Like fall flavor like pumpkin the the uh um whole everything is apple pie flavor. Like everything don’t need to be apple pie. Apple pie needs to be apple pie. Apple pie needs to stay apple pie. I agree with you. That’s all I need to be apple pie. I don’t need 17 other things to be apple pie. I’m not here for all the fall stuff. Now, now when you get me to Christmas cookie season. Don’t need it. I don’t need it. Uh, let’s talk a little bit of football here, Jordan JC, because I want to talk about the one thing that the Chicago Bears are going to have to improve upon coming out of the buy this season. And I think that, listen, there’s a lot of things that we want to see the Bears get better at. There’s a lot of things that we want to see the Bears uh uh take a step forward in. And listen, time is going to be the biggest factor in all of that, right? It takes time for you to build up uh um the the it takes time for you to build up the habits that end up happening for you to get the consistency to be able to go out there and be perfect at everything, right? And listen, this is week five of Ben Johnson’s new system with the Bears. Right now, they sit at two and two, and we’ve seen a ton of improvement from week one to week five. What is the one thing that you need to see fixed, Jordan JC, that you say if that gets done, this season is going to skyrocket for us? Uh uh in in a direction that and I I dropped a video clip that Commanders fans or Commodores fans, I like it easy. Sorry. Uh are very upset about, you know, it could be be uh uh having their Washington Commanders year. I saw that very similar. They’re not thrilled about it. It’s only Commanders fans commented. So, if you’re a Bears fan, get in those comments. Star War. Uh, what’s the one thing that you need to see fixed that if they fix this, this Bears team is going to skyrocket? We’ve talked about it a couple of times uh and in fact, Ben Johnson mentioned it uh couple of days ago or just actually just yesterday uh when talking about what he wants to see improve coming out of the buy and that is the penalties. Uh, I looked up the stat where we have 40 total penalties as a team, uh, including six that were actually declined. 26 of those infractions have been committed by the offense, including 11 pre- snap fouls. Uh, and and that has been the consistent theme is that we keep kind of working behind, you know, the eightball. Ben Johnson’s offense can’t be fluid. It can’t be at its best. It can’t get better and better and improve if we’re constantly moving backwards and working from behind. And so that’s directly on the offensive line, the attention to detail when it comes to the the the personal fouls or the pre- snap penalties or the false starts, whatever the case may be. Darnell Wright, Jonah Jackson, uh uh Drew Dolman at times, especially Jonah, like like it has been bad. And so going into the season, these are things that continuously need to be cleaned up. He has been talking at Nauseium about this for the entire month now, the past four games, and we need to continue to see progress. Otherwise, we may have another failed fail Mary. We may have another failed game because we can’t get the offense going. when you went up against the Las Vegas Raiders, you barely won the game, but you had a million and one times where you were literally 20 to 30 yards away from scoring because of turnovers and yet you only put up a few field goals because you kept working backwards. You kept getting penalties. And so that’s what I want to see. That is the biggest area of improvement that they need to make in my opinion in order to keep making progress with this offense. Listen, the penalties is going to be a massive one, right? Like I I think that if if we’re being honest, that has been the Bears’s Achilles heel for three regimes now, right? Mitch’s life is made easier if you don’t go backwards. Justin’s life is made easier if you don’t go backwards. Now Caleb’s life is made easier if you don’t go backwards. I think, you know, the the the penalties, the turnovers, is a great point because with that being said, you know, that there is a the the situation that this Bears team is in right now is if you I I think back to that Vegas game completely. If you don’t shoot yourself in the foot, that game’s probably not a game. That game’s probably over in the first quarter because you had so many turnovers that it shouldn’t have been a game you shouldn’t have been in the second half having to change things up. But that’s why you saw some of the changes you saw. It’s why you saw Braxton Jones sat down. It’s why you saw Azie Trapillo brought into the game. It’s why you you’re going to continue to see changes I believe this week because if you can’t do the job that I need you to do, I can’t have you on the field. And that starts with running the play. Yeah. So, we’ll see what ends up happening there. I think mine, I’m not going to lie to you. And hit that like button if you have not done so. Subscribe to the page. Leave a fivestar view. Y’all know what to do, man. Appreciate you guys for tuning in and showing love with us this morning. Um, the big one for me today, and I think that it’s probably the