Very rough Photoshop job here… but our current logo never works well when you pair it with the throwback uniform look. But rather than go back to our retro Falcon logo and have to expensively update the logo everywhere, just a few minor tweaks make it work. Then slowly phase out the current logo with the red lines in it. That logo is looking dated already anyway.

I like it. It’s a throwback modern taken on the classic logo.
I’m okay with red jerseys + black helmets or black jerseys + red helmets as our home, and for road jerseys red numbers + black or red helmets.
What I’m not okay with is our current black jerseys + black helmets, it’s a horrible modern take of our old black jerseys from the 90’s or earlier, and history has said in all black we’ve played mostly losing football… I don’t understand the appeal of it and why we’d go back to the jersey combination that gave us losing years.

The old one has an art deco style. The new logo feels kinda “corporatey”

It’s a little better but I still 1. Don’t like it overall, the italicized 2003 shape, and 2. Def don’t think it works with the throwback. I prefer we modernize the throwback logo. Keep the up and down/more rigid look, change the eyes so they are less derpy

What are you on about? The throwback uniforms use the…throwback logo. And it’s great. Why would you want a modern logo on the throwback uniform?
We have the best logo in the NFL. It’s the reason I became a Falcons fan. I thought the helmets were cool and the Matt Ryan uniforms were doing too much, hated the red sleeves. Our current uniforms are dope.
