Dudes about to never have to pay for a meal in Detroit again with one more great moment.
Ok
Truly one of the most clutch at bats this season.
I love how many bone saws we saw today lol
Still not sure why he’s not starting
Why doesn’t he play more often? Is it AJ platoon madness?
I think Jones is the spark plug for the team. Dude plays with heart it’s palpable and comes up clutch.
And also. El friggin Mago. Just have to say it, I think Javy plays his best when it counts on bigger stages.
If you told me a year ago the two jerseys I’d want the most are Baez and Jones I’d be like “huh” lol
Throughout the whole bad stretch he’s been one of the brightest spots
I call him the Donnie Kelly of this team. Doesn’t play everyday but is the PH guy you can call on when needed and has the same positive vibe Kelly had back in the day.
As a member of the Jahmai Jones fan club, I appreciate this post. Man deserved more ABs regardless of who was pitching earlier in the season, but AJ stuck with the platoon.
I tell you what. I was a hater. I am not anymore. Love this guy.
I am excited to see him playing for South Korea in March. Happy for him he is getting the chance to play for his mothers country.
Thus dude seriously looks straight out of the 80’s. Im convinced hes a time traveler.
Genuinely believe he’s the most emotional player on this team (save for maybe Vest and Skub). We need that fire! I hope AJ sees what he started tonight and considers him over someone like Wenceel for G5.
Don’t know why Hinch has been sitting him so much in the postseason. He was the Tigers best hitter in September. He needs more playing time.
Did he earn his spot on the roster next year with this little run he has had?

Norfolk Tides legend Jahmai Jones
Truly a mustache of all time
Wish he played more!