biggest one for the Bears overall because I I not to say I don’t agree with you that the penalties is an issue. You know, I’ve been talking about the penalties as an issue. Yeah. Probably since the dawn of time at this point. Like that’s how it feels honestly. Like I’ve been talking about this is an issue that I’m sick of since things began. But I’ll be honest with you, you’ve got a team right now that I believe has nine turnovers on the season. You’ve got a team right now that I believe uh um your DB unit as banged up as it has shown out and is starting to get healthy. uh the possibility and we’ll get kind of the first injury report here today that TJ Edwards is ready to go and healthy could be there and you’re adding that back into the mix. You’ve gotten more than you expected to get at all out of Noah Su. Um Tmaine Edmonds looks like he’s having a little bit of a resurgence, a little bit of a bounceback year, if you will. Um with all that being said, your defensive line is giving you nothing. A six-pack of zeros. A a fat pack of cheeks, if you will. Not even a fat pack of cheeks. Yeah. I mean, like bony cheeks. I wasn’t going there. I flat pack of cheeks. Oh, a flat pack of cheeks. I see what you did there. I see what you did there. That’s not bad. I’ll give you a thousand points for that. And without the defensive line giving you anything, if there was one thing that I would love to see them fix, we could figure out the pass rush. You have to be able to run the foot or stop the run. You have to be able to stop the run. I saw an article this morning from Dan Weider of The Athletic, which still feels weird to say, and he was talking about 10 telling numbers that the Chicago Bears uh um that are defining the Chicago Bears season. And the second one was 164.5. That is the rushing yards per game allowed by the Bears defense through week five. Second worst in the NFL. They are allowing a league worse 6.2 yards per rush and seven at a 7.7 uh uh percent clip. That’s what they allowed to the Raiders two weeks ago. And that marked the most rushing yards allowed by the Bears in a win since 1979. Jesus. And I’m gonna be honest with you, JC, I don’t understand it. The only piece that’s not here from when you had that dominant run defense is Demarcus Walker. He’s the missing piece. Is Dwock the missing piece? Where’s he at? Where’s Walk? Where’s Walk? Jesus. I thought we basically replaced him with Dio a Dang, but he’s basically been I thought we upgraded. Basically been a dead body since the first game. Um, but no man, it’s just to me there’s if you find a way to stop the run, you truly become one of the league’s most dangerous teams because you have a unit right now in the DBs and in that linebacking room that is taking the football away from you or for you at a high clip. And now you basically get to say, “Hey, guess what, boys? We got the run. They’re passing.” I think that not only takes this Bears team from being a dangerous or or being a a team that could be on the rise, but I think it makes them a dangerous football team. It does make them a dangerous football team if they can get that cleaned up. But I mean, you got your work cut out for you this week because, as you mentioned, second worst in the league at giving up uh those those rushing yards per game, but they’re going up against the best team at rushing yards per game. And so that that that’s not a good tandem that you want. And so there has to be a quick fix. There has to be some kind of way. And I’m sure they they know the numbers. They know the stats like we do. If we can see it, they know it. They probably talked at Nauseium about it over this by week about how can we find creative ways to stop the run. You got your guys getting back healthy hopefully. But that’s the thing with you. I I’m thinking that, you know, yeah, we let Demarcus Walker go. We upgraded with Dio and we got Jamar Turner and we got another year of improvement from supposedly from uh uh Javon Dexter. Then you get Grady Jared and you got big man Billings. Like you would think that that carousel of players on the interior is going to be more than enough, but apparently they haven’t done their job as well as we thought they would. And so there has to be again a fix and and I’m not exactly sure how you fix that. What is it that they they’re missing? Are they missing gaps? Are they what are they missing certain assignments? Are there again is there not attention to detail? I wouldn’t think that with all the veterans we have on that line that know they’re what they’re doing. But it it’s just not panning out on the field. And so again, I’m I’m with you on that as being one of the biggest improvements because this team could go from really really I would say they they could go from good to great if you you clean that up. If you clean that up on that side of the ball and you commit the the teams to having to be one track minded or or or or onedimensional, I should say in trying to just defeat you with the pass, then that’s where your secondary can start to eat. we got our guys coming back and Kyler and Tariq improving and things of that nature then that’s how you know we can dominate teams on defense and so