Dallas Cowboys NOT BACKING DOWN From TRASH TALK! Panthers PUT ON NOTICE!

I don’t really know what he mean by it. I just know we going to try to come out there and dominate, compete. [Laughter] [ __ ] up this week. You hear that? What do you think? Oh, man. He got to he got to back it up. Hold on. Hold on, bro. I can’t wait to get into this one. I could tell by the titles on these Dallas Cowboys interview videos, bro. This about to be a good one, man. Y’all be sure to leave a like, subscribe for Dallas Cowboys content. Let’s get right into this one because the Cowboys, hey, it’s a new day. Yes, it is. Let’s get right into it, bro, [Music] man. Shut your up. Oh, man. What is going on? These boys got to inject it with a dose of yin in the league. Here comes JC Horn. Just talk about the the fun in having these levels of competition in the NFL. Uh it’s always fun, you know, to compete, you know, I guess a top guy, you know what I mean? But like I said before, just trying to help the team win. I feel like last game that’s what a real team win look like when you dominate and you rack up a lot of points. What can you say about the Ryan Fenoy, his journey, his patience, his grind, and you know, for it to manifest the way it did against against I’ll probably say uh just something he’ been grinding for, you know, for a long time. just getting opportunity now and him, you know, exploiting it. Like I said, he had to wait 114, I think. Yeah. Exploiting the opportunity. Uh, and he been working the whole time. So, super proud of Flo. I love that GP has something nice to say about Flo, even though he hasn’t been around Flo as long as the other guys in the locker room. So, it’s kind of an unfair question to ask GP cuz I don’t know if he’s had enough time to really pay too much attention to Round Flow’s journey given that he’s trying to get adjusted to a new environment. But but I will say this. I really really like how I see all the players really supporting each other, man. CD, he’s out with an injury. He posted pictures of Ron Flenoy and stuff all over his story because he he baldled out. So, let’s keep going. Cowboy running back Rico Dallas said Cowboys better buckle up this week. Has that been any conversation at all in the room? How’s that handle? Nah, we be buckled. See, now this is when the reporters being messy is a good thing, man. Be messy for positive reasons for your team that you covering, man. Don’t be messy trying to catch one of your players slipping or something, man. catch one of the other players in the other market slipping and then let your players know that they got caught slipping. That’s the type of messy that I like up every week, bro. Uh I don’t really know what he mean by that. I just know we gonna try to come out there and dominate and compete. [Laughter] He said we we buckled up every week, bro. I don’t know what he mean by that [ __ ] I just know we about to come out there and try to dominate and compete. Okay, that’s one GP. He been doing super good. Uh you know, leaving his name on the game as far as a running back. I feel like that’s one of the most important things, you know, jukes, moves, bruising, you know what I mean? Uh, he’s for sure been doing his thing. Mar that touchdown play that you had against J. A lot of hand fighting on that play, but you were able to make it happen. Yeah, a lot of hand fighting. Uh, knowing he going to try to hold and grab a lot. Uh, so I was definitely trying to not get caught up in that mid route. It was a post route. Kind of got him off the release and then Dak put the ball up. D was saying something about run. Yeah. Yeah, definitely tried to get a step on him because we know he can’t, you know, he has a hard time playing the ball in the air. So, uh, that’s all D was saying, you know. Did you know before the play that was coming to you? Yeah. When D said run, you like, “Okay, this.” Oh, yeah. Most definitely uh definitely with an opportunity. You know, we coming out the third. I think we had a drive before that. We wanted to score then, but we went three and out. So, when we got back out there, it was definitely like, let’s put up another one. How do you develop patience over the years going back into college when you know defenses are going to target you, try to take you out? Uh just stay cool. Uh kind of like you said, once you know the motive, I feel like a lot of players go in a game and they say they know the motive, but when you see it actually happen like somebody try to push me extra, then I instantly know like trying to get. You see what I mean? Like, so when you recognize and know, you definitely don’t let them guys take you over the edge. You see that on film? I like that. that that must be some of that wisdom and experience cuz that ys uh just definitely with me personally I can’t like really speak with other teams but definitely with me I kind of figured out I’m so good that’s the only way you can try to take me down a game in terms of being patient does it help that you’ve also had consistency like you know balls haven’t come to you I mean the touchdown came in the second half but that’s straight week touchdown is it does that help with being patient