I find it interesting how at the first sign of hardship, Ravens fans immediately turn to firing Harbaugh. Sound familiar?

  1. You’re not comparing a team who has repeated playoff wins over the past decade to the team that hasn’t made it past the wild card round right?

Edit: for those who struggle not to spill beer down their face when they drink, I’m saying comparing valid criticism of Tomlin’s mediocrity to mouth breathers yelling for Harbaugh’s head after one rough start is disingenuous.

  2. Fuck the Ravens and all but I think their fans have been pretty vocal about firing Harbaugh for at least the last 3 years now.

  3. I don’t know how having half your first string out injured could be fixed by firing the head coach.

  4. I have a feeling once one of them gets fired then other one will soon after. Which happens first idk. Also feels like they’ll both have a similar story to Andy Reid

  5. Obviously I can’t stand the ravens but if you can’t tell they’re well coached year after year you don’t watch enough teams

  6. It’s almost like they have also been a slightly above average organization for over a decade and have very little to hang their hat on other than early playoff exits

  7. If anything it shows Ravens fans have a high standard. Here in Pittsburgh we accept the mediocre 8-10 wins and a playoff massacre.

    It’s night and day.

  8. I mean they’re us just a different tier. We’re good enough to win a playoff game but can’t do it, and they’re good enough to win a Super Bowl but can’t do it.

  9. Tomlin and Harbaugh are so similar. Steelers fans act like tomlin sucks and harbaugh is 100x better. Same with Ravens fans. I’ve heard it from their mouths they think tomlins a lot better. Maybe football coaches are more effective when they’re not stuck in 1 place their whole career. Maybe both teams should really just move on and swap coaches. Lol

  10. If we had a 2x MVP and arguable top 10 QB at the helm and performed poorly then sure

  11. Imagine the 2017 Steelers season but basically every year since 2019. That’s Harbaugh’s ravens. Harbaugh is the guy yinzers think Tomlin is.

  12. You act like ravens fans calling for him to be fired is a new thing? They didn’t do it at the first sign of hardship they’ve been doing it for years

  13. i find it interesting that people think these are first signs with either harbaugh or tomlin rather than an accumulation of years of similar results

  14. So the Tomlin lovers are coming out of the Homer Simpson bush again because the D is opportunistic and Aaron Rodgers still has gas in the tank

  15. No, it doesn’t. I believe Harbaugh actually built his team when he won the Super Bowl, and has actually been relevant in the playoffs recently. So I mean, you can say it all you want but, it’s not the same.

  16. Meh.. I think it’s kind of justified obviously he is losing the locker room, not to mention the 17 times the ravens had the lead entering the fourth quarter and loss while having an MVP quarterback who is still in his prime yes his team has been injured, but that’s no excuse

  17. Yes, I think it would be beneficial for both franchises to move on, it’s getting stale. We’ll see how this season goes, but we’ve been saying that for awhile now and it always ends the same way.

  18. I think theres been 4 signs of hardship this season and quite a few the last couple of years.

  19. Something something playoff wins, but they will conveniently ignore having an MVP quarterback and what does to your teams overall performance

  20. We make critical mistakes in all three phases in every game. We have bad penalty stats. We have really only been able to consistently beat the bengals the other teams with elite qbs and have crushed us over the last five years.

Need a shakeup realistically we have 2-4 more years of elite qb play. He’s not a bad coach but it’s run its course.

  21. I like to cure the still massive Front office problems first. Unless Tomlin has a lot more control of that than commonly reported.

GM front office way more important than most coaches.

Fans wrongly thinking coaches can regularly turn poor quality players into champions thanks to fiction and rare very lucky cases that cannot be duplicated long term.

Crappy coaching when they lose locker room can cause bad play but never see much of a claim that way with Tomlin.

Of course owners not going to fire him what ever fans think so this sort of spinning wheels situation.

  22. That’s just how it goes with long term coaches. Although few said it out loud, most Steelers fans were ready for Chuck Noll to retire.

  23. You said….”he blew an Achilles on the second play of the game. THAT STILL HAPPENS HERE AND THEY PLAY MASON”. And I thought….what an idiotic comment. Hmmmm…..would he injure his Achilles the exact same day and play as he did as a jet. Good lord man.