uh there has to be some kind of way that we improve that pressure from the interior and also the pressure obviously just period from the defensive line. Yeah. Yeah. No 100%. Like it the Dline has been such a disappointment. I mean listen I get it and and I don’t expect Grady Jared to go out there and play this week. I don’t I I don’t think that Grady Jared is going to be uh um a he’s not ready yet. I I mean, listen, and we’ll see what it says on the injury report. Again, I think I’ve I’ve always said this, right? Grady Jared’s one of those guys who you could not practice all week and then he’d be like, “You need me to go out there, kill some people? I got you.” And it just goes into Okay. All right. He’s dangerous, guys. Watch yourselves. Yeah. Um, but I also think that the impact from Grady hasn’t been felt to this point. And for Grady, to me, I think he’s he’s a guy you you feel more in the pass rush than you do in the run stop. You know what I mean? Andrew Billings was supposed to be the run stuffer on this team. Haven’t seen that. Yeah. I haven’t seen that in two years. Don’t hear too much of Billings ever since he got hurt. Everybody Everybody talks about, oh, when Billings went out, that’s when the run defense fell off. No, it was bad with him out there before that. Yeah. Yeah. It was bad with him out there. And so like there just there doesn’t seem to be an answer for this Chicago Bears team when it comes to stopping the run. And you gotta find somebody. I’ll be honest with you, dog. On top of all of the all the other names, right? Montes Sweetie P. That sucks. Uh uh uh. Dio Dambo, you paid. All right. He can set an edge. Like that’s kind of what I expect here. Brady Jarrett, you paid. All right. That sucks. Javon Dexter, you drafted. I don’t think Javon Dexter knows the football season starting, bro. Like you you gota we have seen nothing out of Javon Dexter to start this season. The first game. Everybody had a good first game. Yeah, first game. That was about Dang Bo. Everybody was Oh my god, look at him. There he is. Rookie quarterback. He has no idea where to look. Then he cooks you in the fourth quarter. When are the draft picks going to pan out? Is there ever going to be a game where we go, he’s arrived. Oh, there it is. We see it. Yeah. I haven’t seen it the start of the season. Now granted, last season he started off hot, got banged up, tapered out, but he doesn’t look like the same player right now. He had what, five and a half sacks in six weeks last year. Mhm. And I think he finished with six. Yeah, he finished with with almost the same. Yeah, you got a good start. and and that that’s that I think that’s the theme is that it’s it’s the flashes we keep seeing we keep seeing flashes and and and moments that that there’s nothing wrong with seeing those things when you’re in your first year or your second year. You’re really getting your body developed and you’re getting accustomed to the league. you’re getting accustomed to the speed of the game and you know the type of defensive or offensive lineman that you’re going up against the weight of the game whatever the endurance at a certain point year what is it year three year four year three or year four for for Javon Dexter it’s like okay now it’s the put up or shut up you know time where where it’s like no more excuses because we can tell that you have the the the the the potential but now when is it going to be realized because potentials you have tons of players that come in the league potential and they show flashes and then they fizzle. Dio Dambo showed potential, showed flashes on his former team. Now it’s time to, you know, actually let that come to fruition. That’s what I’m saying. Like Montes Sweat, like we got a lot of guys in our our defensive line that have shown seasons or moments of spectacular, but that’s what separates the greats from the goods from the mids to the okays. It’s like you look at Max Crosby, he literally wrecked the game and almost won it single-handedly for his team. That’s what you want to see. That’s the level that you want to see when you’re when you’re drafting first and second and third rounders that have that same potential. And so instead of flashes, we need to see more consistency. And I think that has been the issue. Yeah, 100%. and and the consistency. I think to both points, right, to to what you brought up with this team to to where the team is at to, you know, what I was looking at as far as the defensive line, like consistency has been the biggest thing with this team for a while now, and having that consistency, again, everything going into this week, going into this commander game, we’ve talked about consistency. We’ve talked about uh uh um the the you know, can Tyreek Stevenson go out there and actually get stops and and make plays. We’ve talked about uh um can he be consistent as far as being the player he’s been the last two weeks? Can this can this offense remain consistent and continue to move forward? Can, you know, the the the team as a whole uh um remain consistent on not going backwards and committing those penalties? like there hasn’t been consistency to start things off and you can see it in Ben like that