uh I probably just say every day just learning because that’s kind of what I’ve been doing now just every day taking one day at a time uh and everything’s going I feel like everything’s going to happen for itself what can you say about this this young offensive line I mean you guys were down four starters on the offensive line went up against one of the better defensive lines in the league. Look at Pickkins here. Tell he a football player. He don’t care. He said, “I got a Eddie monster. I don’t give a damn. I’m about to be a monster.” I mean, they held up way better than most people outside the building would have expected. Uh, I definitely say kind of like what you said. Uh, guys working. That’s kind of like what I’ve seen a lot this previous couple weeks with guys being out and guys being injured. I’ve been seeing a lot of guys like Flo, you know, rookie O line just stepping up and, you know, just producing. I feel like they’ve been working their whole life forward, too. So there’s definitely something to fall out. How many shoties helped with all the moving parts on offense? How’s he helped keep you guys confident and keep you guys maybe maybe ready to go? Uh kind of like what I said always in the beginning. The energy uh you know every day is not going to be bright, but you got a guy like Shotty who come in with good energy every day makes you want to get forward to the next day and get better. What’s the impact Clayton Nat has had on the offense? Clay been super good. Uh he’s always, you know, mostly with the O line. Stop it. Reporters, stop it. Let us enjoy good things for at least a couple seasons, bro. Damn, y’all about to hype Clayton Adams up. Y’all know how powerful our our our market is. Y’all about to hype Clayton’s Adam up right out of Dallas, bro. Stop. Definitely gap schemes and he know his he knows a lot about gap schemes in the O line where guys are supposed to be up. So, I feel like Clayman is doing a great job. Already tied a careerh high touchdowns. Uh could you dreamed of a start like this? I mean five has been your most. You got five in five games. I mean for 17. Yeah. Uh, I’ll probably say just one day at a time. Most definitely. Uh, like you said, it’s career high, but all I can say is, you know, the guys, Dak, young O line stepping up cuz it’s my first year, so they definitely help me out as well. Can you sense how much CD’s chomping at the back? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I seen him out there today. Seen him out there last week. Uh, he was talking to me today. I feel like uh he’s getting closer and closer and closer. He’s been in the lab as well, so we welcome to have him back to as soon as he come back. It seems like you’re having fun. How much How much fun would you would you say you’re having right now? Uh, I feel like I’m having fun. That’s the thing. I feel like I was always having fun. I just feel like the uh the narrative never showed me having fun. Uh, and that’s true because Pickkins got a cool personality. I like him. But I feel like right now it’s just a good thing, you know, for the team. Like I said, all of us collectively, we just working together every day. How many handshakes you got? You got You got one for everybody. Like 40, bro. Anyway, I just got one with uh Jane Blue the other day. He just been getting the game and working himself in. I just got a handshake with him. So feel like another one going to come flow. He’s been, you know, so uh you just, you know, it’s kind of, you know, we see each other every day. So they’ll definitely remind me if I forget and then vice versa. Did Zach work on that celebration in the tunnel for a while? Oh yeah, yeah, definitely. That’s me and D celebration. Uh, and I was just super, you know, happy. Ah, that’s him and D celebration. Jumping up and down. What does that mean? Uh, that’s just like a celebration me and him have I wear number three. We do this. Pretty simple. [Laughter] Hey man. Hey. Hey. I like GP, bro. Appreciate man. He funny as hell. That dude. He cool. You know, it’s it’s just early in the season, you know. Uh there’s no reason to I mean we had a lot of ups and downs. There’s no reason to panic especially like on this early in the season. So um I just think they really did a good job of just just staying steady and just focusing on the process. Um cuz I think at the end of the day uh the result is going to be the result. But as long as our as our process is right, uh we’ll be good through the tape from Sunday. Top couple things you guys really think you can build off of and gain some momentum. Uh just keep playing with our physicality. Uh just you know all all the things that we talk about being violent, uh running to the ball, uh punching at the ball, being physical. Um, and it all started how we practiced. I think we had a really good practice today. Uh, it was a physical practice. Um, and we know we got another physical team that we going to be playing against. And, uh, you know, we got to, we got to be, uh, be right. Rico said to welcome this week. Let me hear that. What do you think? Uh, man, he got to he got to back it up. Hold on. Hold on, bro. Man, say yo, where is my Ah, I can’t