  1. “Take your time”
    “Don’t rush it”
What if he is y’all? Like he wouldn’t be on this timetable without the Celtics knowledge right?

  2. I’m saying this right now, his recovery will be unprecedented. He’s going to come back in record time and be an even BETTER player than before. He will win MVP within 3 years and we will get another title in that time frame too

You heard it here first ladies and gentlemen, sit back and enjoy witnessing absolute GREATNESS

  3. A kinda chin-up. Anyway, too bad the NBA doesn’t have a designated shooter to take foul shots and play offense only.

  4. If this sub was in charge of his rehabilitation he’d just be bed-bound for 3 years I think.

  5. Fuck, do I have to hold my breath in the same way I watched Timelord or Porzingis land awkwardly every time?

  6. Do not let him fucking play I’m telling this sub right now just be patient and let him rest a year y’all are hyping yourselves up for no reason

  7. If Tatum really comes back this season and he’s actually hooping; we may have to put him in talks as one of the greatest Celtics ever. Like second or third at least. Even more so if he can win a ring or two more.

  8. I asked chat gpt when an nba player can dunk again after tearing their Achilles and this is what I got “ Some players can technically dunk earlier in rehab (around 9–10 months), but trainers usually delay that until the tendon and calf strength are >90% of the uninjured leg”

  9. On one hand, really want to cheer up and optimistic that he might be back in the next season, On the other side, I hope that he could rest for the next season so that the team may draft Dybantsa/Boozer/Peterson as the new helper for the team when he comes back.

  10. For all the fools out there like “this was recorded before the injury” or “that’s AI”… I’m a normy (no pro PT team) and had my achilles surgery a year ago. I was running nonstop by 6 months post-op and I’m doing a half marathon in two weeks. Granted I don’t do the same kind of explosive work JT does, but his progress given today’s achilles protocol is not surprising at all. Still I don’t think they’ll play him til Dec/Jan to be safe.