first press conference out of the buy when they asked him okay what are you seeing when you evaluate the game what what’s popping up for you excuse me it truly felt like Ben was like listen we got a lot of problems we got a lot of things we got to fix but we got a lot of pro or we got a lot of things that are okay but we got a lot of problem okay am I tripping or did it seem seemed like he seemed just a little bit more I don’t want to say exhausted, but more just like mellowed out during that press conference. He didn’t seem as as I don’t I don’t know fierce or or or as as you know what I mean? Like like I’m I’m I’m trying to find the word that wasn’t as aggressive. Yes. Yes. like he didn’t see it seemed like he was more just kind of just mellowed out in that conference like man you know there’s some things that he really notices that has to improve in this team and it will take some time. Listen maybe maybe he saw some stuff on tape and he was like boy this ain’t it. Yeah. Yeah. There’s a lot of there’s a lot of pieces that you drafted that are supposed to be long-term pieces of this team that we don’t talk about as impact players. There’s a lot. That’s a problem. Got to revamp it. Maybe. Yeah. That’s a problem. Yeah. And that means, you know, you you may be further away than you thought you were. Mhm. Doesn’t mean you can’t go out there and win. We know Ben’s going to want to go out there and win, but even even with the run game, I mean, like, you know, establishing the run game, which is going to be massive in this Commander game, he I I don’t believe that he really rocks with DeAndre Swift, but I think he’s also like, listen, like, as much as I want him to be better, and he probably just won’t, you can’t miss your blocks. You got to open these holes up for running backs to get through. I can’t even evaluate these guys because they don’t have an opportunity to go out there and hit the hole that they need to be hitting because you’re not opening that hole up. Yeah. So, it could just be a, hey, listen. You want to know what’s going on? So do I. We got problems. Yeah. Yeah. But we’ll see what ends up happening. Hit that like button if you have not done so. Now we got to talk about our three keys to a Chicago Bears win over the Washington Commanders. Jordan JC and this Commander scene is tough. Um, I mean like as much as we of course we know to the the issues that you know Jaden Caleb oh could have hired Ben Johnson and Bears could have had Dan Quinn there’s all this stuff that connects these two teams together plus the fact that we keep playing each other. Mhm. Like I mean so much and we have played the commanders almost every year. The year we don’t play the commanders is going to be like it feels empty. Is this the little boy? Never mind. Okay. The vocals there. By the way, I I think uh that song you were singing the other day randomly was a little uh Was that Fiddler on the Roof? I I found out. No, somebody actually I actually looked it up. Somebody said it was Yentle Yenti from Barbara Stritand. It was a movie. Oh, okay. Barbara Stryand. Yeah. I look, man. I I don’t know. Big Barbara. Something in my head. Something something in the back of my head just made me say that. Whatever. Well, while you’re singing that, let us know your third key to a Chicago Bears win over the Commanders this uh this coming Monday night. Oh, my third key to take out these dang commodors. I mean, Commanders, uh we talked about it. One of the one of the uh stats that you brought up is the rushing yards per game for the Bears at 102.3. I think if you’re going to not necessarily keep up with the Commanders, I think we have the team and the offense to to to win the game, but to kind of keep pace with their rushing attack. I think you have to find a way to get this run game going. Uh and and Kungan guy is coming off of a decent performance where when you gave him the rock, he I believe averaged 4.6 yards per carry. Yeah. Uh and and that’s what you want to see. DeAndre has not done that well when it comes to that average. I want to see more Kyle Manunk guy. We keep kind of giving him little, you know, bit little, you know, breadcrumbs here and there. Let’s let’s give him the whole Anchelada this this time. Let’s let’s split the the the amount of reps that that that Kung guy gets. Have some more confidence in the rookie and use your seventh round pick and hopefully maybe there’s something there that gives you a spark in the run game outside of, you know, DeAndre and Caleb having to scramble every now and then. Uh, that’s what I want to see. And maybe this average can go up and maybe that’s something that can propel us to making this game. I won’t say a blowout, but but you might be surprised at what the the end uh result might be. Listen, I I actually, you know, being in the locker room, I get to see a little bit more stuff like that. I I actually do think the Bears are going to win this game. Uh, and I think the biggest key to that is going to be being able to establish the run. like you said, like there’s there’s so much that you can do in Ben Johnson’s system if you’re able to establish the run. And I think that goes to Ben Johnson as well. Listen, calling