find God dang it. Way over there, man. Say man say you know I’m not much into talking. Um they ain’t play nobody like us and uh we ain’t played them. So uh he’ll watch the film and see see what he playing against. Grown grown man conversation bro. grown man conversation emotional because this is his own team fashion. Yeah. Uh I mean yeah he he can be emotional. I know he was coming off a 200 yard game so he’s probably feeling real good. Uh but um yeah it’s going to be it’s going to be a battle in the trenches for sure. Hey these new Cowboys said we ain’t taking none of that talking greasy. Y’all going to have to see us on the field. Acknowledged. See you Sunday. WA this game said you guys will be [ __ ] head coach Bry said you guys will be Yeah. I mean yeah we got all hands on deck man and uh you know we’ve been preparing our ass off and and working and uh like I said today we had a really good good start to that day. Uh good run period a good I mean a little bit of everything and uh you know it was a great practice good physical practice. Came a little late for you? No, I mean I mean he said it. He gota he got to be the one to prove it. And uh like I said, I’m worried about our process and what we doing. We had a physical practice today. Uh you know, great practice ran running to the ball, doing all the right things. And that’s all we focus on. done, bro. Y’all got to get a hund done. Uh we just did a good job at at just getting stops and um we got more opportunities. You know, when you get uh when you when you get a chance to get stops in our offense playing the way we playing and teams got to catch up and we know they going to pass, uh you know, we be able to pin our ears back and get more drop back opportunities and be able to rush and uh we see what we can do. Patience with the passes because we’ve been talking about it all year and now all of a sudden maybe a break. I I think we I think we we I mean all of us we can rush. Um, you know, it’s just those opportunities and I think as as much as we keep getting comfortable with that, uh, keep getting stops, keep keep playing playing sound defense and keep playing good defense, uh, it’d be way more a lot more opportunities like that and we have more games like that. What’s it like pass rushing a quarterback like Bryce Young that’s smaller than that average passer? Uh, man, it’s good. I mean, I mean, as a as a defensive lineman, you want to, you know, push the guys in front of him and, uh, you know, he can’t, he’s not going to be able to really see in front of, I mean, in front of those guys. Uh, so, uh, you know, that’s the plan. You know, just make sure you push in the pocket. Um, you know, he’s elusive in there, too. Got to get some hits on him. Um, but you know, he’s he’s a good athlete and uh and he can throw throw the hell out of the ball. So, uh, we got to be prepared for that. Stylist, how do you think veteran answers get you guys to play free? Uh, I mean, just uh just focusing on our fundamentals, focusing on our techniques. Um, you know, that’s where we going to get our confidence is just from practice. Uh, so I mean I mean that’s all we talk about is just being being able to come in at practice and have our one of our best days. I love the personalities of the new dudes we brought in. Y’all, man, come on, man. Treat it like a game. These boys grown ass late, especially on defense and and getting better with that. Uh, huge. It was huge. I mean, I think it’s going to build a lot of our confidence. Um, you know, you see, I mean, all the energy has been great all week. Um, so we got to just keep that going. I mean, the more you win and the more guys start feeling good about their performances and all that kind of stuff, the more confidence guys going to come in come back with uh during the week. So, it’s good to see. What’s your morning routine going into the game? Man, I just pray. I just like read my Bible. I read Psalms. Mr. Chris Arnold. Shout out to Mr. Chris Arnold. Man, I I had a chance to sit down and actually do an interview with him. He cool people. Um 112 about um the righteous man. I just, you know, reflect on how my life is and how it’s been going and just, you know, go out there and play my heart out. You look at the Carolina Panthers. Stephanie Flo. Yes, sir. Thank you. Got you. Now you got a mob. Yeah. Do you know who Miles Austin is? Yeah, I heard of him. What when did when did it come up? After the game or another? So I like I mean growing up I watched football so I heard I knew he wore 19 and you know the reason I got 19 is because Miles Austin and Mari Cooper. So I just I like wanted I just feel like I play like them big and you know fast and just finesse and um just wanted to keep that tradition for real. That’s why so that’s the reason why you Yeah, honestly. Yeah, for real. Oh crazy. That’s actually pretty cool at all. No n reached out because he had a splash game too against Kansas City. Kind of came out of nowhere. Yeah, I heard I didn’t know that part. I just knew of his name and I just after I um had the game I had people been saying comparing me to him just you know he’s a small school guy and he had what 200 against Kansas City