  1. Thought we might rest Chourio today to not risk the hammy. A little nervous, but I guess I gotta trust Murph.

  2. Supposedly the wind is blowing in today. Good news for Priester and good news considering cubs rely on the HR far more than we do

  3. How come we haven’t been going with Collins in LF all series? Are they just opting to keep Chourio out of center field cause of the hamstring or did they really start to prefer to keep Chourio in the corner?

  4. I have a dumb meeting at 3P followed by an even dumber meeting at 4P. Here’s hoping for good news when I’m out at like 515P.

  5. Lockridge over collins and perkins feels like something a cpu would do in a video game. Perkins is so good defensively and, by my eye, seems to bat better from the left side of the plate. And getting Collins playoff at bats feels like it would benefit us in the long run, if not in this game itself. I’m gonna trust the process though. Lockridge 2 run triple loading.

  6. Anyone else find it weird Yelich has yet to do any of the pre or post game press events?

Who picks that? Is he opting out?

  7. Oh man I wish I could watch this one. Mighty Quinn on the mound for an elimination game at Wrigley Field. This game has got all the feels.

  8. Anybody who’s curious about Lockridge over Perk in CF. We’re all biased in favor of Perk cuz of what he’s done in the field but Lockridge is very good defensively.

    **Some Other Relevant Stats:**

**Batting Average vs RHP** (Right handed Starter today):
    Lockridge: .254
    Perkins: .206

    **K% vs RHP:**
Lockridge: 24% (I acknowledge this is only marginally “better”)
    Perkins: 29%

    **Sprint Speed:**
    Lockridge: 99th percentile
    Perkins: 91st percentile

  9. Did anyone take that Amtrak Brewers express train this morning? Just curious what it was like.

  10. I just want to see Brice get some solid contact. Seemed to have the nerves getting the better of him so far. Hes not doing terrible, I just want him to settle in.

  11. Per Sophia on x – Pat Murphy said with Jake Bauers and Brandon Lockridge getting starts today, it gives them more flexibility off the bench later in the game.

  12. Can we get some intel on whether or not granny Priester brought cookies for the team?

  13. Saw Lockridge in the lineup and knew it was time to come back to reddit. The Lockridge era will not soon be forgotten. Hit a bomb today king

  14. I wonder why so many people are still so surprised by unexpected roster construction with this team, or why anything would be unexpected at this point..

  15. Murph is turning the “he loves his vets” trope on its head. Miz, Chad Patrick, Lock. It’s a young man’s game after all.

  16. How do we feel about Chourio being back?

Personally, I’m a little nervous and don’t want him to push it too much

  17. TIgers already into the bullpen down 1-0 in the fourth. Probably a good plan with Mize anyway though

  18. Brewgooder Sun & Stone is the lager of choice today, paired with the city connect jersey