the right run plays for the right players. Um, I I’ve said multiple times I think that uh um we’re in a situation here where this DeAndre Swift year could very similarly be like it was when he had Jamal Williams standing next to him where it was like, “All right, let’s give this Swift guy a shot.” Not that guy. All right, Jamal, we’re going to see try and set the single season touchdown record with you and see how many times we can get you into the end zone. I I’ll be honest with you, I think that’s going to be a point of emphasis for this team. I don’t know if if the starting running back that finishes the season is currently on this roster or like you said, is it Kyle Manungai? That’s going to be an interesting one to see. Uh my third key though outside of that and and we’ve touched on it a ton here. Uh going back to this Dan Weider article, 40 Mhm. 40 40 total penalties by the Bears, including six that were declined. 26 of those infractions have been committed by this offense, including 11 pre-nap penalties. And when Ben Johnson was going through his by-week self-couting, the one theme felt consistent. We’re playing behind the sticks regularly. You will not beat this Commander team if you give them opportunities to put you away. This is a football team that is just too good. Jaden Daniels is too good. He does not miss his opportunities to be able to I wouldn’t be surprised if like the game plan is literally just Jaden run and then we’ll hand it off to Lil Bill. Like I would I wouldn’t be surprised by that at all. That’s a nickname. Yeah, I know. I just like Krosky Merritt. Yeah. And I mean honestly he goes on to say on 43 drives excluding gameending kneel down possessions. 19 have included at least one offensive penalty. That’s bad. That’s that’s worse than bad. That is it’s it blows my mind. Yeah, it blows my mind that we are two and two with stats like that. Now, I will say this, right? Uh the third game versus the Cowboys, you kind of I I don’t believe we had more than three offensive pre- snap penalty. Like, it wasn’t it was a good game. So that means every other game you’ve just been littered with pre- snap penalty. You’re not going to beat this commander team playing behind the sticks like that. I agree. You you you cannot make mistakes with this squad from the beginning of the game to the end. And and you know, you’re going into a hostile environment as well. The crowd is going to be hyped. Like there there’s so many different storylines and mental hurdles that you got to get over. don’t make any more mental hurdles by don’t don’t compound the more mental hurdles by again adding to that stat that that’s a bad stat you know so again hopefully with the adjustments that have been made on the line you know you know again giving Azie Trapo another shot at right tackle Benedict is now your left tackle it seems like that’s going to start hopefully those penalties start to regress and hopefully Jonah Jackson gets a little bit more comfortable within his role um and and We see some progress there. But yeah, if you you get behind the Aball with these guys, they are fast all over the place on defense, offense, and special teams. That’s their calling card. You’re you’re going to feel the heat. You’re going to feel the pressure when you when you work from behind. And so, let’s not do that. Um my second key to a Bears victory over these commanders, uh it is going to be the amount of explosive plays. Uh that that is another stat that was actually brought up in this article, not necessarily to Roma Dunay, but it mentioned 13 I believe it’s 13 explosive plays where Williams has completed over 20 yards or more in his throws for the season. That’s when I what I want to see more of. Uh not just to keep kind of on pace with this team because they also have the ability to make some explosive plays. Not just their run game is good, but they have some really good options in the pass game. I do know that Terry McLaren is questionable. Uh, but they still got Debo, they got Herz, they got they got the Crosky Merit, they got some weapons still. So, so and then of course Jaden Daniels using his own mobility. And so, uh, I need to see the the Bears kind of go to those explosive plays more, not this vanilla, you know, play calling. And I and I do believe Ben Johnson’s going to continue to make adjustments. One of the things that I am very confident in is his ability to make adjustments on the fly. You know, in the middle of the game, if he sees something’s not working, he’s going to pivot. He’s not just going to stick to to to whatever he thought was going to work. I I do agree with I do have that faith in him to do that because I’ve seen it. And so, um, do we continue to, you know, push the ball down the field, whether it’s, you know, utilizing Roma Dun’s, you know, ability to go up and get the ball and high pointed the 50/50 balls, you know, use more of CoT even though Coette has kind of let you down a couple of times. Let’s utilize him more down the middle of the field. Oz, you know, more some Luther Burdens down the field. Be a big uh big OZ day. Possibly big O. Yeah. Hey, welcome back. There we go. And so, so, you know, you have