one year and just popped off. Yeah. So um I just got to keep stacking and you know get that. How important are strong hands for a receiver? Man super important. You know we can’t catch the ball. That’s our whole job is to catch the ball and be reliable to you know the quarterback. You know when the ball in the air just having strong hands you know in a league like this you know defenders going to be on you. So you got to be able to catch in traffic or catch with you know people around you. So strong. Damn. What would you do? Eat a box of chicken before this mug like you think people underestimate your speed a little bit or your size like cuz you broke a couple tackles there. Yeah. Uh they might do. I didn’t I mean I always knew I was fast and you know quick. Um you know people don’t know who Ryan Sono is but you know I just want them to know now. So I guess they got to watch out for that now. This offse I’ve been working on everything. Working on my balance, my route running. Um I feel like my route running got way better. Um, I’ve been working with Ronnie the Truth, um, here at McKenna and just he’s been, you know, a great mentor to me and just working on my strength, my contact balance, my, uh, tracking the ball, my hand placement, just everything. VR glasses to help with that. How do you track the ball? So, we use tennis balls. We um, just rolling around, tracking the ball, just getting like some uncomfortable positions to catch the ball. You said people didn’t know who Ryan is. Do they know? Oh, yeah. They should know. I hope they know. Is it important to get out there and have another game to sack? Right. Oh, yeah. It’s super important. I feel like if you can do it once, you got to do it be able to do it twice. You know, that’s that’s just how I’m looking at this game. You know, I’m happy that I got the, you know, the 114, but if I can’t do it twice, it don’t mean nothing. I got to keep stacking. And I just know like that’s where I’m headed. Dak seems to be confident. No matter what the ball may be coming, right? Yeah. I’m that’s that’s a blessing, you know, just to have a trust from a a guy like Dak just to have his trust, you know. I just got to give it all up to God because everything I’m striving for, he sees. Amen. What stands out to you just kind of going off of that about Dak’s ability to elevate any receipt, including a guy like you who hasn’t been getting a ton of target. Damn. And you see how he cut his eyes out? He was like, including a guy like you, Robert Flo said. Yeah. That just shows you how great he is as a quarterback and as a leader, you know, you take, you know, um that’s a crazy question to ask a guy. You pretty much making them sound like lunch beat cool that nobody know about and you know able to dish him the ball and able to show off. Man, that just shows you who he is. We’ve spoken with guys like Tolbert and others who in the offseason they’ve been trying to be that guy that’s like always going to Dak’s house and you know getting the throws in. What kind of experience have you had with Exactly? No, same. Yeah. When Dak say I’m throwing at this time and I’ll try to be there 15 minutes early and stretch and be ready when he’s ready and just be reliable that and just know that he could trust me. God dang Flo, you was Yeah, I mean, he can say what he wants. He He played a great game last week. Um, but, you know, we’ll play the game on Sunday. How do you guys feel after the Jets game coming in there defensively, getting some turnovers and doing some of the things you said you were working through? Um, it feels great to take a step in the right direction. You know, that’s that’s what we want to do every week. We want to get better this week. Um, keep taking steps the right direction. Um, showing who we need to build on that. Um, and just get better. You know, that’s that’s the key to the whole season. It’s a long season. Get better every week. Um, and you know, that that’s that’s a goal. Pass really came alive against the Jets. What do you think worked to get home this time? Um, guys were just rushing together. You know, the communication was great. Um, you know, James had a great game. O had a great game. Kenny had a great game. You know, I could name everyone on the D line. They were just rushing and getting home, hitting the quarterback. You know, it was a it was a great rush game for us and we just got to keep building on that. Was there anything different about the communication or it was just finally aligning? No, the communication was good. Um, and so, you know, guys were on the same page. Um, you know, games were working, back end was great. We were great up front getting home. But wait, there’s more. We got another one, y’all. Let’s get it. How you feeling? I’m good. I’m good. I’m good. Everything should be good. You know, a little pain, but everything’s straight. That kind of word is right now. It’s a pain tolerance versus, you know, limiting thing or where’s it kind of? No, it’s pretty much like how I’m moving right now cuz I went out there with Brad did a little rehab on the field today. They basically trying to see, you know, how I’m moving full speed. I kind of I kind of