We Proved What Type of Team We Are | Press Conference
For starters, just how good does it feel to be in a in a winning locker room. Oh man, it feels great. You know, you can tell the energy around here, you know, everybody’s feeling great on the win. You know, got to keep going though. You knew right away that ball was out early. You were signaling everybody. Uh just what what are you thinking at that point? Oh, yeah. I knew it was out, you know. I just hoping the refs would be on my side. What kind of message you think, you know, that hustle and that effort? Like what does that send to the rest of the team? Oh, man. You know, it’s just a message to who we are as a team, you know, resilient. We say we that and you know, we fight into the fourth quarter until you know no time left in the court. Did you ever get to the ball or did he lose it as you were approaching him? And do you think you influenced it by Yeah, I definitely influenced it. I saw it. It was loose in there, so just took the shot. Did you hear him like after it? Any any noises out of him or? No, he didn’t he didn’t he didn’t say anything. He was hoping it was a touchdown, but I knew it wasn’t. I think Luke Bleak at 216. How did you guys kind of phase this rally? You know, we we we preach it every week. Resiliency, you know, keep going to the end. you know that’s what we did and that’s what we prove what type of team we are what was the feeling when this when the kick went to the goal post uh it went great you know everybody was happy you know felt like you know won I don’t know what we won or something but you know it felt great as a as a team we came here and celebrated you know but more work to do on the other side of that how was it to see Cam kind of respond after having some struggles oh man it’s great to see Cam you know I went up to him after you know when we came in here told him to keep going just you know believe in himself believe in everybody else you know around you amazed that ball don’t come loose in that situation. I mean, it was years ago where we saw a guy do that for the first time. You would think everybody going into the end zone would cover up now, which seemed like a couple of months. Yeah. He thought he was free. He think nobody was chasing after him. He thought he was in the end zone already. You know, you know, just take a shot at it. What point in that run? But just everyone kept fighting in all phases and uh you know, at the end we had to we had to make a stop. We got the stop and offense had to have it. Made a play go down there. It’s uh it’s a great feeling. It’s a great feeling. How would you describe the mood in here when you guys came back in after the game? Just I don’t know, just gratitude, joy, you know what I mean? All that uh excuse me, but just happy as hell. Just happy as hell. How impressive was the hustle, that amazing amazing that saved us. And uh you know, we were talking on the sideline, everyone do your job and just when the time comes, just make a play and that was it. You don’t know how it’s going to show up, but you know, the effort by him to just run him all the way down like I don’t know what was it 70 yards or something like that. I mean, that’s just that’s awesome. And from a defensive standpoint, they get the ball left, you got to get a stop. What was kind of mindset when you guys went back out there? Everyone do your job. You know, if everyone if everyone’s playing their 111 doing their job, you know, we’re a good we’re a damn good defense. We do that. So, that was the biggest thing was just do your job and the plays will come to you. What do you think about the offense on that drive and then Joey making a game winner? Awesome. That’s how it that’s how it should be every Sunday. You know what I mean? Competitive game coming down to the end and when you got to have it, make your plays and like Joey making his play, making his kick and that’s it’s a win. Kind of a lot going on in my head. Was dealing with a little something pregame and into the game. So, was kind of battling. Um able to to get get ready to go for most of the game. Felt good on that pat was stuck in a little bit of a rut over there on that that hash. Me and Chad kick from the same side. So if you look over there, there’s like a freaking uh huge valley in the in the grass over there. So um planted just freaking took a about three inches of dirt behind the ball as well. So uh just kind of bounce back know that what I was doing was successful going into the game and um just if opportunity came, I was able to be successful on the next opportunity. The amount of losing. Yeah, I mean uh that was a culmination of I think a lot of losses coming together and win. Um, I think anytime you’re able to win in the NFL, uh, the amount of bets that we have in this team that know how hard it is to get a win, um, you can kind of see the jubilation that they had on the field. Uh, that’s the game-winning ball. Yeah, Morgan went and retrieved it. Morgan’s been, uh, a part of a lot of gamewinning balls, so he knows how knows how to do this. So, um, he went and was able to get it for us. What are you going to do with that? Probably put it in the house. What do you say about the locker here that put you in a position to uh to kick the field goal? Yeah, I mean um for for me obviously having the opportunity to kick is one thing. Uh but for the offense to put us down in that situation was huge. Um Cam has been sticking with his process, sticking with his game plan as well. Uh he’s growing as a as a rookie and it’s been awesome to watch from afar. Uh so the incredible work the offense did against us down in field and just was great and that’s that’s a good feeling. And we also took those and made plays off them. So um that’s just doing what you got to do to win and we did it. You mentioned how important it was to get this taste in your mouth. Now you guys got the WC. Yeah, I think you still have to be able to move on move on the next week, but we’re going to enjoy it for now, but obviously a little more pep on our step, a little more confidence going forward and knowing that we can get a win and we got one and just carrying that forward. Yeah, I mean the play by play by Sneed to to force that touchback. I mean, I think that was like a, you know, a wild play, a wild swing. Um they kind of could have iced the game right there and and we took the ball and we went down and scored. So um really great effort by him. Um and then Cam made some great plays the next drive and so did Brit. So yeah, awesome. In particular being the way that responded early that way. Yeah, I think the emphasis our whole this whole week was just to take it one play at a time and we had a lot of those I think to begin with um you know Cam included but we just kept playing. We kept playing every single snap. Um and he responded in a big way.

Not sure why the Titans are celebrating like they actually won the game. It is clear that the game was rigged and the Cardinals won that game. It almost seems like the Cardinals self destruct on purpose. I am a die hard Titans fan since the Oilers days, and it is painful to admit they are having one of the worst seasons ever.
“We proves what type of team we are”….. and what exactly is that? A team that relies on opponents handing them wins? The only aspect of the game that you should be proud of, is protecting Cam,, and recievers catching the ball in the 3rd and 4th quarters… as well as all the pressure by Jeff… everything else was bad… you can’t expect to win games based on the result of this game… a win is a win,, and can be a morale boost… but let’s hope it’s a morale boost that gets the team back to playing football and recievers actually catching the ball… it’s one of the first things a person learns at a very young age,, how to catch a ball.
