here. Hard to put into words how bad Bryce Miller has been this year. Velo is down. Command is off. And he’s just not been fooling anyone. I REALLY do not want to see a game 5 against Skubal again, but I, and all of Seattle, are not feeling very confident today lol. Good luck!
He will get his career high in k’s today
At this point it doesn’t really matter who pitches if we can’t hit.
We’ll make him look Cy Young today
So hes going 5 scoreless with 12ks
If this is the last game of the season and the Tigers lose to him, a World Series was never within reach.
Didn’t the Tigers chase him in Seattle before he could get three outs in April? I feel semi confident
We’re going to get no hit, aren’t we?
I mean, we’ve watched this offense for the better part of two months. They might work up his pitch count. They might even have a lot of traffic on the base paths. I don’t know how I’m supposed to believe for a second they’ll drive any of those runners in and we see Bryce Miller escape four ugly innings with no runs allowed.
so a no hitter is coming, the way we usually make bums look great. nice
Mariners fan here – just adding context. He’s never been healthy this season and it shows. He finished last year so strongly that there was 2025 dark horse Cy Young potential.
Like Logan and Kirby, there are huge question marks about which version of him will take the mound today. Of the three, Miller’s performance has been the worst coming off that injury.
I’m expecting a short leash and short pitch count.
We’re stellar at making mid pitchers look like cy young candidates so I’m not expecting much. I would LOVE for them to prove me wrong.
I’m no expert…. But I’m going to pretend to be one here. It seems to me with this awful hitting slump that we are in, there could be a benefit to slowing down bat speeds and focus on getting more contact. We don’t need to swing for a home run every single time.
He has been good in the past and was hurt a chunk of the year. I would also say he was trending upward for a bit at the end and the strikeouts started coming back. I would not count him out
And we’ll go 1 for 20 with RISP

Unfortunately half of our hitters’ statcast pages have just as much blue.
I don’t think the Tigers have faced Miller in 2025 but they’ve faced him 3 times between 23-24. His ERA is 0 with 15 K’s in 19 IP against the Tigers.

I expect Cy young stuff today
Have to imagine Miller is going to be on the shortest leash possible today. No way Seattle wants to push this to a game 5
Miller has been about as good as a batting practice pitcher this year. If the Tigers can’t score runs today, it was never going to happen.
Dudes about to have a career high in K’s
Misleading. Don’t sleep on him. He was dealing with an elbow issue most of the year. Was arguably their second best pitcher last season.
We’ve had 56 innings of playoff baseball and one inning with multiple hits and runs. This guy will probably throw 5 innings of shutout ball.