jog today and everything was good. So, we just taking it day by day. How painful is this fact that you’re not on the field? Oh, I say nine out of 10. You feel me? Know, everybody want to go out there, you know, show what they can do. So, but uh by the end of day, I’m glad the young guys doing what they n out of 10. You should have said 10 out of 10. A great day. So hopefully he he’ll do it again this week. Yeah. How much fun was that to watch him break out like that? All right. So it sound like we ain’t gonna have Turk. It was fun. You know, Flo, he’s one of those guys. No, don’t talk, you know, don’t say too much. You know, every time he every time his number call, he go out there and perform. So, you know, I’m happy. He always keep his head down, don’t say too much, and always go perform. You know, I’m happy for him. And what’s it like watching George Pickkins? He just seems so happy every week. He’s already got a career high for touchdown catches this season. I just say, man, with him, man, he just he bring the energy, man. You know, he he everybody say he he this type of guy, but I say he a group of guy, man. He always smile. Yeah, he seem like everybody else. DP seemed like a goofball, bro. In a good way. In a good way. So, you know, that’s my guy, you know, we always, you know, try to make try to make everybody smile in the building. How did you how did you figure out your handshake? Uh, we we uh we just did stuff in training cow, you know, just messing around and somehow kind of work, you know, and I did we did the Georgia shut up and like did the Louisiana kind of dance, you know, kind of fit both of them in there. So, that’s how it worked. He said he’s got like 40 different handshakes. Are you impressed he’s able to remember? No, no, handshake’s kind of different, man. You know, it it ain’t too hard to remember if once you do it two or three times, you know, it’s kind of muscle memory. Then, is Sunday a possibility for you? Uh, no, no, probably not. You probably Damn, bro. Y’all asked him about 18 handshake questions back probably watching week, you know, that’s probably be that’s the goal they lean on to when this offense is getting guys at career highs like Devonte and Flo and you’re seeing all this stuff. How much confidence does that build for you guys in the coaching staff and Dag and the quarterback and just kind of making those things happen? I just say man it build confidence with everybody. You know, I feel like everybody buying in, you know, just like you saying next man up, you know, Flo went out here and did his thing. Javvante kept doing this thing so every other week. I just say man just show you that know everybody buying into pass defense going in like they played last week you know we going we going to be a precious team can you see how Eva under speedy Gonzalez head productive run game helps Dak and everything he does yeah anything you know I feel like um you know run game quick game I feel like everything going to help anything especially if you got a run game in NFL you got to be able to run the ball so I feel like no matter where you should be able to run the ball and I feel like Dak doing you know at MVP conference right now the way the run game was struggling early last year you know you’re at without you if you’re against CD Do you think Dak would be able to do what he’s doing now if he didn’t have that run? Well, you know, I can’t really tell you they know. What the [ __ ] man? What kind of goofy ass question was that? You think Dak would be doing what he’s doing now if he didn’t have a run game? Who asked him that, bro? Get him out the mosh pit. Things, you know, it’s a new year, you feel me? So, I say now, you know, I’m going how we playing this year. You feel me? So, I say Javante doing his thing and know I feel like it’s helping Dag, you know, why Dak having the uh MVP year. You surprised Turpp, don’t let them set you up like that no more. Turp need more PR training. He should have just left it at that. Man, I can’t say this a new year and then just stopped. Rico with the buckle up comment. Uh, no. No, I know. You know, at the same time, I feel like uh, you know, everybody should talk their stuff, you feel me? I feel like, you know, Rico was here last year, you know, and I feel like he he ready for us to he to go against us. So, I don’t feel like that’s a bad comment or anything. I feel like they should be ready, you feel me? So, I’m I’m happy he feel like that. You feel like you understand his motivation? I’m happy that the last five years, you know, and I feel like know this the team that he he going to go against, you I feel like he want to he want to show he want to show us something. So I’m I’m happy he feeling like that. You share a locker. He said I’m happy he feeling like that. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. He seems so nice to us and kind of quiet, but he’s so physical in the game. How does how does that dynamic look for you in terms of how physical he is? You know, I try, you know, I’m a little guy, but I try to try to run like him when I got the ball. You know, that’s exciting, you feel me? Just, you know, you know, he not too big and he be out there running through guys, you know, so when I see that, it hype me up and they make me want to go, you feel me? Give me the ball, let me run through somebody. So I feel like that’s how everybody go, you know, just seeing him do the way he run. Did you see a switch flip with him? Always, you know, he he he a quiet guy, but he on that field, you know, it’s like he the terminator, you feel me? He turned to like that metal stuff, you feel me? Like hard to get him. Could you tell this was coming back in camp just the way he was practicing? Uh, no. Not really. I ain’t even going to cap, you feel? No, I I a see that, you know, we not really tackling, you know, we just, you know, thumping, you feel me? Because you can’t really see guys taking guys down, but I knew he was run hard. I didn’t know he just gonna be running through guys like the way he is, though. Appreciate y’all. What are the strengths of this linebacking court? Uh, getting downhill. Um, you know, make sure everybody, you know, get lined up. Um, and then just making plays. Um, you know, final round. I think we got a good group. Um, just us just trying to, you know, keep everybody on the same page. Um, and then just go out there and communicate high level and then, you know, make tackles, make plays. Before last game, Shotty wanted you guys to force fumbles and you did. Are you satisfied with the amount of turnovers you guys create? No. You know, we definitely know there’s more on the table for us. Um, and so I think we’re focused on, um, being able to create more takeaways for the offense and get the ball back to them. Um, and so, yeah, that that’s definitely an emphasis for us this week is just trying to get the ball back to them as much as possible. you satisfied with where you’re at in this season? Uh, I think it’s been it’s been good so far. Um, you know, never really satisfied, you know, always trying to try to get better. Quit asking, are you satisfied? Who’s asking it goofy ass question? For me, I’m just trying to continue to just stack go out there and just put my best foot forward. Um, I think, you know, it’s definitely a lot more to come, a lot more lot. Are you satisfied? And so, yeah, I mean, you know, it’s been it’s been good so far. Um, you know, pretty healthy for for the most part. Um, which is a blessing. So, just trying to continue to stack. Rico Doubt’s comments about buckling up. Did that make the locker room and your thoughts on that comment? I mean, yeah. No, we definitely we definitely heard about it. Um, I mean, you know, we’ll see we’ll see on Sunday. That’s all I got to say about it. Rico and what kind of guy coming up 200 yards that they’re going to try and ride the same thing. I mean, who knows? We’ll see on Sunday, but I mean, obviously, you know, you know, he’s a a back that, you know, he had a good game last game. Um, you know, rushed for 200 something yards. And so, I think for us, you know, it’s going to be important for us to just hone in on our our keys, hone in on playing, um, run defense as a unit. um and just going out there and just flying around. So um you know obviously everybody’s asking the question about the comments and you know the things that he said um you know obviously he was he was a player that was here before and so you know we’ll leave it up to Sunday and see what happens five games in now. How can you describe for people just that process to get comfortable and how you’ve gotten more comfortable over time? Uh I mean yes it’s an ongoing process. It’s always an ongoing process I think. Um, you just continue to just try to get better. Um, and try to see things faster, try to see things cleaner. Um, and just continue to just go out there and fly around. Um, you know, I think, you know, making the transition over to my boys, them boys lip getting uh wet as hell on the side. So, they talking these interview K9 got something about to start uh precipitating over the game last week. Um, you know, seeing things a little bit differently from this what I see it will. So, um, just trying to just go out there and just, you know, have a clean process with the things that I see with my eyes and just go out there and play fast. So, I think, you know, I did that last week and I’m trying to continue to do that this week. The unit was trying to click with flu assist what he wants to do. There’s been so much talk about man and zone where there’s some moments in New York where you you saw certain things click that was really kind of reassuring. Yeah, I think we I think collectively we we play really well in terms of rushing coverage and I think you know, you ever kind of see the coverage come together and they give the D line another tick, a second to get to quarterback. Um, and so, um, you know, it’s always, you know, you know, the rest working with the coverage and, you know, both of those teams working together. And so, I think, you know, we’re able to see some some positive things in New York. Um, but I think for us, it’s a lot of stuff that we still need to clean up and still need to grow on. Absolutely. Defense. Yeah. We don’t need to be talking like I don’t need no ball on defense talking like they they in good