the weapons as well to do that. And uh that’s what I want to see, some more explosive plays. Yeah, listen, it’s been a big thing for the Chicago Bears this season. I I think that, you know, when you when you talk about being explosive this year, like the Bears have been one of those teams that has been the big boom uh uh plays. A lot of them have come from this Bears team, which is shocking to say. There’s a lot of stats this year that I think uh truly are surprising for this Chicago Bears team when you uh when you when you look at it. Um, my key number two to this game, uh, Montes Sweat, are do you have a pulse? Are you there? Are you there? You know what I mean? You want to look like the big bad wolf in the in the locker room, but then when you get on the field, you you look like a puppy. I thought I thought we had a dog out here. Dead dog. Really? Monte Sweat, are you are you are you there? Because it hasn’t shown up in any way. The Chicago Bears sack leader this year is five guys with one. The hamburger with one. The Chicago Bears sack leader this year. You’ve got a uh you’ve got a fiveway tie right now. Jeez. Everybody’s got one. By the way, Dominique Robinson’s in that tie. like you gotta wake up at a certain point. Listen, I I I feel like you have all the skill in the world. I feel like you have all the talent in the world. I feel like you literally have the perfect body style to be a dominant force in this league. But none of that matters if you don’t show it. And we haven’t seen you show it since Christmas Day or the day after Christmas in Seattle last year when Gino Smith basically just fell over. Like you there hasn’t been a dominant day for Montes Sweat. I haven’t talked about a dominant day for Montes Sweat probably in over a calendar year since we got him, right? Like like when is the last time he’s had an impact? I I don’t remember it. I I really don’t remember it. I I think that I I honestly like like the first three quarters of the game I guess in theory when he when he blocked that football away when he blocked Yeah. Yeah. But again, I go back to flashes like you see moments of these guys and then they disappear. It’s like is that is that is that a product of Dennis Allen’s scheme or is it really him just not being able to get to the quarterback like we thought he could? You know, coming off of an injury riddled season, you know, his second year here, we we gave him that excuse. We said, “Okay, you know, you played hurt. You played hurt. You played hurt. We appreciate you playing through your pains, but now it’s like, okay, what’s up?” And you have all of the reasons now. You’re a former team. And I think when they interviewed him, they said, “Do you were you offended that they traded you?” He said, “No, I mean, you know, you feel a little bit of an offense, but you also understand that this is the business of the game.” And so, hey, if you feel a little offended, how about you take it out on the field? How about you go uh let uh smack Jaden Daniels upside the head a couple of times, you know, in the back field since you feel so offended. Catch him. Yeah. Something block a couple of passes. Do something. Yeah. I I would love to see a pulse from from from uh Montes. That would be that would be nice. So, I’m I’m in full agreement there with you. Um my biggest key for a Bears victory, this guy has been on podcast last two games. He has done really, really well. You know, I have been a hater of this guy. I’ve been very hard on him. I’ve been a harsh critic, judgmental, whatever you want to call it. Tyreek Stevenson, get past your demons. Now that the secondary is getting healthy, Kyler Gordon is returning. As he said, this time he is going to be back. You might have it a little bit easier on you. Terry McLaren again is questionable. So again, whatever your assignment is, whatever your role is in this game, stay focused, pay attention, do what you’ve been doing the last two games to set some s sort of tone, make some sort of impact, get an interception, strip uh uh uh fumble, whatever you got to do. Tariq tear it, you know, do do that. I’m not doing that. You know, if he does it three times, do we start, you know, mentioning it? He has He’s only done it once. We’re not doing the ting tear. I’m not here for it. Like come on here. You shut your mouth. Stevenson strip like we got like like let’s let’s let’s keep this momentum going for what you’ve done over the last two games. It’s been really good. I have been impressed. I have bought back in on your your level of talent, your potential because it’s starting to be realized. Again, just just get over this mental hurdle of this game. I know you said it. You felt hurt. Uh was his words about how people made him feel, but you should feel hurt because you you you did not do your job and so do your job. C contribute to a win versus this team. Yeah. Listen, I think that Tyreek is is going to be a massive part of this whole thing. Um the biggest one for me, we go as far as Caleb Williams takes us, right? I I I think the turnovers are going to be there. I think that, you know, right now this Bears team is turning the football over at a high clip. But Caleb, you it’s your