Detroit Lions vs Kansas City Chiefs | Week 6 Game Preview

So, if Kansas City’s defense gave up 24 points to Jacksonville, how many will they give up to the number one offense in football? Lions averaging 35 a game after kind of sleepwalking to 37 versus Cincinnati last week, 5 for six in the red zone. They were trying those plays on Madden that never work. Most of the damage they suffered was after the game was kind of out of hand with protection this time and it’s intercepted by Angelone. They gave up 80 plus yards to two different receivers. Two touchdowns and over 100 yards to Jamar Chase. Again, if a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, did it make a sound? Does it matter? Lions gave up 85 rush yards to Cincinnati. Did give up over five a run. Just was barely noticeable. And Chiefs have to remember this is tackle football. No need to push the whole flag football movement in the middle of games. 13 penalties for 109 yards last week. So much for the whole refs are on their side theory. Kansas City called backto-back timeouts. And by rule, you cannot do that. It’s a 5yd penalty. It’ll still be first down. Kansas City has a 9 to6 lead on Detroit all time. This has been the week of revisiting offensive ineptitude. So, let’s hit their 1988 game. Okay, fine. Call it a defensive slugfest, if that sounds better. Williams equaled his personal best in sacks and is a positive force against the run. Joining Williams in passing situations is veteran Curtis Green, number 62. But the backbone of this improving unit is Keith Ferguson, number 77.     Lions will probably win but I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs win.
    Chiefs offense is waking up and the Lions have problems in their secondary.

  4. The no.# 1 pick of the week. Hands down. Everyone else can sit down. The NFL is struggling to find a great team in 2025. But this match-up between these two teams can make legit claims to who is number one. Here's why. The Chiefs have been the measuring stick for a decade. Since Mahomes got there, they've been so good for so long they have been the standard. But they will really be tested this Sunday when the Chiefs face the most proficient offense in the NFL. Detriot's offense is as good as a offense can look. Having scored 174 points in 5 games the most in franchise history. I hate to say it, but this game is all about the Chiefs. To prove to all the doubters and haters who say their dynasty is coming to a end. They cannot let the Lions come into the KINGDOM and bully them the way they did the Ravens. Dan Campbell's physical, aggressive play wants to prove that the Lions are the standard. Get your popcorn ready !!!

  7. Yeah this is THE primetime game. Now, as a Lions fan, I'm gonna say…we win. I'm not completely confident because we can always choke stuff like this away but I don't think we will. Still, we win by a touchdown at most, because Chiefs are going to be fighting hard to not lose again and go 2-4 after that embarrassing Jaguars game.

  20. Even if we lose at least I can still be excited about Rashee coming back next week… hope we win tho can’t start 2-4 with the broncos and chargers in the same division thst are 3-2 rn