shape, but they not. He keeps showing us. You feel confident as it’s growing? Yeah. I mean, I definitely feel like, you know, we’re taking the right steps. I think, you know, we have this saying that, you know, we only have what’s on the grass. um in pertains to, you know, what we do on on the practice field. And so we really have been taking that extremely, you know, important as to how we prepare for these games, just going out there and practicing the right way, putting our best foot forward every every day. Um and so, yeah, you’re seen some good things on Sunday. Um but we got to keep it up. Buckle up this week. What we say? He said, “Guys, we buckle up this week.” Well, they say uh no, that’s for the head. A hard head like a soft ass. Wait, no, that’s not No, that’s not the same. Oh, we just don’t talk. We just going to see. [Music] I love the energy though. Sam, but Sam cavemaned out right there, bro. I guess. Yeah. That feel a little disrespectful. No, Ro good. Like he’s a good running back, but uh what he did 260. We ain’t going. I’ll just say we ain’t going. Yeah, he said we ain’t going. Yeah, we buckled up. Car seat. We all at We ready. You surprised to hear that from him? No. No. Y’all don’t know Rico. Rico played here uh since I got here. I think this is my first year playing without him. Rico, that’s Rico. Yeah. Yeah. And he backed it up. He backed it up. I ain’t going to lie. But it’s going to be a tough one. Less time. Um I just feel like we like the last I said we uh we just like percolate and you could tell with the pass rush uh with the communication from the back field to the uh the trenches like we was all on one page and was ready to go. So you guys you guys had good success getting the price. I think six sacks, seven sacks these last two games. What has kind of led to that? Uh just communication. Um knowing when it’s pass and run um formations. I don’t know. It’s just like we we just we just click, you know, like the extra meetings, the Sam Williams, man. He is C ball, get ball, bro. See quarterback, chase quarterback. It’s working. So I feel like uh we just keep doing that and the more’s going to come. Sam, how has Shotti maybe kept the confidence in the team up just the different units of just based on all the ups and downs? You guys had so much. Uh one thing about Shotty, he don’t change and that’s that’s the most thing like that’s the thing we’ve heard that the consistency cuz he he always tells we got to compete and you know we go out there and compete every every game we compete. It’s unusual to prepare for a quarterback that’s not in your division. You know, three years ago Cowboys were playing. What have you seen with his growth in Oh, I I don’t know the growth. I don’t I don’t watch him. Uh I played against him in college and know I s him in Alabama, but that’s about it, but I don’t really watch him. Uh like the growth I wouldn’t say about Yeah, these crazy ass questions. The growth. You think Sam Williams is about to give you some in-depth analysis about the growth of a quarterback? Really? the past season, the past games. I mean, he’s I don’t know how to answer that. I’m sorry. How important is it for you guys to stack another win on top of what you got? I feel like every win is important. Uh, another win, three wins, all the wins. I just feel like that’s what that’s that’s our plan. Just keep stacking. Appreciate it. The game just about his path. Who is this? Remember that? Oh, I was like, who? I was like, who the hell is this? This ain’t Ferg and it ain’t Luke. It ain’t Hunter Loop Key. So, who the hell is this? Yeah. So, we had a conversation at dinner. Um, and honestly, I’ve been nitpicking, you know, Dak’s brain a little bit just because I see how much of a great leader he is every single day and, you know, what he does on a daily basis. So, you know, I’ve just been, you know, asking him questions and stuff. And, uh, he honestly just hit me with, you know, you just got to trust yourself and trust your your capabilities and, you know, once again, you know, when your name’s called, you just got to make it count and once your opportunity comes, um, you know, there’s a lot of politics and, you know, where people go in this business and, but once you get plugged in, you just got to stay plugged in. And, uh, you know, he’s been great. He’s uh g me a lot of insight, you know, just mentally and, you know, spiritually. Um, we were actually talking about this one quote just talking about, you know, you know, his journey and everything and then it got brought up in in chapel uh Saturday night before the game. So, it’s it’s been pretty cool. And, you know, he’s been a great leader. Pretty cool stuff right there, man. Pretty cool stuff. All right, though, y’all. Very, very dope stuff all around right there, man. Uh, Dallas Cowboys, they ain’t playing that stuff, Rico. They ain’t playing with you, boy. I can’t wait for Sunday. I I didn’t think I was going to be this excited about the Carolina Panthers matchup. Now I am. How about them Cowboys? Calling me, texting me, paging me, asking me, “Am I still?” Y’all usually check on me. Listen, listen, listen. I’m still Hey, I’m still them boys.