time to stamp that, hey, I am the quarterback that should have been taken over all of these other guys because you haven’t done it yet. You lost to Drake May. You lost to Jaden Daniels. You lost to Bick. Well, you didn’t lose to Bon Knicks. You haven’t played Bon Knicks yet. You lost to uh JJ McCarthy. You’ve lost to everyone who was taken after you. Mhm. And I still don’t believe JJ’s hurt. I think they’re just like, “This dude’s not the guy we thought he was.” But no, like you you you don’t get to be that guy unless you beat that guy, right? There’s Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever grace the football field, but we would never say he’s on Tom Brady’s level skill-wise, talent-wise. Maybe it was there. But Tom Brady went out there and beat the brakes off of Pton Manning repeatedly. Yeah. He was the reason that you couldn’t get to a Super Bowl for years. And so to me, it’s, you know, like you got to start stamping, hey, I am that guy. At least start fighting back. And I think that comes down to the execution of the offense, of course, in totality. But we saw moments in that Raiders game and I I think this is, you know, you don’t want to see it a ton, but you got to see it when you got to see it. If I’m going to go out here and be successful, sometimes it’s about me making the play. Sometimes it’s about me being Superman. I don’t want to see Caleb be Superman all the time. But in the second half of that game, that team had nothing. He was just like, “Get on my back. Here we go.” That’s easy to do versus a Commander defense that is god awful. Or I’m sorry, not versus Commander defense, versus a Raiders defense that is god awful. Can you go out there and stamp that versus a commander defense I’m not even going to say is elite, but I think they give you a little bit more than what the Raiders give you because there’s nobody else on that team but Max Crosby. Although there is no Max Crosby this week. Maybe that makes Caleb’s life a little bit easier. I’m with you on that. I I think obviously we go as he goes. I think he understands that, you know. Um it’s going to be obviously the biggest storyline going into this game. You you got your offensive uh rookie of the year versus the number one pick, the Heisman Trophy winners, whatever you want to call it. You know, who comes out on top? and and by all metrics, Caleb has has started to his his progression has started in this second year and it seems like all the other quarterbacks from his year have kind of regressed a little bit in their stats. I know he hasn’t really beat anybody yet, but maybe this is the game where we’ll start to see that turnaround where, oh, Caleb has arrived a little bit versus this guy and versus that guy. And so, uh, we want to start with this one. Let’s keep this winning streak going. Get three in a row. And uh like we said, these next four games, there’s a lot of winnable games here coming up. And we got to start with this one. We’ll see what ends up happening. Let’s finish it out with this Jordan JC. Appreciate you guys tuning in and showing love. Hit that like button if you have not done so. Subscribe to the page. Leave a fivestar view. Y’all know what to do. Uh let’s finish it out with this. Jordan JC, your cubbies are alive. Oh boy. Oh boy. Your cubbies are alive, Jordan. By the skin of their teeth. Oh well, you know. Yeah, you had had a little uh what was that? Seventh inning bases loaded situation, but you got out of it. Got out of it. You fought your way through. Dare I say Wrigley Field when I thought Wrigley was going to work to your disadvantage after the drop ball in the first inning. It worked to your advantage after you just started launching them out of there. I guess the wind shifted. Well, there winds of change are here, baby. Only in the first inning. It seems like they got offense in the first inning for all these uh these games and then they just fizzle out. That’s pretty much what it seems like for everybody in this game. But hey, they scored more than uh three runs. That that that that’s what matters at the end of the game. James on Tyion, thank you very much for your services. Thanks for the relief pitchers that did their job and uh hopefully we get a little uh baseball magic in game five. If they can find a way to get it back to Milwaukee, then it’s up in the air. We’ll see. Uh that’s exactly what the Cubs did when they had to win every game in the World Series. Maybe we’ll see some magic. Maybe not. My hopes are not high, I’ll be honest with you, because Milwaukee just seems like a team that’s destined for a long postseason run. Uh but uh we’ll see. We’ll see. But what what is your what is your supposed beef with our manager on the north side? Uh he feels like he needs to do things when they don’t need to be done. Just sit there. Just sit there. Just sit there. Like I’m just I I was I was so confused with some of the pitching changes that he made. Yeah. It’s just like Craig Council wants to prove that he is the smartest guy in the room and more times than not he’s proven he’s not the smartest guy in the room. Now actually baseball wise he probably is. We will believe you if you win. The reason that we think Eric Spolstra is one of the greatest NBA coaches ever is cuz no matter what’s thrown at him, he don’t do too much and they win. Craig Councel wants to prove on the field I know how to play chess when sometimes you just got to play checkers. Hey, move that piece there. I get it. Baseball’s a chess match. you want to be the smartest or you want to have, you know, the the smartest manager that you can have and you want to have that old school feel of like, oh, okay, we’re going to put uh George Yabanssky over here on third when normally plays first. You know, the NS used to be insane back in the day for some of these players. We’re going to put uh Jojo Black Shoe over here in the uh the outfield and they’re not going to see it coming. Jojo Black, you don’t need to do that. Yeah. like when your team is rolling, leave them alone because they haven’t been rolling very often. No, that that’s very true. I’m I’m and and I I have to agree with you with that. There has have been even in the season there’s been boneheaded times where it’s like your your starting pitcher is really in a groove and for whatever reason you just want to go to the relief or the bullpen because you trust that they’re going to do good. Like I I like Brad Keller. I like Paul Morans. I like Valencia. But you don’t always have Keller was a Keller was a chance. Kell was a chance when he brought Keller in. I was like I was like some confidence in this guy. But right here he’s got stuff. It worked out tough. He almost he almost actually blew us the uh the uh the previous uh series versus the Padres’s. And so I’ve got beef with them at times. But no, you on on your point. It’s funny because I I’ve watched I can’t remember who you was talking to, but there was uh our former championship winning uh head coach Joe Madden. Joe Madden had You mean that guy that y’all ran out of town with pitchforks and uh and fires and torches? I didn’t get it done. I didn’t do anything. I love Joe Madden. And Joe Madden will always have a place on my heart for getting us a championship. I appreciate that, man. But whatever they did, they were wrong. Because what he even said is that maybe in his opinion when they were talking about how Craig Council went about starting even the first game against the Brewers, he said maybe he overthought because of the metrics and everybody’s going off of metrics so dog on much around the you know baseball for the last however many years that they just don’t look at the just use your eyes to see how the game is going. Like can we just play normal baseball? We don’t always have to go to the metrics. We don’t always have to go to the analytics. Yeah. Like like you used Matthew Boyd and he got crushed. I understand Matthew Boyd deserved a chance in the first first game. Probably should have had James on Tyion out there. You probably should have used him first. Like like there’s reasons why sometimes analytics don’t always add up and you just need to play baseball the way it was intended. And so again, hopefully, like I said, there’s some magic. I don’t hope I’m just glad we didn’t get blown out and we didn’t have a 3-0 uh blowout of Milwaukee. So we’ll see what happens. Yeah, you fought back, man. You guys fought back. Keep it Keep it alive. Keep it alive, baby. Shut up. Oh, you’re hoping. I know you’ll be rooting for brother. I ain’t going to lie to you. There was a part of me that there’s a little little twinge of excitement when I was like, “Oh, runner, what was it? Runners on runners on first and second.” But what was it? No outs for the Brewers. No outs. Yeah. I was like, I’m like, “Yeah.” Yeah. Here we go. I was like, “What a way to lose inland. I bet they won’t be singing go Cubs go tonight. Come on, baby. That W. [Music] You guys lost by nine. Why are you singing right now? What’s happening? Everybody’s drunk. Everybody’s drunk. Jesus. They were last night. I’ll tell you that much. Hey man, we appreciate y’all for tuning in and showing love as always. Hit that like button. Subscribe to the page. Leave a fivestar view. Y’all know what to do. Uh for Mr. Medium Self, Jordan JC, it is your boy Path the Designer back at it again. We have a good time on this show. Y’all stay safe out there. Chicago Medon. One love. One more to go for those CBies. Maybe two. We’ll see. Probably one. Probably one. Probably one. I want him to make it so that the Dodgers can beat him. Shut up about the Dodgers. We actually beat them in the overall record for the That’s the Yeah, good job. Good job. You going to go further than them in the playoffs. To be continued. They got clapped yesterday though. I’ll tell you that much. Boy, I cut that game off quick. Phillies put up three in the fourth. I was like, “Oo, that’s the one guy I wish we still had.” I I hate to count. You mean uh Mr. beer league softball is as coined by uh by David Kaplan. We lost JC. Well, there’s the end of the show.

How can a team that was 5-12 clown a team that was in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP
Kyler and TJ help stop the run, but the biggest way is by scoring points on O and making teams throw. Thats what the Lions doβ¦their D isnβt anywhere near as good as their O allows them to be.
